City Iris

t I wanted, and he was able to guide me in the right direction. All of the flowers turned out absolutely amazing! He also created all of our signage, and it was perfect! Even when I tacked on things last minute, he gladly accommodated  me, and I could not be more thankful!

to finish, his attention to detail was impeccable. The bride's bouquet was absolutely breathtaking - a gorgeous white orchid nestled among pristine white roses and lush eucalyptus greenery. It was elegant, romantic, and photographed beautifully throughout the day. The sweetheart table was a showstopper! The boa of white roses and baby's breath created the most magical, snow-like effect that had our guests in awe. The centerpieces were equally stunning - tall vases filled with white baby's breath, hydrangeas, and roses that looked absolutely dramatic and elegant against our black tablecloths. The bridesmaids' bouquets were perfectly rustic with white roses and eucalyptus greenery, and the mothers' nosegays matched beautifully, tying the entire wedding party together. Even the cocktail hour had those thoughtful touches with small vases of white roses and baby's breath scattered throughout. Every arrangement was fresh, flawless, and exactly what we dreamed of. Patrick made our special day even more beautiful, and we're so grateful for his talent and professionalism. I would recommend City Iris to any couple without hesitation!

th nervous brides - he was able to quickly assess and accommodate my daughter's floral needs/desires. Patrick's artistic vision enabled us to entrust the process to him; we visited with him for a mock up several months before the wedding and he selected colors that both matched and complimented the color scheme of the wedding party. We never would have selected the colors he picked but they were the perfect compliment and brought everything together in the most perfect way. A couple of weeks before the wedding, the nervous bride asked me to call Patrick with some last minute requests/concerns and he handled them with ease. On the day of the wedding, we asked him to incorporate a rosary into my daughter's bouquet and he quickly made it look like it was a part of her bouquet all along. I highly recommend Patrick for his artistic abilities, interest in making the bride happy by implementing her vision, and his professionalism. The flowers were amazing and the ambiance he created was exactly what we wanted.

eptionally attentive, responding to all my emails promptly and thoughtfully, which immediately put me at ease during the hectic wedding planning process. Patrick's skill as a florist is truly beautiful. He didn't just create arrangements; he designed pieces that truly embodied every aspect of our day. The way he managed to weave in elements that matched our venue's vibe, my personality, my overall vision, and even the intricate details of my dress into the florals was simply breathtaking. Each arrangement felt incredibly personalized! Our preview meeting right before the wedding was another standout moment. It was exceptional, incredibly thoughtful, and deeply personalized. Patrick walked us through everything, ensuring every detail was perfect and that we felt completely confident and excited about the final look. His keen eye and genuine care made this final check-in a truly memorable experience. I am looking forward to sharing my experience after my big day! Stay tuned!

detail, and ability to capture our style were truly impressive. Patrick was such a joy to work with—professional, responsive, and genuinely passionate about his craft. He absolutely went above and beyond. The flowers added so much beauty and warmth to our wedding day, and we received endless compliments from our guests. We’re so grateful for his talent and dedication. Highly recommend Patrick for any couple looking for stunning, memorable florals!

all and a couple of Pinterest photos later, and he had a proposal and quote for me. Before I knew it, I was in his workspace excitedly looking at a centerpiece and a bouquet. Then when I threw a whole other new request at him a month out, he worked with me to make my vision come through. Patrick was on point with installation despite numerous challenges, and on the big day, I could see him running around making magic happen, all with a smile on his face. This is all not even to mention how creative and talented he is and how much beauty he brought to our day. Couples: DO NOT HESITATE to reach out! Patrick is the absolute best and a dream to work with. Creative, responsive, efficient, organized and empathetic. What more could you ask for?

I knew he was the ONE! Patrick is the best in the business. He saw my vision for the day and knew what I wanted and didn’t want. What I loved about working with Patrick is throughout wedding planning he and I would talk not just about florals but the overall color and decor scheme of the wedding. The best part of wedding planning was when Ryan and I were able to see a mockup of the centerpieces and my bouquet- it was so beautiful and made us so excited for the wedding. Patrick went above and beyond to make our dreams come true. I can’t imagine our wedding day without Patrick being there. I look forward to keeping in touch with Patrick and working with him again.

sion and only made it more classy, elegant, and timeless. Patrick was recommended by our venue who encouraged us to listen to and trust him. That's just what we did, and the results were magical. Patrick was helpful with not just florals, but with menus, place cards, table settings, etc. Everything was perfect. He was quick to respond to emails and last minute changes, his pricing was fair and affordable, and most of all, throughout the whole process, it was evident that Patrick loves what he does. Don't hesitate in hiring City Iris for your big event!

