I fell in love with his photography style immediately, and in looking through his portfolio, really capturing the personality of each couple in such a beautifully candid/docu-style and unforced way. What sealed the deal was our initial conversation and understanding his process, sincerity and professionalism. We first met at the engagement shoot and just had a blast! Rich made us feel so comfortable and very quickly, our personalities started to come out which Rich captured so beautifully. On the day of the wedding, Rich and his second photographer were so wonderful, professional and made us feel just so special. When it comes to your wedding photography, there's no need to look further than Rich!

Rich was great to work with and captured phenomenal photos of our wedding day. He was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding, answered all of my questions (and I had a lot), and helped us build the timeline for the day of the wedding to ensure we had enough time to get quality photos taken without being rushed. On the day of the wedding, Rich arrived early and was constantly on top of things, including always being near me to snap all the great moments that happened throughout the evening. We were not prepared for how amazing the photos would turn out and how many special moments he had captured without us even knowing. Rich is the best!! We are absolutely stunned by how beautiful our wedding photos turned out. Rich was so great to work with. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, he was so nice and knew exactly what to do. The schedule of photos for the day of the wedding was so organized and we got all the pictures we wanted! We had originally booked our wedding on July 11, 2020 but had to move it to May 1, 2021 because of COVID. We were lucky he was available on our new date and he accommodated the change with no problem at all. We are so grateful to have had such an experienced photographer, it made the whole day go so smoothly. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos, but we know they will be perfect!

Rich Ciro was simply incredible. Our wedding was originally scheduled for May 2020 with 500 people, and ended up being in January 2021 with 19 people. Rich was a ray of sunshine throughout the difficult rescheduling process. During every phone call he was efficient and upbeat, helping us feel like everything would work out smoothly in the end. On wedding day, he was a joy to work with. He was unbelievably efficient, making himself unobtrusive when needed but also orchestrating everyone's movements quickly and effectively. He rolled with every hiccup of weather or organization as if he had designed things that way to begin with. He treated every new photographable moment or object as something both delightfully unexpected and wholly prepared for, expressing childlike enthusiasm while moving with the grace and speed of a well-oiled machine. To be fair, we have not yet received our wedding photos, but the previews he showed us on wedding day were stunning and I am very eager to see the rest!

Wow! Ciro Photography is absolutely amazing. Our wedding photos were beyond our expectations. They photos were absolute masterpieces, the photos were spectacular and captured every moment and more from our amazing day. From the moment we met Rich, we knew he was the photographer we were meant to have. He’s extremely responsive, friendly, understanding, and an expert in his field. We were very nervous for our engagement session but he instantly made us feel extremely comfortable - he tells you exactly what to do, helps you relax, and guides you through the process. When we got the photos back we were amazed at how natural, beautiful and captivating the photos were. He has such a special gift of being able to capture these perfect moments in just the right way that you can actually feel the emotion when you look at the photo. It was my dream to have Ciro Photography photograph my wedding from the first time I saw his work, and I am so thrilled my dream came true! Having Ciro photography photograph my wedding was one of my favorite memories of the day! Many have told Me taking pictures on your wedding day could be chaotic or stressful so I prepared my self..but ciro was the complete opposite..it truly was the most romantic, serene, and special moments of the day, aside from there organization and professionalism my pictures are nothing short of AMAZING!! I love how they are candid and raw and they totally just capture the moment..Rich is the nicest guy and is so attentive, always there to talk making your life easier leading up to and on the day of! My husband and I worked with Rich and his team on our wedding day at The Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn and we could not have been happier. Rich is so extremely wonderful to work with. He is the perfect combination of easy-going and pleasant while still being able to manage and direct a crowd of 40 family members for a large photo while even still able to be artistic throughout the day. My husband and I got married at the Garrison 5/19/18 on a rainy, foggy day. I was disappointed because I thought that I was going to be missing out on a lot of picture opportunities but Rich was amazing! He was able to recommend some awesome places to go for our first look and family photos and with his artistic vision he took some very unique and amazing shots. Both Rich and his assistant were so unobtrusive through out the whole night that at times I forgot we were being photographed which led to him getting very candid, natural looking photos. Wedding was 9/4/2016. When my fiancé and I began our wedding planning, the one thing we were absolutely certain of was that we wanted a great photographer. We got that and more working with Rich of "Ciro Photography". The day we met with Rich, we had scheduled a few interviews with other photographers. Let me put it this way, after meeting with Rich within a few minutes I decided he would be the person to capture those memorable moments from our wedding. We cancelled the appointments we had scheduled after him. That was pretty bold on my part because usually I don't make snap decisions like that; but I was sold on his upbeat personality, style, portfolio and his overall approach. I felt comfortable, he answered questions I wasn't even sure how to put into words. Seeing his work, made me feel comfortable in knowing that he would bring talent and creativity to our special day.. He is reliable, responds timely to emails, he creates an atmosphere that's calm at times when I would otherwise be anxious/nervous. The images from our best day ever came out better that I ever could have imagined! Rich photographed our wedding in the month of October, and the experience was wonderful! He is such a warm, down to earth person who is passionate about his work. My husband and I were married July 2nd this year at Glen Island Harbour club. Perfect wedding! One of the integral pieces was our lovely photographer Rich Janniello from Ciro Photography. Working with Rich for my September 10th wedding was an absolute dream. From the day I contacted him with an inquiry (over a year before my wedding date) I immediately felt comfortable with him. He came recommended to me from a friend of a friend, whose pictures were absolutely beautiful. Throughout the planning process, Rich spoke with me multiple times on the phone and offered so much valuable information about timeliness for photos, etc. My fiancé and I initially booked an Engagement session within our wedding package, however we live in CT, and Rich even offered to meet us halfway between his town and ours for the shoot. On the day of our wedding, Rich and his second photographer showed up early (without my asking) and spent the entire time taking photos. During the night of the wedding, Rich or his associate were constantly by my and my husband's side to snap whatever photo we requested and I know they captured all the little details of the night as well. Although I have not received my pictures yet, I know they will be absolutely beautiful.

