We had the great pleasure and joy of using Cindy's Cakery for both of our daughter's weddings in 2015 and 2018. Each time Cindy was a joy to work with and delivered a beautiful and delicious cake ! I wanted to specifically mention that as we found Hurricane Florence heading in our direction Cindy was proactive in reaching out to us and offering suggestions and ideas on how we could best manage the challenges before us-thank you Cindy ! Everything Cindy has done for us from a groom's cake, to rehearsal dinner cupcakes to of course the wedding cakes were wonderful ! Cindy's Cakery was fantastic! Absolutely delicious (we chose lemon+raspberry and vanilla+cherry), and the cake looked absolutely stunning (we went with the partially frosted design decorated with fresh fruit). Cindy was very accommodating and patient, which was greatly appreciated since I was arranging things from another country. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She really helped to make my wedding a wonderful event. Looking forward to the 1st anniversary cake, too!

If you’re looking for a beautiful and delicious cake/cupcakes, Cindy is the way to go! For us, the cake is one of the best parts of a wedding, and she did nothing short of a perfect job. I’ve had so many people since the wedding ask me where we got our cupcakes from. She was wonderful to work with and so personable. We’re already counting down to our anniversary cake!

Cindy was so helpful through the entire process of creating our wedding cake! She was patient when I didn’t know what I wanted and she worked with me when I completely changed my mind on the design of the cake. As far as the cake goes, it was beautiful and so delicious. Cindy is awesome! I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she made it even better. Also the best tasting cake ever. I was still eating it when I got back from my honeymoon and it was still moist and flavorful. Thank you again Cindy! George and I did not want to cut the cake!! :)

Cindy made our wedding so much sweeter!! From the moment I contacted her to do our wedding cake she was incredibly responsive, answered all my questions - and the best part - the cake was DELICIOUS!! We were from out of town and having a destination wedding but had the pleasure of doing a tasting - so many good choices of cake! We were able to customize each layer! Our guests really enjoyed the cake as well. Our cake turned out beautiful and was exactly what we wanted - we can't say enough good things!!

Cindy of Cindy’s Cakery was absolutely a joy to work with and our wedding cake was gorgeous. We have wanted to write a review for several months now, but with my father waiting for a heart transplant and having to stay in the hospital for long periods of time, it has been hard. Although he is still waiting, we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to say how amazing it was to work with Cindy. From the cake tasting to the wedding reception Cindy was so easy to work with and as we made changes to the original cake design she would email a new sketch to us within 24 hours. If you go to her website you’ll see how talented she is and the wonderful artistic eye she has. What you can’t see from her pictures is how ridiculously good the cakes taste. There are a lot of bakeries out there and we talked with many of them. The bottom line is, if you want a cake that is gorgeous and taste great I wouldn’t trust anyone else. We would proudly recommend Cindy’s Cakery to anyone. P.S. Cindy provides a complimentary 1st Anniversary Cake so you can use all tiers of the cake during the reception.

Cindy was the best possible person to do our wedding cake. We had looked around at other cake places and did a few other tastings, and Cindy by far had not only the best tasting cakes, but also the most reasonably priced. It's amazing how much some of the other local vendors will charge for a wedding cake and they didn't even taste that great. Cindy had a range of delicious flavors. We loved them all so much that we chose different flavors for each tier of our cake. I had multiple guests tell me after the wedding that they kept sneaking extra slices of cake from the cake table because they wanted to keep trying all the flavors. If you do a tasting with Cindy definitely ask to taste Dreamsicle. It was mine and my husband's favorite. Thank you so much for everything Cindy!

AMAZING cake- it was DELICIOUS and everyone at the wedding LOVED it!! Not only was the cake yummy, but it was beautiful! Cindy was professional, trustworthy, flexible and priced fairly!

We absolutely LOVED our wedding cake by Cindy!! Cindy’s cakes are gorgeous, there’s no question about that. You can see from all of the photos of her cakes that she is very talented and has a wonderful artistic eye. What you can’t see from her pictures is how ridiculously good the cakes taste!! Normally when you think of wedding cakes you think they’re kinda dry, kinda bland but made to feed lots of people. Not the case with Cindy. They’re moist and flavorful. We got so many compliments on our wedding cake and I was so bummed because I was only able to try two of the 4 flavors we had in our tiers (the other two got devoured too quickly but I heard they were amazing). I highly recommend her apple spice, she has managed to perfect the perfect spice proportion! And the chocolate/tiramisu was to die for! I’m so grateful our catering managed to save us a couple pieces! The hardest part is going to be picking what flavor we want for our anniversary cake….. Thank you so much Cindy!!! P.S. I also have to say on a side note, so many vendors I emailed with wedding inquiries were slow to respond or did not respond at all (still waiting to hear back from 1 from a year and a half ago) but Cindy was EXTREMELY responsive. She always answered my emails within 24 hours which is a big relief for brides every where ☺

Cindy is a one-woman shop who can customize your cake exactly how you want it; tiers can be separate flavors for no extra charge. And she has so many choices to choose from. She also customized the icing to our teal wedding color. She has a great tasting - you get a real good test to how her cakes will turn out. We had a 3 tier cake, the bottom layer was dreamsicle and the top two were chocolate w/ peanut butter filling. And they were all delicious.