ncredibly fun to work with. I know nothing about flowers and he really worked with me on planning the display, the bouquets based on the dress I showed him. I could not recommend him highly enough

ming when you walk in. I am a very visual person, so it was hard for me to verbalize what I imagined in my head. My theme was Winter in Old New York and the best I could offer were adjectives: Classic, elegant, shimmer/sparkle, clean, romantic and warm, which translated into effortless elegance. Patrick did more than deliver, he created a wedding that met and exceeded what I imagined- and then some. He was enthusiastic, creative, sweet, fun, and supportive. No question or detail was too small, nor did he let me overlook things I never would have considered. He listened, offered alternatives, guided but never pushed, and was sensitive to our budget. I could speak for hours about the magical feeling of his event design, his eye for detail and his ability to ensure grand but never gauche. The two best testaments I can give about his work is to say that 1) When I walked in, I got choked up by how beautifully stunning everything looked/felt, and 2) My mother walked in not realizing ours was the only wedding that day at the Boathouse and exclaimed "Wow, whose ever wedding this is, they really went all out on these amazing flowers and decorations!" She was more stunned when I clarified it was indeed our wedding. Patrick did such an amazing job all around, that hindsight being 20/20, I could have eliminated my coordinator. Patrick is more than a florist and/or event designer, he is an artist and a dream whisperer--and now a friend (-: p.s. Effortless Elegance superseded!

rgy and creativity. He absolutely NAILED my vision and exceeded my expectations. I wanted bright colors, but for the fall and he truly was the cherry on top for my wedding weekend. I left the creative process up to him with some inspo photos, but I fully trusted him. He is fun and so amazing to work with. I wish I had more events to plan just so I can work with him again!!

s from everyone of the unique flowers that were included and the dreamy way they presented. I cannot recommend him more and would always go to him for floral arrangements and design.

ion was flawless. Additionally, they have some of the best "bedside manner" in the biz. Patrick was patient and thoughtful as my vision and budget evolved over the course of the eighteen months we worked together. He answered every question I had meaningfully and was eager to bring my vision to life while also respecting my budget limitations. I cannot recommend him enough to any couple looking for a florist for their big day. P.S. In addition to doing my wedding flowers, Patrick also consistently provides the florals for my company's work events. He can do it all, truly!

ading up to the big day but even the preview did not prepare me for the gorgeous arrangements. My bouquet and the candy colored sprays with pinks, red, purples, and blues were STUNNING. He stayed until the ceremony to ensure every detail was perfect. My guests were in the awe of the florals and it was beyond my wildest dreams. I cannot recommend Patrick and his team enough for all they did to make my day completely perfect. Florals for Spring! Groundbreaking!

dding. He exudes kindness and generosity and has the most infectious personality. On top of that, he did a fantastic job of helping to execute our vision for our wedding flowers. He stayed flexible every step of the way, even when we thought we might change our entire color palette at one point. He created gorgeous candleholder centerpieces and an archway, which he effectively used in the ceremony and the reception, and his bouquets and corsages/boutonnieres looked stunning. We’d wanted a deep purple color palette and were concerned about getting the right shades in combination. Things could have skewed too pastel or too blue, but Patrick struck the perfect balance. Right before our preview, he added a flower he hadn’t originally planned to include (purple anemones). His instincts were spot on, and this flower (as well as the others he chose) ended up being exactly what we wanted in terms of color. He understood the vision and wasn’t afraid to toss new ideas our way. It was easy to put our trust in him and we are so grateful we did!

ur reception. More than anything, Patrick was extremely thoughtful and easy to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone. Patrick thank you for making our spaces so beautiful!

day. Not only is he incredibly talented and extremely professional, but he is also a genuine, kind and sincere person which only elevated our experience working with him. Patrick - thank you for sticking with us through our journey - EVERYTHING was perfect and stunning!

riced. My mother-in-law texted me later saying, "The bouquets and corsages and centerpieces were the nicest I've ever seen." Definitely choose CityIris.

g plants as opposed to cut flowers. The reception area looked even better than we had imagined. Beyond that, Patrick went above and beyond the call of duty in so many ways, including helping us with some logistical issues. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, he was incredibly patient and generous as I ran many aesthetic decisions by him which had nothing to do with florals. Through these exchanges, I came to trust his taste so much that we ended up giving him very few directives and letting him decide the rest; he executed everything masterfully. For our chuppah decoration, we said only that we wanted green hanging amaranthus. We are so happy with how they turned out. He even repurposed our excess tablecloth fabric to make a chuppah covering. I left the design of my wedding bouquet completely to him, and he surprised me with an incredible bouquet that I loved more than anything I’d seen. I highly recommend CityIris to anyone, and will certainly be calling whenever I need flowers of any kind in the future!

flowers were also perfection. We received so many compliments about the colors, style and overall look of the flowers . Will definitely use Patrick again!

er dreamed. He truly cares. It will be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding to hire him as your florist!