I knew after seeing Rich's website that I wanted him as my photographer. After meeting him in person, I was only more convinced. In 2011 Rich Janniello of Ciro Photography shot my daughter’s wedding. Her pictures were amazing!!! The service was second to none!!! At the time I was single but knew that whenever “Mr. Right” came along and no matter where in the world I was, Ciro Photography was going to be my photographer of choice. Luck was on my side and in 20014 it was my time to tie the knot. It is the norm for the brides and grooms to choose a date which is most convenient for them or for sentimental reasons. I decided on my date based on when Rich Janniello of Ciro photography was going to be available. There is no way I was going to trust anyone else to capture the special moments of my day because Rich Janniello is TRIED & TRUE. On the day of our wedding Rich arrived at my house early so he could get shots of me while I get ready. You could not tell he was there; he was almost invisible as he was not in my way in the least bit. I was somewhat nervous at first as I tried so hard to have the perfect smile. Rich’s warm and caring personality soon created an atmosphere that was comfortable. It put me at ease and so I could be myself. Rich left my house within reasonable time to get to the church so he could capture my husband and our guests as they arrived. Like magic, the moment I stepped out of the car at the church Rich was right there to photograph me in the moment. Because Rich is so familiar with the New York area he knew the perfect spot to take us for beautiful pictures after the ceremony. One moment that stands out most in my mind is; while driving on the highway to get to the location we had selected to take pictures, Rich drove up beside us in the adjacent lane and captured a shot of my husband and I in our car. The car was a convertible so that picture gives you the illusion of something that was photographed in the 60s. It looks like something straight out of a movie. The shot is PRICELESS!!! Rich was with us to the end of our reception he captured all the significant and precious moments, not to mention those unexpected ones. Our pictures came out beautifully. The color and lighting……PERFECTION!!! We get so many compliments on our wedding photos. We hear all the time how amazing they are and that look like they belong in a magazine. Rich was the photographer for my friend's wedding back in August 2010. After seeing her photos and hearing her experience, I knew that I wanted him to do the photography for my wedding as well! He was the first vendor that I called after I got engaged and started planning. We also took engagement photos with him. Rich has extensive experience and takes beautiful photographs. He is very personable and easy to work with. He's got great ideas and offers very professional, knowledgeable advice. He made our wedding party feel at ease during the day and even made the awkward shots fun and playful for my husband and me. While I haven't received my wedding photos yet (they aren't late, I'm just still in his turnaround time frame) my engagement ones were beautiful. The engagement ones were ready right away & he captured a lot great moments. He is very nice and super easy to work with. He made the shoots fun and brought great energy as well. My husband felt awkward having his picture taken at 1st but Rich made it fun. Day of he was wonderful. He takes great pics really quickly, which believe me you will want. He also doesn't make you do cheesy poses. We felt free to be our silly selves and just have him snap away. His assistant was a lot of fun as well. All in all they made everyone feel comfortable & we had a great time.

We worked with Rich for our wedding in May 2009. His beautiful photos just captured our imagination, and we were so excited to have him photograph our special day. His amazing results started with our engagement session in Central Park. We were so happy with the gorgeous results of just a few hours walking around the park. It was so much fun. Rich is THE best photographer around! he was more than willing to help out in any way... whether it was suggesting other vendors or helping to pull together our timeline for the day. he was such a pleasure to work with-- really down to earth, sweet and guess most important when choosing a photographer- he has a unbelievable eye! his photos speak for themselves!!

