Choosing to contact him was easy based on all his wonderful reviews. We quickly realized we didn't want another DJ and we were so right to feel that way. From there, he was responsive, clear, and well-organized. Tim took the time to explain his simple contracting process, and in a matter of days, he was booked! Once contracted, he directed us to his portal, which I must admit, was not only super easy to use, but so much fun to play around with (especially since we had a ton of odd requests). Once we completed the portal forms, DJ Tim scheduled another call to ensure that he understood our expectations and also provide some really useful feedback and suggestions from his experiences. We had a long list of requested dance songs and "do-not-plays," but were pretty clueless when it came to cocktail hour and dinner music. We told DJ Tim to just do his thing, and we're so glad we did. His recommendations were a hit. Like I mentioned, we had LONG lists of songs we wanted to hear and not to hear. I guess you could consider us "emo millennial kids" at heart, so the last thing we wanted to hear was the Cha Cha Slide and Sweet Caroline. Give us Green Day!!! DJ Tim heard us loud and clear. Not only did he play all of our requested songs (some of which he had never heard of and was able to pull them from outside his library), he instinctively played fillers that fit so perfectly with the vibe we were going for. Since the event, we have had DOZENS of people tell us that we had the best wedding playlist they have ever heard. One guest specifically told me that she typically has to be incredibly drunk to dance at a wedding, but for ours, she had 1 drink and danced all night long. On top of all that, he was critical in managing the logistics of our day - making announcements, keeping us on our timeline, and coordinating with the other vendors.
