Weddings, to me, are about your unique narrative, your origin stories and your threads of connection; the ways in which you’ve woven a love through a tapestry of compassion and inspiration and all that makes you you— both as individuals and as a couple. That’s the fabric of the photo, the material I like to work with; because of this, my photos lean atmospheric and candid.
My methods are organic, and intentional. I favor cinematic imagery that shows life in the process of living.
You see, it is nothing less than joy-making to be a purveyor and seeker of spark and sparkle, to capture the overtly special—the first dance, the cutting of the cake—to the more subdued glimmers in the corners. I will follow your wedding’s arc, from the rising crescendo and first glances down the aisle to the last whispers of a piano; that single shimmering grain of rice in your best friend’s hair; the final flare of a sparkler, lighting your way (yep, we’re going there) to your happily ever after. I’d be outright honored to offer my eye and heart in service to the enchantment that surrounds the joining of your families in celebration and love.

Hannah was incredible. We hired her for our coastal Maine wedding in 2024 and I couldn't not recommend her enough. We loved her style and she made everyone feel very comfortable and we love our photos. Would hire Hannah again in a heartbeat.

Hannah was incredible, my husband, our guests, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She blended seamlessly with the crowd throughout our entire wedding weekend and the pictures are stunning! We had some pretty major last-minute schedule changes due to unforeseen circumstances, Hannah was so gracious and able to accommodate us despite the last-minute chaos. Her work is beautiful & she was an absolute delight to work with. Cannot recommend Hannah & Citrine Pictures enough!

I can't say enough good things about Hannah. For me, we were a perfect match. She is someone who I could see being part of my friends and family - and that made all the difference when talking with her leading up to the wedding and also having her around us every part of our wedding day. She has a wonderfully kind and patient energy, but she is also firm where she needs to be (and photographers need to be, especially when things get crazy!).
Our wedding involved TONS of different locations, moving parts, people, and cultural traditions. Hannah dealt with all of it like a pro. And even though I haven't seen any of the photos yet, I'm sure they will capture it all beautifully.
I have absolutely no complaints and am so excited to see her work.

We loved having Hannah as our wedding photographer! Start to finish it was a wonderful experience. From our first meeting, where she asked thoughtful questions and helped us think through how we wanted to document the day, we knew we made the right choice. She came and photographed everyone getting ready, and from the start she helped us all feel so comfortable being photographed. She was great with my family and put everyone at ease. My wife and I love the portraits she took of us in and old Esplanade mansion, and she worked with the weird lighting and old space to make it beautiful. The ceremony was outside, and we love the photos of us and we especially love the sweet pictures of the guests! Hannah took such wonderful candid pictures of our family and friends during the ceremony, they are such a perfect reminder of all the love from the day. Then the editing process was so quick and easy, we love the way she curated our photos, made an easy link to share, and the printing and ordering process was a breeze. We will cherish these pictures and recommend Hannah to anyone!

We loved Hannah's kindness, calm presence, and
"fly on the wall" style of shooting photos. She was a subtle and quiet photographer, she never charged into the middle of people's intimate moments or got in front of folks trying to watch/listen to our ceremony. Her photos are mainly candid and full of warmth, but also very beautiful. She was willing to cover as much or a little of our wedding day as we wanted, and was very prompt on her arrival. She even stayed later than expected, clearly enjoying the vibe!
One reason I give her a four instead of a five is that I did not like the style of a few of her photos, which seemed overexposed, but on purpose to create a brighter, paler look to the scene. I prefer deeper colors if possible, like fully saturated.

