I worked with Kim Minton for my wedding reception. The food was absolutely exceptional and every detail was perfect. At the beginning, we had a wonderful tasting at a City Barbeque location and got to meet Kim. She was so personable and easy to contact throughout the whole process. She paid special attention to the details, my timeline, and other details such as placing my cake topper and bringing out a cupcake at the perfect time for my husband and I to sing happy birthday to his mother. Her and her partners worked so hard and never stopped the entire time. I can’t say enough how perfect the food was. Also, the food was all packed up very clean and nice for us to take home when all said and done. Would highly recommend. It was a great experience.

City BBQ catered our wedding and they were such a hit! The staff were friendly and organized, and the food was phenomenal. We had a lot of guests from out of the country and they really enjoyed the novelty of the American BBQ. They're definitely a fun alternative to traditional wedding food!

We had the best experience with City BBQ! Kim was so helpful and really listened to all the details of exactly what we wanted for our wedding reception. Communication was effortless. The day of was flawless and the ladies working the event went above and beyond with helping to bus tables and cut the cake! Everyone enjoyed the food and it fit our budget.

I am sitting here 3 months after our wedding eating some delicious leftover tacquitos from last night's dinner that we made with frozen pulled chicken leftover from our wedding night and thinking about what an amazing choice we made in terms of wedding caterers. Our food was delicious, everything they did fit our laid back but classy theme, and they packed us up with enough leftovers for lunch the next day and to supplement a meal or two three months later. Seriously, way more than any other caterer was offering. Thank you so much!!!

City barbecue was awesome! Lillie and her team went above and beyond and did EVERYTHING and more than we asked for! We received so many compliments on the the food and hot cocoa stand for our winter wedding. They were so helpful in the planning process and we always felt completely taken care of. Couldn't recommend Lillie and City Barbeque enough!

THE BEST CATERING EVER!!!!! Thank you so much for being part of our big day! When we were interested in getting City BBQ catering, they treated us like royalty! We absolutely LOVED the tasting that was set up at the Blue Ash restaurant with Kim Minton and team. We were spoiled with being able to try everything on the menu. This was so fantastic because we were able to try things we had never had before. We discovered we LOVED the smoked turkey and gumbo, and we ordered both for our event. It was so easy to set up the order with Kim and even submit changes when preparing for the event. We got the full-service catering, which included the set up and clearing of plates, etc. and it was the best decision ever! The staff on the day of the event were so organized, set up everything perfectly and timely, and were so friendly to us and our guests! They checked in with me to make sure everything was perfect. When we were dancing, everything was cleaned up, leftovers were packaged, and more. I can't recommend City BBQ enough! Best decision for catering...and can't wait to order again sometime soon! Our guests wouldn't stop talking about how great the food and staff were! Thank you so much!

City BBQ was absolutely amazing! From the tasting, to picking out our menu to making all the final details - everything was such a breeze. On top of that the food was delicious! All of our guests loved the food!! They also packaged up all the leftovers for us so that we did not have to deal with that, which was super helpful! I would recommend them over and over again and I am so glad we had them as part of our day!

City BBQ was amazing! Our venue was rustic and City BBQ went perfectly. We received many compliments on how delicious the food was and most people said they went back for 2nds or even 3rds! The catering staff was very friendly and even helped us set up our cupcake table-how sweet is that?! We would definitely recommend

not to brag but our wedding was pretty cool! Lots of Games, Food, Beer and Sugary Snacks! But when I asked people what was their favorite part was, their answer was always the FOOD! People went crazy over the sides and the brisket. "best food I've ever had at a wedding". As a bride, City BBQ was the easiest vendor we worked with. Being from the Cincinnati area we had lots of BBQ options, but City BBQ was the winner because they were so easy to get ahold of, most reliable and had the best prices. I'll admit I wasn't the easiest bride to work with, but with all the changes I made they were always accommodating! City BBQ was the best decision we made.