ng. The flowers were gorgeous, so fresh and lush. Patrick also created our seating chart/welcome sign and table numbers. Anything I threw at him, he knocked out of the park and went above and beyond with it. The setup for our ceremony wasn’t as pretty as the venue had initially promised us, but Patrick brought extra flowers and went to work to make it beautiful for us. I would highly recommend him over and over again. He was a dream!

comes to life. We had a smaller wedding with blush-themed florals and it was perfect. I recently lost my dad and wanted to incorporate a piece of his jeans in my bouquet so he could be with me as I walked down the aisle. Patrick made a beautiful ribbon from the fabric I gave him. He went above and beyond to make this special for me. I cannot thank him enough for all his hard work - everything was beautiful! Highly recommend - you can't go wrong here!!

followed through wonderfully on the day. We wanted an earthy and minimal tone to the wedding. Patrick killed it! My wedding was so beautiful! I cannot thank him enough for the amazing job. He stuck around a little bit to make sure everything was good. My mother after a few glasses of wine loves to dance and Patrick even jumped in to dance a little with her! Huge added bonus to see my mom smile and having a good time. The flowers and décor was beautiful and everyone at the wedding and on my Facebook commented how classy it was and how stunning everything turned out. Thank you Patrick 100000x!!! My wedding could not have been the same without you!!

tion via email that we would become fast friends and I fully trusted that he would execute our vision with care. He is a kindred spirit, a life-lover and FUN!! He took our non-traditional color scheme that all of our family and friends said was "quirky" (at best) when we had previously described to them what we imagined for our special day, and he made it extraordinary--bursting with vibrant color and arrangements that were so clearly crafted with love!! Every guest that greeted us told us that that we had the most beautiful wedding flowers they had ever seen. All thanks to Patrick!!! He made our day more magical than I could have ever imagined and I am so appreciative of all of his hard work, and I am especially so thrilled to count him as a new friend. If you are looking for a florist for your wedding who will listen, advise, share in your excitement and provide the most beautiful flowers you've ever seen for your wedding day, look no further than Patrick at City Iris!!!

and bouquets for my wedding. After speaking with him he brought our vision of classy and romantic with a hint of holiday for our December wedding to life. He really does go above and beyond to ensure everything is exactly as you want all within budget. I cannot recommend him enough! With Patrick you are guaranteed to have stunning florals and a kind professional florist to work with.

breathtaking, and the other floral arrangements were beautiful. Patrick is organized, professional, and was quick to answer any questions we had. He worked within our budget, and was able to transform the room into a romantic setting. Thank you Patrick. We definitely recommend his work.

.  He had an amazing vision and eye to capture exactly what we wanted to make our wedding day truly a fairytale.  Patrick truly guided us in the right direction and helped us realize our vision.  I simply still cannot stop staring at my wedding bouquet in photos as it was just so beautiful!  Thank you so much Patrick for your incredible work!!!! -Lauren & Michael Pepin

ys brings good energy. I truly feel that my journey to him was orchestrated by divine intervention. He also worked with me to complete my wedding day look by providing several options for hair pieces and earrings--all of which were beautiful. He made my wedding day so magical. My guests were fighting over the centerpieces at the end of the night!! You will not regret hiring him. I promise. Although CityIris is based in New York, Patrick traveled to Philadelphia for my wedding :)

! Patrick arrived early, and made the most beautiful flower arch, bouquet, button holes, table centerpieces, and adorable collars for our pups to wear! I would highly recommend Patrick - 5 out of 5 stars without question!

es—and since we first met, he exuded so much warmth, positive energy and professionalism we quickly came to rely on him for his opinion and creative ideas. He was a friend to us, always quick in responding to our every concern and query, always caring, always making us feel special. In the end he gifted us with the floral arrangement of our dream—so exquisite, so happy-making, so completely ‘us’—which our guests couldn’t stop raving about for days.

s super responsive and he was so easy to work with. I felt comfortable and knew that we were in good hands. On the day of the event he arrived early for his set up, made sure everything was to our liking, and was genuinely such a blast to be around. I would absolutely hire him again for any future events!

tentive, and just an absolutely lovely human being all around. He was patient, understanding, and accommodating throughout the entire process, as planning a wedding 3000 miles away in a pandemic is not the easiest thing to do! Our wedding day would not have been the same without him and we would recommended him to anyone who wants their vision to truly come to life!

flowers in the reception area were jaw dropping. All the guest were in awe with his work. You can't go wrong with City Iris.

ck initial phone call, Patrick immediately understood the look I was going for, and he sent reference images that were spot on before I even shared my inspiration boards. Due to covid19 restrictions, we changed our April 2021 plans by postponing our large catering hall reception to 2022 and planning a small ceremony in my parents' backyard. With this change, Patrick immediately got to brainstorming ways to make this day still feel extra special. He created a stunning bouquet for me, vibrant centerpieces, and an incredible arch covered in cherry blossoms. In addition, he used rose petals and tons of candles to set the tone. I cannot thank Patrick enough for making our backyard ceremony so much more beautiful than I could have imagined, and we are so excited to work with him next year for our large reception. If you are looking for a highly creative, professional, thoughtful and caring florist, then Patrick is your guy!

