City Barbeque

The day of our wedding we had to move everything inside because of the rain. City BBQ was supposed to set up at 4:00 but guest were arriving at the same location because we were all in one building and it was one open room. They waited until happy hour to set up after the wedding ceremony. It was fantastic and worked out wonderful. Everyone talked about how fantastic the food was. Everything was perfect!

We loved the City BBQ catering experience. We did the delivery and set-up for our wedding. It was a super easy process. Food was warm, delicious and presentation was great. We were very satisfied!

We used City BBQ for our rehearsal dinner catering, and it was a great decision! They made the whole process so simple, and the food was great.

The delivery and setup was on time and done with the upmost professionalism despite the chaos occurring in the background as we were getting the wedding party fully situated into the AirBnB and acquainted with each other. The food was good. I had no complaints from anyone. Leftovers were plentiful (I tend to over-order) and fared well for the next day while the wedding party was getting ready.

Outstanding job! The servers were amazing - so helpful and cheerful. Food was excellent! Everything was hot and replenished quickly throughout the evening. The rustic lemonade stand was so fun and a hit with the guests. 10 out of 10 would hire again.

We used City BBQ for both kids' weddings this summer. Son was married in July and the daughter in September. Having options and a dedicated staff member to coordinate everything was perfect! City's food is terrific, of course, but their service from planning to execution really made the difference.

We had plenty of food, it was hot, on time, and they helped my make a perfect menu for my guest. I would highly suggest using them! Wedding food can be very expensive and they were very affordable. Get the brisket!!

Highly professional, good communication, followed through on everything they said, stayed in contact, friendly staff, food was amazing and it’s a great choice for those who have dietary restrictions. Full plates of food for rehearsal dinner guests and they loved their dinner.

Tori (event specialist) did wonderful at remaining communicative, helpful, and making sure everything went smoothly! We could not be more happy with the turnout of our food for our wedding! The caterers, Anna and Gerry, were so nice, helpful, and stayed on top of EVERYTHING! We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the food was!!!!

We had family and friends coming in from out of town and knew we wanted to order BBQ for our rehearsal dinner. The website was easy, they followed up with a confirmation and then our caterer, Jacob, did a seamless job setting up at our venue, Jorgensen Farms...and brought everything that was needed so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. Literally no mess or fuss. Huge thank you to Jacob and the City BBQ Team!

From the first tasting to our wedding night — Tori and the team were amazing. The care, intention and detail they provided made us feel special and supported. The food was delicious — so much so that several guests went up for seconds. To top it off, you were affordable and made our dream wedding accessible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our food arrived 30 min late. No phone call or email letting us know they were running late. Food was also luke warm, almost cold.

We had a barn reception, and City Barbecue was the perfect fit. People couldn’t stop raving about the food. I knew the food would be good because I eat there all the time. What I didn’t anticipate was the over-the-top service. We were missing a few things at other tables we had set up around the barn, and the servers from City Barbecue supplied all the things we had missed - even though they had nothing to do with the food from the other stations. At one point the guy from City Barbecue asked me if they could help me out with anything else because they were all set up and had some free time. They were all wonderful. I can’t say enough about them. I’ve been a City Barbecue customer for years now. The reason I chose them was the consistently wonderful food and their amazing work ethic I saw when I came to their restaurants. The service was impeccable, speedy, delicious, and gracious. You can’t go wrong with them. Highly recommend!

City BBQ is one of the most affordable caterers you can find, but yet is among the best. The service from planning through the event was top notch, everyone was well-fed, and my DJ said it was his top 5 wedding food experience of all time. I highly recommend City BBQ to any bride—you will not be disappointed.

City Barbeque catered our dinner rehearsal at our home and was so easy and friendly to work with. Our coordinator Tori was amazing and responsive throughout the whole process and was extremely helpful. The day of it was a breeze I literally had to do nothing. Harrison came in set everything up amazingly and made sure everything was labeled. The food was a huge hit and everyone enjoyed all the different options! Everything came with its own packaging, they provided everything down to silverware, napkins, and plates! I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend City Barbeque for any catered event!

Very professional, on time and food was ready for us/guests. The process of tasting and choosing our food was great. Tori in Columbus is the best!

