Circle the Date was an excellent place to search for wedding gowns! They are the most size-inclusive boutique in the central Wisconsin area I've been to. The workers are all lovely and friendly and they make you feel good about yourself while trying on dresses. I ended up purchasing my gown from Circle the Date and I thought it was perfect! I even had my dad come in to find his outfit for my wedding day and they were very knowledgeable about men’s and women's formal clothing.
Seamstress for alterations was fantastic. Faith was very attentive to my needs and made sure it looked great on wedding day.
Suit rentals was an easy process.
Although I bought my dress elsewhere (designer that Circle the Date didn't carry), my trying-on experience here was the BEST.
I came in have NO IDEA what I was looking for and they helped me to narrow my focus and really figure out what I wanted. Very patient and kind staff!!
Although I didn't buy my dress here, I am having the alterations done here, and after just one fitting with Faye (the seamstress), I KNOW my dress is going to fit phenomenally. She is just so full of ideas!
I used Circle the Date's seamstress Faye for alterations on a complicated wedding dress and she was phenomenal! I could not say enough about her. She explained things very well and was always thinking outside the box of how to make my dress fit perfectly. She understood what being a muscular person meant and how to make my dress fit comfortably on my body type. One thing she really explained well is that a train on a dress is meant to be on the ground and a bustle might fail. But, better to have the bustle fail than to have the dress fail. She was totally right. Within 10 minutes of getting the bustle put up my new husband stepped on it trying to walk into the reception through a tight area and it failed. We tried to pin it up, but ended up just dancing the night away holding onto it and that was just fine. There is a reason Faye is busy; she knows her stuff. But, my dress fit amazingly and I didn't know my dress didn't fit right until she tweaked a few things and it was a whole new dress.
But, understand if you buy a dress too small there is not as much that any seamstress can do to make it fit, but with the slightly extra material a seamstress can make it fit you perfectly. And don't expect that something can happen instantly, quality work takes some time.
But, all the Circle the Date staff were super fun to hang out with when I stopped in many times for fittings and to get a bridesmaids and mother of the brides dress altered.
"We aren't in the business of stealing veils." No, but they are in the business of having terrible customer service. Lost the veil, accused the bride, screwed up half the tuxes, grooms tux lost a button, brides dress not altered properly. Can't even apologize properly. 0/10
Great little shop. They have many great dresses and tuxes. Don't get table cloths from there though. Many of the table clothes we rented were stained including the new ones. The employee even pointed out a blood stain while she sorted through the table cloths.
I had heard really great things about this store, and ended up being very disappointed with the service I received. When I called to make my appointment, they had told me there would be a little overlap between me and another bride, so I may have to start on my own until the other bride was done, which would be no more than a half an hour. I told them this was no problem, I could get started on my own. I did have to start on my own, and there was both a bride and bridesmaids trying on dresses when I arrived. Once the other bride was done (which was almost exactly a half an hour after I started), I was the only person in the store and was moved into the bigger area, however, no one stayed with me to help me try on the dresses. I spent at least 2-3 minutes in between dresses waiting for someone to come help me zip up the dress or tie it if it was a corset back, and at this time I was the only person in the store with 4 workers standing at the front of the store. I became increasingly more frustrated, as I was there for about an hour after the other bride left, and ended up just taking off the dress I had on and leaving.
I had a dress from a different store I loved and wanted, and after looking through pictures from my visit to Circle the Date, realized I had tried on the same dress here (it was the last dress I had on that I ended up just taking off before leaving the store). While the price was about $160 cheaper at Circle the Date, I decided the extra money was worth spending to get the dress at another store due to the lack of service at Circle the Date.
I got into town THE DAY BEFORE my sisters wedding, and found a hole in my bridesmaid dress. I needed to get a few inches hemmed off, and they were so awesome. I cannot thank them enough. They were super busy but still said they could squeeze it in. It was finished and ready to be picked up 3 hours later. Their rates were super reasonable too. And they didn't even charge me a rush fee.. Awesome people.
Our bridal party got their tuxes here. They were very professional and friendly. The groom got his tux free due to there being other tuxes purchased for the wedding. Most of the tuxes did not fit completely right at the start. They got them the right sizes with plenty of time to spare before the wedding. And those boys looked spiffy!
Both mothers got their gowns altered here. They were both very happy with the seamstress!
We could pop in quick with any little question pretty much any time of day...except on Tuesdays! I was really happy with the service we received here. I only wish I had found my wedding gown here!!
They did such a great job not only with the dresses and tuxes but also with all the decorations!!!
Very wonderful and easy to work with. They gave me a good deal on my gown and our entire bridal party looked amazing. Their staff Nikki is the best. Ask for her help when you go.
Jenny (the owner) at Circle the Date was fabulous to work with. She provided great suggestions on various suits and was able to order multiple samples in for the groom to try on prior to the wedding to ensure we found the perfect suits. I would recommend Circle the Date to anyone looking to rent suits/tuxedos for their special day :)
Circle the Date does decoration rentals, decorating, and is a full service Bridal Boutique! I got all of our Tuxes from Circle the Date, rented our decorations from them, and had them decorate the reception hall. They really are a one-stop-shop! It was perfect! The tuxes all fit and looked perfect and the decorations were a huge success! I had candles everywhere along with white lights and when the lights were dimmed it was SOO beautiful! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
