Ciprian did our wedding day photos as well as an engagement photo session - and I'm so glad we chose him. He made both sessions extremely comfortable and helped us work though all the nerves and emotions to get some amazing shots! The REALLY special part, though, was the sunset and dusk photography of just me and my husband that Ciprian did. I'm really glad we trusted and followed his artistic direction, because the photos of just us are STUNNING. He used light and shadow and movement to capture our venue and the night so well. Overall, we feel very lucky to have chosen a photographer that not only hits all the standard shots (bridal party, family, dancing, etc.) but also has an artistic vision that he uses to elevate the photos from this special day.

There aren’t enough words to describe the talent and professionalism that is Ciprian. He did our engagement shoot and wedding, and has a unique eye for great photos. Also, he is extremely personable and laid back, which only makes a special day even greater. We are obsessed with all of our photos!

Ciprian was amazing to work with. We had some unexpected changes, which were out of our control, on the day of the wedding. He was flexible and accommodating, and was able to go with the flow. Ciprian's work is absolutely stunning. We used him for our engagement photos and wedding, and we're in awe of the photos. We could not recommend him more highly. The colors pop but are natural, and the lines are crisp, which is exactly what we were looking for. On top of great photography, he basically set out our entire timeline for us when we had no clue what we were doing. We told him that all we knew was we wanted sunset photos, and in March he pulled out his phone, looked up the sunset in October, and then explained how it would work in Tahoe with the mountains and created our entire timeline, including when we should start hair and makeup for the girls. He has a great personality and was easy to hang out with, gives great direction (what do we do with awkward hands....), and moved everything along quickly so we could get back to the party and focus on guests. We loved his candids, and appreciated that he took our request to do some traditional family photos for the mothers who wanted to hang them up. I would definitely recommend him to anybody, and have already.

We could not have asked for a more amazing wedding photographer to capture such an important day. Ciprian is professional, personable, and talented. He captured the Lake Tahoe scenery so beautifully in our pictures while somehow still making us the focus of the pictures. You can tell how experienced he is, and he knew of the best location to have our photos taken before the ceremony. I also dont think I’ve seen anyone work harder at a wedding. We were a little concerned at the beginning about not having a second wedding photographer but had the utmost confidence in Ciprian when he assured us that we didn’t need one—well, he was 100% right, and I swear he managed to be in multiple places at one time (he’s a wedding ninja). He also took charge of the wedding party and guests when it came time for the posed group pictures. He has a way of being assertive (which is a must as a wedding photographer) while still being personable—everyone was very impressed with him. He got all of our pictures to us so quickly after the wedding, and they turned out even better than what we expected or imagined. We will cherish these pictures forever and are so incredibly thankful that Ciprian was our photographer.

Ciprian was recommended to us from one of our family member's as he had photographed their wedding. We are so happy that we had Ciprian photograph us for our engagement photos as well as our big day. My husband and I are not the most photogenic nor are we very natural in photos and he helped us feel so comfortable. In addition, he had our photos available for viewing within 24-36 hours... yes, 1.5 days it was ready! He is so quick with responding to all emails and ensured to answer all of our questions. He is amazing and worked our wedding from 8am to 9pm and caught the best moments of our day. Trust me, go with Ciprian!!!

As soon as I saw Ciprian's work, I knew he was exactly what I was looking for. Not only does he make his subjects look fantastic, he also captures the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe in an unbelievable way. It's pretty clear now why every single review I could find awarded him 5 stars. He was professional, charismatic, friendly, and efficient. Ciprian shot both our engagement photos and wedding photos, and in both cases he had hundreds of pictures ready for us by the very next day (with more coming later on as well). We are getting married in New Hampshire but live in California. We wanted to do engagement photos here up in Lake Tahoe. I am so happy we went with Ciprian! He is amazing to work with! My fiancé doesn’t like taking pictures at all but he made the whole process really easy for us with great results! The photos are beautiful beyond words! My fiancé even loves them! Ciprian is an excellent photographer! I am so very glad we chose him. We booked a pre-wedding photoshot in Lake Tahoe and the experience was beyond amazing. He showed us the right spot to take pictures. He showed us the right pose. He made us relaxed and enjoyed the shot. Everything was very natural. I got many many great pictures that I love. He is very good at both capturing the nature scene and our portraits. He is very prompt in delivering the high quality pictures. I cannot praise him enough. What a shame he's not in Houston (where my wedding is going to be). Otherwise I hv no doubt I would love to have him during my big day as a photographer.

