I was the first sales manager hired in our market in 2018, so I have worked with every couple who has gotten married with City BBQ (Northeast Ohio) over the last 6 years! I love what I do and have had the oppurtunity to work with all different venues, budgets, and styles. I believe BBQ is not only affordable but brings families together.. and of course absolutely delicious. In my spare time I love to spend time traveling with my family.

From the first time we met Abbey for our tasting to our wedding day in September, Abbey was absolutely wonderful to work with. We switched up our menu and numbers a few times and Abbey had no issues with accommodating us. When City BBQ showed up at our venue they were great! Very efficient and friendly staff. We heard nothing but raving reviews of our food. We are so happy we chose City BBQ to cater our wedding!

Absolutely amazing. Great service, easy to contact. Down side was the prices going up two months before the wedding and you’re only locked into your price for 30 days prior to the wedding.

Abbey & her team do an AMAZING job with not only the quality of food, but with their service as well! My husband and I own Harvest Moon Venue, a wedding venue in northeast Ohio and we are always so delighted when a couple chooses City BBQ because we know the catering is going go smoothly & taste delicious (hence why we have them on our recommended catering list!) My husband and I used CITYBBQ as our caterer this past weekend for our wedding and we couldn’t say enough good things about them! Leading up to the wedding, the catering coordinator was extremely responsive and answered all my questions within an hour of asking and she made everything so stress free- which is a huge plus! We chose Full Service for day of and were extremely pleased with results! The staff did a fabulous job setting everything up, they were extremely kind and they made sure the buffet line was always stocked and moving! If you are considering CITYBBQ for your catering, you will not be disappointed!

One of the best bbq companies around! Communication is amazing, everyone is fantastic to work with, their staff has been to the venue I work for numerous times and is always great. They have the cutest set ups for the food tables as well, it really adds a special touch to weddings!

City Barbeque was perfect for our chill wedding in Cleveland, OH! We had 170 guests and we heard nothing but high remarks about the food and service during our wedding. It was delicious! It was also a plus having the staff assist with clean up during and following our event.
But we wouldn't have this experience and seamless process without Abbey Mohr. She is so easy to work with and is always a phone call, text, or email away to assist with any questions or concerns. Would recommend for all those who are hosting an event!

The absolute best! 2 months later, guests are still raving about the food. Don't let anyone insist that BBQ isn't "formal" enough for your wedding. We disregarded that "advice" and was a huge success! Abbey was incredible to work with. She met with us right away while lots of other caterers seemed to blow us off. We loved having City BBQ to make our day even more special and memorable!

We reached out to City Barbeque to cater our wedding. Tori was assigned as our wedding event specialist. She was very helpful and gave good input as to what would be the best choices for our meal. We chose the 2 meats and 2 sides option (brisket, bone-in chicken, corn pudding, and mac and cheese). On the day of, George and Brady were our caterers and everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and we got tons of compliments. We had plenty of food, including some leftovers that they packaged up for us. We couldn't have picked a better catering option for our day!

City BBQ was amazing to work with! The food was a huge hit , everyone loved the pulled pork and green beans , but the potato salad was to die for! The banana pudding was soooo good! City Bbq was very responsive & so easy to work with! They arrived knew exactly what to do & where to go. They were very professional & super nice to all the guest! We loved working with them! I would definitely recommend them if you want amazing food! I cannot say enough good things about them!

Abbey was great. We had began working with her a year ago to plan our June 4th wedding and she answered all our questions and concerns and kept great communication with us. They catered our cocktail hour. The buffet for our reception was delicious! No complaints at all. Everyone loved it and it was so filling. There was so much left over after they packed up. We were handing it out left and right. Even took some with for our honeymoon. I hope the workers got to have a bite themselves after handing our rambunctious bunch. Thank you guys again. It couldnt of been more perfect ♥️

Abbey was so easy to work with. She was always available for questions with a quick response time. We got the full service package with pulled pork, bone in chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. It was delicious and the staff was great! They handled packaging up leftovers and cleaned up the buffet table. Super easy to work with and delicious food.

My wife and I found City BBQ through a recommendation by our vendor and Abbey was so kind and helpful from the very beginning! We went in for a tasting and sampled all that they had, they took very good care of us. We decided to book and she was able to completely customize our package so we could have everything we wanted at the lowest cost! Our guests raved about the food and the servers were excellent! We would highly recommend them for any future events you are planning.

The set up was super pretty (we did the full package) and the team they sent day of was professional, fun & always available. The one woman even took a video for us and sent it to my MOH. I couldn’t have asked for a more personable and easy catering company to work with. Lastly, the food was delicious! It was hot, and everyone was super complimentary of it.
Thanks so much for helping make our day special and easy. We HIGHLY recommend using City Barbecue!

The taste testing was amazing first of all it was free, they made it all ready for us and we got to try everything, they explained everything and went over pricing and everything with us. They were amazing from start to finish, we even got the s’mores bar for our wedding. We got married October 2022, and people are still talking about the food. So so worth it I’d give them all the stars I could! Definitely recommend.

The catering team showed up on time, had everything set up in time and we’re on top of refilling trays of food as they ran out. Our guests were so pleased, we were hearing about it all night. I would recommend again and again.

Highly recommend Abbey Mohr, the wedding coordinator for our area. She was extremely professional, organized, and responsive throughout the entire process. From our initial tasting to our wedding day, we were very impressed by City BBQ. Our guests were too, and many of them have inquired about who did the catering because they did such an amazing job! Our food was boxed up neatly and waiting for us in the refrigerator after the event. Would highly recommend!

City BBQ did an AMAZING job with their catering service and food! Lorie and Alyssa V did great with setting everything up quickly and efficiently; from appetizers for cocktail hour to a whole buffet spread for dinner. We received sooo many compliments on the food - especially the beef brisket! We even had a decent amount leftover to take home and enjoy for a few days after. We can't recommend City BBQ enough to cater your wedding or next event! Your guests will be thanking you, too!

I will forever recommend this catering company! FROM GO, it was absolute an easy, awesome, and satisfying experience. We used the Fairlawn location and worked with Abbey. She set up the most amazing tasting my husband and I had ever had. She had all the meats, sides and desserts ready to go. I even got a side of fries!
She was super patient too. She had no issue with creating however many invoices I requested. The day of our wedding, it as a hit. Our guests are still talking about it. We also had left over meats and froze them. And have been able to have leftovers continuously. I highly recommend the pulled pork, beef brisket and the baked beans!

This girl answered my phone call while on vacation! If that isn't dedication I don't know what is! City BBQ was kind when I made some last minute changes to things as well, which as a stressed out bride, was very helpful. Their day of service was amazing too! The people working the line were kind and fun to interact with. Plus the food was just as delicious as the day we did our tasting Overall! Overall we had a completely positive experience, and would definitely recommend City Barbecue to anyone!