I highly recommend City BBQ for your wedding catering!! They were so easy to work with and plan our menu! We of course started with out tasting which was courtesy of City BBQ and left our stomachs beyond stuffed with leftovers to take home! Then after picking a menu - we worked with Kate to finalize numbers and she assured the perfect amount of food. City BBQ also did my appetizers - a fruit plate, vegetables, crackers, cheese, and meat. They did a great job setting up our event and ensuring our buffet style layout was set the whole time. They did a hog for us which was also nicely displayed. A couple servers made sure to check in with me (the bride) to ensure I did not need anything else and to make sure all was going how I wanted. The food was delicious - we had zero complaints only raving reviews from guests! Everything was warm and delicious! I also had City BBQ cut my cake so I didn't have to worry about that either. Overall I would definitely recommend City BBQ especially for an outdoor backyard wedding. My guests count was about 160 which they managed great. My food layout was also appealing which I greatly appreciated!

City barbecue in highland heights catered our rehearsal dinner. Such any easy stress free process. They were prompt had everything we needed, had plenty of food, set up everything for us and even left their cooler to keep the potato salad in to keep it cold. We are still enjoying left overs :) definitely recommend!

These guys were WONDERFUL! from the time we set up our taste test through the whole craziness of the wedding. Every email and phone call was answered very quickly and all our questions were answered. When it came to food day of i had no worries at all I knew there team had it! The staff they had was very polite and very helpful/ accommodating. The helped serve even the extra things we brought (appetizer trays, drinks and the cake) and they cleaned up for us and packed the left overs! if your looking for BBQ we highly recommend!

They ran out of food before all our guests went through the buffet line. They had to rush out to the nearest store and get more. We had our guests eat while we took our photos after the ceremony and so we asked them to plate our wedding party plates with food and they did a nice job having all of that ready. They also went around asking us if we needed more of anything as we were eating.

City Barbeque staff was so easy to work with and very flexible. Their prices were reasonable, they came to set up our food and they took the hot plates back with them so there was no need for us to drop anything off. We would definitely use them again for another event.

We used City BBQ for our 150 person wedding reception at Rhinegeist. Katie was so easy to work with (even responding to changes the day before). They came the day before to check out the place and her team the night of were so friendly and accommodating. Their presentation of the food was great - and obviously the food was amazing! I definitely recommend using them for any event!

We had our rehearsal dinner catered by CityBBQ. The food is wonderful, they set it all up & it was affordable. Would definitely use their catering again!

I used City Barbeque for my outdoor country themed wedding on July 6, 2013. The menu variety they offer for catering is incredble, ranging from traditional barbeque, chicken, or even lasagna and salads if you have picky guests. They delivered to my very remote location with no problem and set every thing up n a very orderly and timely fashion. We were under a very strict budget which they worked with me on and offered to not do a full serve even and allow my guests to serve them selves with saved us money and time in the end. I would use their services again in a heartbeat! The food tasted like Grandmas cooking! Love it!

We got married on may 11 and used city BBQ for our rehearsal dinner! It was amazing! From the time we called to talk to them about it they were extremely helpful! The service they have was amazing and so was the food! And they brought more than enough!

If you like going to the restaurant City Barbeque, you would love them as a caterer. It was just as fresh and hot as if you were at the actual restaurant-- and we had out wedding outdoors

I found the person taking the orders a bit scattered and never quite left me feeling secure that the order would right and it would be delivered on time. We opted for a delivery and drop of food and we had friends serve and clean up for the rehearsal dinner. Overall the food was good... I just didn't like that the process always felt disconnected.

They catered my wedding it was great.

City BBQ catered the food at our wedding and did a great job! The food was amazing and everyone loved it! Their prices are much cheaper than expected and because of it we were able to afford the city deluxe package which includes 3 meats, 4 sides, assorted drinks, plates, silverware, napkins, and set up/tear down. Food was prepared on time, warm and the servers were helpful and friendly!

We actually used the City BBQ in Dayton. Food was excellent - but they were 30 minutes late on delivery. We had to postpone dinner and luckily we had hired people to serve drinks and restock food...because if they were not there to help the guy set up - it would have been an hour late. I was very disappointed. But, the food was good. Lots of comments on how delicious the food was.

Our original reception plan was changed 3 weeks before the wedding when the location burnt down! We quickly made a plan B and chose City Barbeque (originally our rehearsal dinner plan) as our reception catering. We had around 300 guests, and everything was simply perfect! The food was amazing and the service exceptional. Thanks for making our day so fun and delicious! :)