Ciprian is awesome! We booked him for our wedding in Tahoe and every interaction with him was brilliant. He was particularly helpful with our special request to do a "Trash the dress" photoshoot with us skiing in our wedding dress and tux. He was very helpful in choosing the best place in Tahoe to take the pictures! We were kind worried about that he may not able to ski/snowboard for our trash the dress skiing day, but it turns out that he is not only a great photographer but a great skier too! He was on time and he took brilliant pictures on the wedding day as well as trash the dress skiing down Diamond Peak Lake Tahoe. All photos were just amazing to take breath away! What amazing photography! Ciprian works wonders with the Lake Tahoe background. We did a package with Engagment photos along with wedding day photography and we were not disappointed! Within 48hrs we had a few digital proofs and within a week had all of our photos. He provided all day wedding coverage, so we got shots from getting ready through the grand exit. It was a perfect day, beautifully captured by Ciprian Photography!

Ciprian was a blast to work with. He was fun to be around, he was professional, he was able to capture all the moments without distracting anyone or altering any of our moments. Ciprian is an amazing photographer! He photographed our wedding and engagement photos. Every picture turned out beautifully, not to mention he shot over 1,000 photos on our wedding day. He is professional and great to work with. Our wedding party, family and friends were all very comfortable taking photos with him. He is great at making people laugh and catching those great candid moments. We also had him do a photo booth at our wedding. It was not a typical everyone pile in and wait for the screen to count down, he had a back drop, camera, and assistant photographer that shot all the photos. They also turned out great and all of our guests had a blast taking photos! We received all of our photos on discs about three short weeks after the wedding. I love them all! Yes he is a little more on the expensive side but worth every single penny. I also budgeted that way and was willing to spend more on photos because those are the memories I will have forever. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the Reno/Tahoe area. My dad said he is not just a photographer but an artist and his work definitely supports that.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Ciprian Photography for our wedding at Squaw Valley, CA last month. Included in all of his packages is an engagement photo session, which we did in the winter before our summer wedding. All the photos came out great and he was fun to work with. He's not into cheesy photos, so if you are, he's probably not the right guy for you. He's big into finding great lighting and taking advantage of the lighting and beautiful scenery to complement his photos. On our wedding day he arrived with a friendly assistant and spent the entire day with us. His services may seem expensive, but he is worth every penny. We look forward to seeing our photos later this week!

Ciprian Photography is the only Tahoe photographer I would suggest looking into. Having some photography experience myself, I was very picky when selecting a wedding photographer. I spent a very long time doing research on photographers for our wedding, and was quite simply unimpressed until I came along Ciprian's website. Ciprian photography has great professional quality and is very unique. My fiance and I recently had our engagement photo session with Ciprian on Lake Tahoe. He made the session very fun and relaxing and the photos turned out fantastic. We can't wait for the wedding photos!

