Located just north of Santa Barbara, California, the Circle Bar B Guest Ranch is a spectacular location for a secluded and exclusive private event. The ranch is set on more than 1,000 acres of private land complete with canyons, creeks, native Oak & Walnut trees, hiking trails, ocean views, hidden waterfalls, and endless natural beauty. Ranch amenities include our main lodge and bar, 18 overnight accommodations, a large indoor dining room, horses & stables, outdoor dining areas, a pool and spa, hiking trails and more. We specialize in destination weddings and can host up to 150 guests, including up to 70 guests overnight in our cabins and rooms. utiful place on its own. To have a wedding there was truly the experience of a lifetime. In all honesty, this venue is not for someone looking to just let the venue take care of the whole wedding. It requires some planning and logistics but the trade off is that you get a stunning venue that is essentially a blank canvas for you and your guests to spend a whole weekend at. The Ranch can sleep over 50 guests in their beautiful and comfortable cabins. The rest of the guests get shuttled in. We had our guests come on Friday night for a welcome party as well as for the ceremony which we held on the grounds and the reception. The ranch is off the beaten path which makes it feel even more special and a huge rarity in Santa Barbara is that you can have amplified music until midnight! The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Even before we picked a venue, we were super nervous about our wedding food because we knew some of our guests were big foodies or even sommeliers and restaurateurs with James Beard Award nominations, all of them came up to use to RAVE about the food. The wine selection was also heavily complimented. Our guests raved about the kindness of the staff who really went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests. This was a weekend we didn't want to end. Days after the wedding, I'm still receiving texts from family and friends telling me they wish they were still at the ranch or talking about how they can't wait to go back for a night's stay and more tri-tip.
Look, Circle Bar B requires some work, but doesn't marriage? And just like your forever relationship, the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. My wife and I will be coming back to the ranch as often as possible for years to come. It's truly that special! If you want a wedding surrounded in natural beauty that feels secluded and memorable with fantastic food and not just a few hours but a FULL weekend of memories, look no further!

We did a tri-tip rehearsal dinner and Mexican buffet for our wedding and it was so delicious! The Mexican buffet was really the best! It was nice to be able to take over the entire ranch for the weekend - leaving ample time for set up and clean up. They also had really great recommendations on what vendors to work with. I feel so lucky to have found Circle Bar B!

been asked multiple times by my friends if they can steal the venue for themselves. Honestly, it was so perfect I cannot put it into words. The staff was so friendly and easy to work with, the food was great, the bartender PJ was on point. Sara at the front desk was a doll and helped with anything we asked. It was picturesque and lovely. We are already planning to return for a family reunion in the coming years. I cannot imagine our wedding anywhere else. I wish we could go back in time and do it all again!!

They even let us have a talent show in the barn - which was probably my favorite memory of the events - besides getting married of course!

most amazing venue and wedding they'd ever been to! Henry, Kathy, Sammy and ALL the rest of their staff were so sweet, warm, accommodating, and easy to work with. Their food was to die for (people can't stop raving about it... and these are San Francisco foodies!), their property is gorgeous, and they're pretty much the most easy-going staff you could imagine working with. My family and friends loved them. It's so cool that you get the whole property for the weekend (makes you feel like your wedding's not over in the blink of an eye) and everyone staying on the property got to know each other so well. I love seeing pictures of my friend's horse back riding while I was getting ready on Saturday- I highly recommend doing that while you're here- stunning views! If you're looking for a chill, rustic wedding venue, look no farther!!! I just want to go back and do it all over again.

assumed everything had just been planned perfectly (HA!) 53 of my closest friends and family stayed with us and I loved the communal breakfasts and hours of hanging by the pool with the kiddos. The best part??? We partied until 2am on our wedding night (DJ shut down at midnight)- didn't have to go anywhere because the whole property was ours for the taking. Don't pass this up!