Richard and Carmen were excellent! They were quick in getting the food set up and restocking when things got low. Nothing ever ran completely out. They helped bus tables and cleaned up after themselves. We asked for them to pack up all the left overs and put it in one spot for our guests to take home. They asked us if we needed anything constantly. We will recommend the full service catering from City BBQ to anyone planning a wedding or a big event!

The vendor offered a tremendous tasting prior to the event. The Guests raved about the food and service.

They were prompt and adapted to my changing the location of where they were going to set up within my venue due to rain. The caterer made my plate for me since I was trying to get my little girls plate ready as well!! very sweet. All leftovers were packed up very nicely! very impressed

The food was phenomenal and we could not eat enough of their cornbread and macaroni and cheese. Guests wished there was more of both! The staff were professional, courteous and punctual. We are so thankful City BBQ was a part of our day!

The food was absolutely amazing. Tori was so helpful from the very first email to the last. Always answered my questions quickly and was just awesome.

Working with City BBQ was easy, stress-free, and delicious! My only complaint would be that the plates/serving of the food was not as nice as I thought it would be for what we paid for full-service. Nonetheless I would recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable and delicious wedding caterer!

While I had limited interaction with the staff, I can say that our experience with City BBQ was nothing but wonderful! Tori was fantastic and Tre and Matt were on top of everything to make our wedding meal fantastic. We heard many compliments on the brisket and it went FAST. I can not say enough t positive things about our experience with City BBQ! From day one it was the easiest process working with them. We had our minds made up on the menu and we were encouraged to do a free tasting. We went and ended up changing the whole menu! Their smoked turkey and sausage were two things we were not planning on getting but once we tasted them we knew it was a must! Their quantity and quality of the food, especially for the price is unmatched. We got tons of positive feedback about the food and people loving it! I could not say enough great things. We received great service on both the catering and the business end. We also received points towards rewards with our catering order and have tons of free food now. 10/10 recommend!

City BBQ was a perfect choice for our wedding. We had a cocktail hour with appetizers of cheese and crackers, fresh fruit with dip and vegetables with dip. It was beautifully displayed and even though it was basic food it was set up to look very fancy. This was perfect for our mansion venue. Our venue required that the caterers do all the set up and tear down. We had mismatched china that city bbq set on the tables for us. I had a bucket of left over greenery and flowers from the centerpieces that we made ourselves. The caterers took them and displayed them beautifully all over the food tables, gift tables and guest book tables. The food was fabulous. People kept telling me they were so excited when they saw the City BBQ van parked outside the venue. They all said, “Finally some good wedding food”. The food was displayed in cast iron skillets. It looked very upscale. The group who game to cater, were Ken, Christinna, Abby, Anna & Tori. They were all very professional and helpful. Tori coordinated everything. She first met with us for a tasting and gave us a cost estimate. She worked with us through email over the next few months as we made a few changes. She met with us at the venue a couple weeks before the wedding to go over the set up and lay out. She was so kind and calming as it gets stressful when the big day approaches. She assured me she had everything handled and she did! After the bride and groom left they cleaned up and all our items were brought were handled with care and replaced in their boxes ready for us to carry home. If you love good BBQ, you should definitely go with City BBQ. You will not be disappointed!

Delicious food, GUESTS raved about it!! Perfect portion sizes! Delivered and set up perfectly! Everything was wonderful! Tre did a great job setting up and Tori did an amazing job with getting us to that point!! Highly recommend and would do it all over again!!!!

I was so happy I chose city bbq to cater my wedding. Too many times wedding food is underwhelming and boring and this was spot on. Both the mashed potato bar and mac and cheese bar was great and the brisket was such a huge hit. I still have people telling me how good it was. I had great communication with them as well and they always kept me in the loop.

This was a huge hit for everyone at the wedding! We had so much food left over!!! The two people who came out to set up and maintain the food were so professional and helpful! I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to cater my wedding.

Holy smokes people were beyond impressed by City BBQ at our wedding!! All of our wedding guests were in love with the food and service by City BBQ, they did an amazing job, we’re on time, very helpful and during the planning process very quick in their responses and also extremely helpful!
