Perfect does not even begin to describe the experience that we had with Craig and Lydia from Cinematic Images and the services that they provided for our wedding. From the beginning of the planning process they were so easy to work with. They were professional, easy to communicate with, and truly invested in capturing our special day. We were blown away by the products that they delivered. Since receiving our highlight video, a day has not gone by that we have not watched it. After the wedding day, we communicated back and forth about music, and the moments that we did, and did not want featured in our video. The day of our wedding they were very discrete. There were many clips from the highlight video that were surprises to us because we did not know that they were filming in those moments. We were very impressed with the way they matched the music to the action that was taking place in the shot. We are so happy that we chose Craig and Lydia for our video and love that we can now relive that day at any moment. Couldn’t say enough great things about our experience with Cinematic Images from Classic Video Productions. From our first meeting to our last photo we felt so comfortable and would highly recommend their work, especially to the LGBTQ community. Our pictures came out AMAZING and our video even better! They even included a number of extra hours AND an additional photographer- capturing our once-in-a-lifetime experience from 10am to 9pm with 3 photographers and thousands of pictures to share with all our friends and family.

Wow! Is all I can say about our experience with CVP. This was both of our 2nd marriages and they were so much better than my first marriage...and I know from experience. We had heard about them from family and we decided to ask them to come to DC for our wedding. We were lucky to get them for our date over 4th of July weekend. We hired Lydia and Craig to photograph our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding, wedding and reception. They were unbelievable: Professional, creative, friendly...they really cared. For the Rehearsal Dinner, there was a lot of family who hadn't seen each other in years so it was important to us to catch those reunion moments. Lydia and Craig were on it. They had a 6th sense about being in the right place when cousins met for the first time etc. The photos are fantastic! For the Pre-Wedding with bride - at a time when I was nervous, Craig made me and my bridal party feel at ease. He was so creative with showing my gown, tiara, bouquets etc. Touching moments with my Matron and Maid of Honor helping me get ready. A very relaxed limo ride to the venue with bride and bridal party chatting as we anticipated the big day. - also captured on film. For the guys at the hotel, some great warm yet light-hearted moments with groom and his sons and my sons. It brought smiles to our faces looking at the photos today as they were tying ties and helping each other and the groom get ready. For the wedding , (at a DC Monument outdoors at 100F) they captured every moment so well from procession to ceremony to recession and group photos. So many different angles and we didn't even feel their presence...incredibly unintrusive to us and guests! (they have long lenses that allow them to stand far away but get the most intimate of expressions). The group photos were very pleasant and you can see that in the expressions of the guests young and old. To photograph large groups of people it is difficult to get all to be looking good - but they did!! The Reception was on a boat on the Potomac River which could have been difficult to photograph, but Lydia and Craig captured the decor, the kids' table, toasts, dancing, cake cutting and even an impromptu dance session with the little kids which was completely unplanned...they got it!!! Now we are looking at our amazing collection of photos and reliving the day...CVP didn't miss a thing! Our experience was so positive with Lydia and Craig and we have such a good feeling about our wedding and these photos that we will treasure forever. Excellent teamwork!!

Working with Craig & Lydia was one of the best decisions I could have made. They were able to capture what my photographers missed. They were never in the way or in our faces we hardly knew they were there. Craig & Lydia were always quick response with their emails and truly a pleasure to work with at our wedding.