My husband and I hired Hannah last summer to shoot our wedding. She has such a genuine, calming way about her, which is exactly what we needed on such a wild day. She worked our wedding alone, but looking at the pictures you would think she is everywhere at once. Without interrupting our ceremony she got the most beautiful shots from all angles, I have no idea how she did it. Her framing is great and she has an always has a feel for where she should be. I wanted our wedding pictures to look like the day felt and not posed or staged, and when we got them back they evoke the whole event just right.
Hannah is an absolute gem, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Hannah and Ethan were a dream to work with. We chose them based on their beautiful portfolio, had the pleasure to get to know Hannah before the wedding and were blown away by the final product we've received. They perfectly captured not only the emotion on our wedding day, but the natural beauty of the surroundings. We wanted a natural, more documentary type feel infused with artful moments and we got back so much more. As a wedding planner, I've worked with many photographers and I can honestly say the Citrine Pictures team is one of the best!
Hannah was super easy to work with and on the wedding day, was cool, calm and collected. This is especially important because it allowed our couple to enjoy the day as it unfolded without feeling rushed or stressed. Hannah established a great connection with our couple, which is evident in the photos she took - both the bride and groom look comfortable in front of the camera and totally natural - I have no doubt much of that is due to Hannah's expertise.

In choosing my wedding vendors, I wanted to hire people who are great at their jobs, but I also wanted to hire people I liked. Hannah is a gifted photographer and a practicing artist. She is also an interesting and empathetic person. All of this – her skill and creativity, as well as her sensitivity and warmth, come shining through in my wedding photos.
We didn’t want overly posed formal shots, but were more interested in having photographs that captured what it felt like to be a part of this important moment in our lives. Hannah is really unobtrusive, but she was always at the right place at the right time to capture the perfect shot. She has a great eye for detail, especially for the plant life and flowers that make our city such a beautiful place. She did a fantastic job carving out moving moments from the flurry of events. And she managed to help my husband and I – two introverts who do not love having our pictures taken – feel comfortable throughout. Hannah truly went above and beyond, taking the time to make sure she gave us photographs that we will cherish – because they feel like us. Do not hesitate to hire her.

We were fortunate to have Hannah photograph our July 2016 wedding. She was wonderful to work with and the pictures captured our event's fun vibe. I don't care much to have my photo taken, but Hannah was masterful at getting me to relax and enjoy it; and the photographs turned out lovely. We loved working with Hannah for our maternity photos, and the pictures turned out gorgeous and exactly what we had hoped for! We chose Hannah because we didn't want the traditional style of maternity photos that I've seen everywhere - she has a candid, natural, journalistic style that I wanted to have captured and she did exactly that! She was totally open to where we wanted to shoot, and made great suggestions for us since my husband and I are so new to the area. She had our pictures back to us so quickly, knowing that we needed to get holiday cards sent out, which we appreciated so much! We would choose Hannah again in a heartbeat - she is so kind, easy to work with, and incredibly talented!!

Hannah is kind, relaxed, and takes beautiful photographs. She is just a pleasure to work with. She listens to what you'd like, sets clear expectations, has a great eye, is flexible. Hannah's demeanor makes it easy for her to interact with wedding guests, family, friends, everyone. Hannah (Citrine Pictures) came all the way to Sardinia, IT to photograph our wedding- and we are ecstatic that she did! The experience was like having a good friend by our side capturing every moment with an artful eye. Hannah is professional and very skilled, she delivered loads of beautiful well edited photos shortly after our wedding- amazing also with all the flexibility required to travel to Sardinia. Looking at the photos I feel like she was able to capture us and our friends and family in our element. We love to flip through the album she made for us and poignantly relive the emotions of that day. You won’t find a better photographer anywhere!

The photos Hannah took are incredibly lovely. She captured the scene, the mood, our families, and our emotions. Before the event, Hannah was in touch with us regularly to make sure she understood our expectations and the logistics of the event. On the day of the event, she was everywhere. She managed to make the rain work in our favor, and there have never been better pictures of the dance party than the ones she took. She has terrific equipment, timing, and is a pleasure to work with

Hannah is everything you need in a wedding photographer. She is very kind. She listens. She gets great candid photos. She becomes a part of the party very easily and naturally, and, because of this, is able to be there when a great photo moment arises. She moves seamlessly and discreetly through the crowd. Hannah asks exactly what you want in terms of aesthetic, etc. and delivers exactly that. She loves capturing the arc of the day's events. It was so much fun to have Hannah as a photographer!