If you and your significant other will be getting married soon, before choosing your wedding photographer, take your time and do your homework. Having the right wedding photographer can be such a blessing but on the flip side, having the wrong photographer can truly be a curse. I know that you too have heard those wedding photographer horror stories. When planning your wedding, you will find that everyone becomes an expert but always remember these simple truths; this is your life, your time, your money, your wedding and you deserve to be happy with your wedding choices. By the time you reach the altar, you will have invested months of dreaming, planning, scheduling, negotiating, coordinating and meeting with vendors to insure that they will fulfill your wedding vision. And after months of praying that everything goes as planned, when your life changing day arrives, you will realize that there are no do overs, no replays and no second chances to get it right. You absolutely can't afford to leave the choice of your wedding photographer to chance and you need to have the upmost trust that your wedding photographer will capture all the beautiful moments of your wedding. Of course, there are many wedding photographers to choose from but remember you want the very best because you deserve the very best. Although we live 500 miles from Lake Tahoe, after viewing Ciprian's gorgeous work on his websight and blog, we set up an appointment to interview him. Upon our initial meeting, rather than trying to impress us with with what he could do, he presented himself as down to earth, listened to what we wanted, asked a lot of pertinent questions and made some very good suggestions. There was no pressure, no sales pitch but instead, he was professional and he encouraged us to take our time to compare and contrast his work with that of his peers. After reviewing the work of dozens of wedding photographers, the choice was clear and we could not be more blessed with having chosen Cirprian as our photographer. On our wedding day, family, friends and even vendors had excellent feed back regarding how well Cirprian interacted with them. To this date, everyone in my wedding party continues to ask about Cirprian and how he is doing. He was charming, engaging, conversant, encouraging, patient, good natured, great with children and seamlessly blended in with everyone. I am still impressed that he had taken the time to memorize everyone's name and treated everyone with the upmost respect yet maintained a gentle assertiveness to steer people into the right shots at the right time. As in his other beautiful work, he did not disappoint us as our gorgeous wedding photos were balanced, focused, detailed, lush and rich in color. He also complimented his color photographs with stunning black and white pictures. In reviewing Cirpian's work, it is quite clear that he is a master in the use of frame, timing, lighting, contrast, exposure, and focus. We are so pleased that he beautifully captured the essence of those special tender moments of our wedding. The reader should know that by nature, I am not photogenic and forewarned Ciprian that I have the smile of a dead cat. Yet, I have nothing but the highest praise for the quality and the style of the work that he produced for us. Prior to our wedding, we spent a considerable amount of time in effort to find the very best photographer for our wedding and I am happy to say that our research was well rewarded.

I love love love every photo Ciprian took of my wedding. He is such an amazing photographer with a really good eye for photos that I don't think anyone else would have seen. He showed up the day of my wedding on time and ready to work. He was professional, but nice, and kept a very close eye on time, so that I wasn't out taking pictures on my ceremony site while guests were arriving. He also BOOKED it all over the place to get the best shots. He came and grabbed my husband and I to take some amazing sunset pictures and had to run in and out to get the right lense for his camera (he ran several other times to get a certain shot). His enthusiasm and dedication for photography were very apparent, but he never once got in the way of our wedding day. I actually don't remember where he stood during certain key points, like our ceremony and speeches, and he still got amazing shots without being intrusive. I am so glad we had him photograph our wedding and I would not have picked anyone else.

I don't normally write reviews but in this case I really wanted to. Ciprian is an amazing photographer, and my husband and I were extremely lucky to have had him shoot our engagement and wedding photos. The pictures turned out amazing! His turn aournd time is quick, we had the photos and slideshow within a week of our sessions. He made you feel comfortable during the photo shoot and I trusted the fact that the pictures would turn out beautiful. Everyone commented on how incredible the pictures turned out. He's so easy to work with and is incredibly talented. If you're looking for someone to capture the most amazing moments of your life, Ciprian is your only choice. Finding a good wedding photographer is a scary project. There are a lot of photographers out there and picking one without a personal recommendation can be difficult, especially with so much on the line. We just feel so lucky to have had Ciprian shoot our wedding. My husband and I not really comfortable in front of the camera but Ciprian helped us to feel relaxed and comfortable doing all our shots. He is professional but also fun and personable to work with. He has such a creative eye, he took some very artistic photos of our wedding party and the photos of just my husband and me looked fantastic. He stayed longer than planned and captured everything we had asked for and more. The photos we received were all just so amazing, we honestly couldn’t be happier about our experience with Cirprian. We would definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking for a professional, talented, and creative photographer.

Ciprian was hands down, the best part of our wedding! He captured everything I loved about that day, and so much more that I had missed! His creativity and love for photography comes out in every single image he produces and he is able to capture so much more than just smiles.