Where do we begin… We were referred to Rich by a family member when we were in search of a wedding photographer. After our initial meeting with Rich, we immediately knew he was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer! Not only is Rich talented and his work exquisite, but the experience of working with him is memorable in itself. We decided to take engagement photos a few months before the wedding; walking through Central Park felt like we were just enjoying a beautiful afternoon in the city. When Amanda and I got engaged, it was not the normal engagement; we knew we had something special. My name is Jerry, my wife and I met five years ago in college and only about a year after I decided to ask her to be my wife. We had our amazing wedding at Clarks Landing this past June of 2012, meaning we had a four year engagement. Rich is an unbelievably talented photographer who has a great eye and great timing. He is somehow in multiple places at the same time and you barely even know he is there. I was a little skeptical when he said he wasn't using a second photographer for our huge Indian wedding, but he really doesn't need one. He is amazing all by himself. The wedding photos we got were just stunning. People are always blown away when they see our pictures. In terms of value, the amount of *stuff* that Rich gives you in a standard package really blows the competition out of the water. On a personal level, Rich really goes above and beyond for his clients. For instance, he worked a 12 hour + day for our wedding...and it was his birthday. Using Rich Janiello of Ciro Photography was one of the best decisions we made for one of the most important days of our lives. At this point I have worked with Rich from engagement photos to wedding album. Yes, how he is on wedding day is important and the photos are certainly important, but so is all the post-wedding business--very much so. Rich is personal, passionate and professional. He makes you feel like you are his only client, even though he's certainly dealing with many other couples at the same time. Rich was very welcoming and easy to work with. I recommend an engagement session so you get comfortable posing. It makes you more comfortable on the wedding day. I gave him a huge "must take" photo list and he took most of them! He took a big variety of shots from details to fun reception candids, to the posed family pictures and tons and tons of my husband and I on the grounds of the reception place. Don't be afraid to emphasize what you do and don't want in photos. Rich will work with you. He took photos non-stop all day. My whole family loved him that day. He made me actually look pretty in some photos...and I am not photogenic. My friends looked at my photos and said I was lucky to have him! Rich does all he can to make you happy. There was one photo I was disappointed with and he was able to photoshop it to make it work. Amazing that he even took the time to do that. You are not going to love every single picture he shoots--but that is only because he shoots about 1500 photos and some are better than others. He is so good at setting up nice posed shots but also at capturing those little candid moments that you don't always notice at the wedding. I fell in love with Rich's photos because his pictures hone in on the emotions people are feeling and expressing on the wedding day. I have talked to Rich so many times over the past few months about our albums. He offers suggestions, but honors the fact that the albums are yours. He spends so much time creating your album...it's incredible. He sends you a preview...and asks for your feedback, again and again. Many photographers don't do that. Rich is passionate about his photography and his albums and will not rest until you, the client, are happy. But sometimes you just have to trust his professional opinion and reasoning (he explains it to you). He knows what he's talking about. Rich is talented, meticulous, takes great pride in his work and is a very very nice man. You will not find a more dedicated photographer.

Rich from Ciro photography was so great! First of all, he is the nicest guy to work with and more importantly, I am the LEAST photogenic person and he made my husband and I look like we had modeled for years. I was so happy he convinced us to do an engagement shoot, it just made us more comfortable on our wedding day and confident to follow his directions because we had already seen great results. All of our photos really suit our personality. Our wedding location was dark and romantic, which is challenging for a photographer, but his use of flash was perfect and barely noticeable. I couldn't have asked for more: we have AMAZING photos, he listened to our needs, gave us direction when necessary and sent us the most beautiful package of memories we will always treasure. Rich is an awesome photographer! He captures the most intimate moments of your life (you forget there's photographer taking photos). Rich captured the emotions of not only me and my husband during our wedding, but also the guest. When I look at my photos I am in aw of the love that surrounded us on our wedding day. As a bride there was so much to do, the wedding day goes by so fast having Rich as our photographer was a blessing. My photos are to die for, I could not have asked for more!

I knew Rich would be fantastic the first time I spoke with him for almost an hour on the phone. I am so glad that I trusted my gut and booked him for our wedding. Last August, Hurricane Irene threatened to ruin our big day at the Jersey Shore. She hit 24 hours beforehand and to say those hours leading up to the wedding were chaotic is a gross understatement. I was overwhelmed by Rich's professionalism, understanding, compassion, and talent. Our pictures are stunning and I get tears in my eyes every time we look at them and relive the day. I've been in several weddings and I think it's imperative to find a photographer that not only takes great pictures but knows how to work well with people. Unfortunately many can't do both. However Rich Ciro can. I've never met a photographer so passionate about his career and how was so helpful throughout the day. He was so excited to be with my family and get great pictures. My bridal party loved him as well because he took suggestions on pictures they wanted to do and was MORE than happy to get them. At my reception he even went out on a kids rowboat to get the perfect shot of me and my hubby in a canoe! He was simply awesome to work with and was great about not being in your face.
