When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding, we determined early on that we wanted someone who was professional, down-to-earth, easy to work with, and great at what they do. We also specifically wanted timeless, effortless, and natural photos. After speaking to about 5+ photographers and not feeling like we found our match, we came across Rich’s work. We immediately fell in love with his photojournalistic approach, his timeless work, and the way in which he captured the raw, authentic, and genuine parts of a wedding day. After our first conversation with Rich, it was clear that we found the photographer we were hoping to find! Rich is not only incredible at what he does behind the camera, but he is also a wonderful person to the core. It was clear that Rich genuinely cares about his couples and wants to do everything he can to make them feel beautiful, comfortable, and happy. Communicating with Rich was easy and stress free. He responded to each email with enthusiasm and professionalism. He never made me feel like I was a bother or that I was asking too many questions, which meant so much to me as a bride. He made the experience fun and effortless, which only made us more confident in our decision to have him as our wedding photographer. About a month leading up to our wedding, Rich communicated with us often and scheduled phone calls with us so that we could go over the flow of the day. This saved us a great deal of time and stress the day of the wedding, and allowed him to do what he does, which is capture the organic, raw, beautiful moments. Rich took the time to ask us which shots we wanted specifically, and he was sure to capture them. He and Greg both brought such a sense of calm the day of our wedding which was so appreciated. They reassured us that everything was going well, and directed us in a way that made it feel natural. They captured all of the moments we wanted, but never made us feel like we were following a script or “plan”. My husband and I could not believe how beautifully they captured our wedding day! From the moment we first spoke to Rich, I knew we had chosen the right wedding photographer. I fell in love with his photography style immediately, and in looking through his portfolio, really capturing the personality of each couple in such a beautifully candid/docu-style and unforced way. Rich was great to work with and captured phenomenal photos of our wedding day. He was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding, answered all of my questions (and I had a lot), and helped us build the timeline for the day of the wedding to ensure we had enough time to get quality photos taken without being rushed. On the day of the wedding, Rich arrived early and was constantly on top of things, including always being near me to snap all the great moments that happened throughout the evening. Rich was so great to work with. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, he was so nice and knew exactly what to do. The schedule of photos for the day of the wedding was so organized and we got all the pictures we wanted! We had originally booked our wedding on July 11, 2020 but had to move it to May 1, 2021 because of COVID. We were lucky he was available on our new date and he accommodated the change with no problem at all. We are so grateful to have had such an experienced photographer, it made the whole day go so smoothly. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos, but we know they will be perfect!

Rich Ciro was simply incredible. Our wedding was originally scheduled for May 2020 with 500 people, and ended up being in January 2021 with 19 people. Rich was a ray of sunshine throughout the difficult rescheduling process. During every phone call he was efficient and upbeat, helping us feel like everything would work out smoothly in the end. On wedding day, he was a joy to work with. He was unbelievably efficient, making himself unobtrusive when needed but also orchestrating everyone's movements quickly and effectively. He rolled with every hiccup of weather or organization as if he had designed things that way to begin with. He treated every new photographable moment or object as something both delightfully unexpected and wholly prepared for, expressing childlike enthusiasm while moving with the grace and speed of a well-oiled machine. To be fair, we have not yet received our wedding photos, but the previews he showed us on wedding day were stunning and I am very eager to see the rest!

Wow! Ciro Photography is absolutely amazing. Our wedding photos were beyond our expectations. They photos were absolute masterpieces, the photos were spectacular and captured every moment and more from our amazing day. From the moment we met Rich, we knew he was the photographer we were meant to have. He’s extremely responsive, friendly, understanding, and an expert in his field. We were very nervous for our engagement session but he instantly made us feel extremely comfortable - he tells you exactly what to do, helps you relax, and guides you through the process. When we got the photos back we were amazed at how natural, beautiful and captivating the photos were. It was my dream to have Ciro Photography photograph my wedding from the first time I saw his work, and I am so thrilled my dream came true! Having Ciro photography photograph my wedding was one of my favorite memories of the day! Many have told Me taking pictures on your wedding day could be chaotic or stressful so I prepared my self..but ciro was the complete opposite..it truly was the most romantic, serene, and special moments of the day, aside from there organization and professionalism my pictures are nothing short of AMAZING!! I love how they are candid and raw and they totally just capture the moment..Rich is the nicest guy and is so attentive, always there to talk making your life easier leading up to and on the day of! My husband and I worked with Rich and his team on our wedding day at The Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn and we could not have been happier. Rich is so extremely wonderful to work with. He is the perfect combination of easy-going and pleasant while still being able to manage and direct a crowd of 40 family members for a large photo while even still able to be artistic throughout the day. My husband and I got married at the Garrison 5/19/18 on a rainy, foggy day. I was disappointed because I thought that I was going to be missing out on a lot of picture opportunities but Rich was amazing! He was able to recommend some awesome places to go for our first look and family photos and with his artistic vision he took some very unique and amazing shots. Both Rich and his assistant were so unobtrusive through out the whole night that at times I forgot we were being photographed which led to him getting very candid, natural looking photos. Wedding was 9/4/2016. When my fiancé and I began our wedding planning, the one thing we were absolutely certain of was that we wanted a great photographer. We got that and more working with Rich of "Ciro Photography". The day we met with Rich, we had scheduled a few interviews with other photographers. Let me put it this way, after meeting with Rich within a few minutes I decided he would be the person to capture those memorable moments from our wedding. We cancelled the appointments we had scheduled after him. That was pretty bold on my part because usually I don't make snap decisions like that; but I was sold on his upbeat personality, style, portfolio and his overall approach. I felt comfortable, he answered questions I wasn't even sure how to put into words. Seeing his work, made me feel comfortable in knowing that he would bring talent and creativity to our special day.. The images from our best day ever came out better that I ever could have imagined! Rich photographed our wedding in the month of October, and the experience was wonderful! He is such a warm, down to earth person who is passionate about his work. My husband and I were married July 2nd this year at Glen Island Harbour club. Perfect wedding! One of the integral pieces was our lovely photographer Rich Janniello from Ciro Photography. Working with Rich for my September 10th wedding was an absolute dream. From the day I contacted him with an inquiry (over a year before my wedding date) I immediately felt comfortable with him. He came recommended to me from a friend of a friend, whose pictures were absolutely beautiful. Throughout the planning process, Rich spoke with me multiple times on the phone and offered so much valuable information about timeliness for photos, etc. My fiancé and I initially booked an Engagement session within our wedding package, however we live in CT, and Rich even offered to meet us halfway between his town and ours for the shoot. On the day of our wedding, Rich and his second photographer showed up early (without my asking) and spent the entire time taking photos. During the night of the wedding, Rich or his associate were constantly by my and my husband's side to snap whatever photo we requested and I know they captured all the little details of the night as well. Although I have not received my pictures yet, I know they will be absolutely beautiful.

Rich made my not-so-picture-loving husband feel so comfortable! We felt like ourselves the entire time which was very important to us. No awkward poses or pictures.