12 guest backyard wedding. My wedding planner connected me with Patrick and from day one he never skipped a beat! He created the perfect bridal bouquet and boutonniere. It was all shades of pink with a rustic flare. He was very personable as well flexible. I would highly recommend his services!

ay 2020. Patrick was highly flexible, adaptable, and was a reassuring light in the midst of a ton of confusion and concern. He worked tirelessly, took on extra responsibility to make the day run smoothly, and our flowers were stunning! Everyone at the wedding commented how exceptional the flowers and decor was- all thanks to Patrick. Can not recommend him enough. Our wedding was originally meant to be in Brooklyn, we moved to CT, and he had no problem being there and delivering perfectly.

h him and they were totally right, best decision ever! From the very first conversation, he completely understood exactly what I wanted - even though I know nothing about flowers so could not articulate that vision very well -- and he delivered above and beyond expectations. We initially hired him to do a 175 person NYC wedding, but with Covid we ended up doing a really small party (5 total) in the Hamptons. He was super flexible and creative and made the event so beautiful. All of our other vendors commented on how uniquely amazing the flowers were. And the best part is his attitude - you will have a blast working with him!

be a special day, and Patrick and City Iris were one of the main reasons for it. Six months later, our wedding guests are still talking about the amazing floral arrangements. Our guests complimented the wedding, in part because of the flowers, as one of the “classiest” events they had ever attended. Patrick understood the wedding vision from our very first phone call, and respected our budget throughout the challenges of the pandemic. He also created beautiful flowers for our initial elopement in the summer of 2020. My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about Patrick and City Iris, and I've got my fingers crossed for an excuse to book him again sometime soon! July 2020- Patrick has been wonderful to work with since our very first consultation call. He immediately understood my vision, unlike other florists. I was thrilled to see his centerpiece mockups before our wedding. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. But we did recently have a small ceremony. Patrick was wonderful to work with then. He provided a bouquet and boutonniere. He also sourced a whole new chuppah for our ceremony as well as providing complementary flowers for the reception. He was very generous as our budget was very very small for this unforeseen additional ceremony. My husband and I cannot wait to use Patrick for our upcoming reception.

nd colors for our fall wedding! Everything turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. He gave us a lot of suggestions and advice not only for flowers decorations but also for the ceremony schedule, table arrangements and seating charts

married on the same date this year, so we decided to have a backyard wedding with no in-person guests. Patrick and his team did an AMAZING job transforming our backyard into a beautiful wedding space for our Virtual Quarantine Wedding! We had a colorful aesthetic and sent Patrick some pictures and suggestions. Immediately, he provided us with his magnificently creative vision. From the gorgeous archway to the cute table display to the bouquet and beyond, everything was PERFECT! We cannot thank Patrick enough for his patience, understanding, flexibility, and artistry!

tion with Patrick was via email and I did not meet him in person until he delivered my bouquet the morning of my wedding; And he was just as great in person as he had been over email! I sent him photos of what I had in mind and the end result exceeded my expectations. Choose CityIris, you will not be disappointed!!

eally stunning and beautiful. He gave me a lot of suggestions not only for flower decor, but also for ceremony schedule, location of sweet heart tables and etc. Therefore, it was really easy for me to prepare this big day! Thank you Patrick :) !!

ly pointed out the same boutonniere from my Pinterest board. Patrick was very easy to work with, he always took our input into account and offered suggestions based on what we wanted and was receptive to our feedback. He clearly has a passion and vision for floral arrangements, he was able to immediately suggest flowers and a color palette that complemented our theme perfectly. We had a tight budget and Patrick worked with us to make sure our arrangements would be beautiful regardless. He did not hesitate to help us to bring everything within budget. He also went the extra mile for us. The flowers for our wedding were the wrong shade when they arrived the day before so he went to flower market at 4AM on the day of the wedding to get the flowers in the correct shade. On the wedding day, Patrick and his team arrived early to set up and everything was gorgeous. The wedding altar and centerpieces were beautiful, the bouquets and boutonnieres were full, and the colors all tied in together so well. He also decorated the escort card table, wedding cake table, and the tables at cocktail hour. Some of our guests weren't mindful and broke a few of the cylinder vases along the aisle after the ceremony but Patrick had spare cylinders just in case. He salvaged the flowers and replaced them without a hitch. Patrick checked in with us throughout the day to make sure that everything was exactly as we dreamed and let us know when he was leaving for the night. I would definitely recommend him and know where to go if we need flowers for another event.
