who would make our wedding look beautiful and memorable, but more importantly, that she was someone I was happy to have around on our wedding day. In my opinion, having a well-regarded photographer only means so much if you don't also enjoy their company - since they're gonna be hovering around you for most of this important day. With regards to the results themselves, we were incredibly pleased. Alexis was timely in delivering photos, sent us a couple right after the wedding to fawn over, then gave us full digital access soon after - in 3 different file sizes, color and b&w, and sorted by event (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception etc). As we each went through them online, starring our favorite photos, she used this information when creating our album, in addition to going through multiple rounds of edits with us in order to achieve our perfect keepsake. One last little fun anecdote that I think might separate Alexis from other photographers - we found that she had a knack for starting to shoot posed photos before everyone got set, which resulted in a number of wonderfully candid shots. My mother's extended side of the family is particularly known for being loud, and when we all began assembling for a group shot, Alexis snapped a fantastic photo of the group gathering with seemingly every single person's mouth open because they were either talking, shouting, or laughing. The posed photo is there for official ancestry's sake, but the candid perfectly encapsulates everything about that side of the family. And I truly believe Alexis was the right photographer for catching the essence of what makes the family and day as a whole so special.

We are so in love with how our photos turned out-- Alexis really does have a rare talent and creativity, and she also genuinely listens to determine what you want and goes above and beyond to deliver exactly that and more. We honestly recommend Alexis to anyone who wants to have the most beautiful and unique photos of their celebration and also find a great friend in the process. :)

Our wedding was a bit different than others we'd been to - we had our ceremony on a Friday and a separate reception on Saturday - but Alexis worked with us to create a very reasonably priced package to cover both events. She has a great eye and her approach to photography was exactly what we were looking for. I cannot say enough good things about Alexis and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

the time to learn about us as a couple, she had a great personality, and her pictures were beautiful. Leading up to the wedding, Alexis stayed in touch with us to finalize plans and to go over the list of all of the combinations of guests we wanted pictures of. She was extremely responsive when we emailed her with questions. At the wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly, everyone felt comfortable, and all of the pictures on our list were covered. She did an incredible job of capturing nearly every moment from different angles while still seeming unobtrusive. So many of our guests commented on how great she was. This was confirmed further when we received our photos back and they were perfect! As part of our package, we also had a photo book which Alexis made and which we were extremely happy with. To sum it up, we have only wonderful things to say about Alexis and are so glad that she was our photographer!
