We offer customized menus that are tailored to the season and your preferences and offer input from Chef Jason (a Culinary Institute of American graduate) to ensure your guests are raving about their meal.
City Moose Catering is an experienced and professional wedding catering company based in Hudson, New Hampshire. Jason Lamountain is the executive chef that utilizes his culinary expertise in every dish he serves. He began his culinary career at Alvirne High School and from there moved on to study at the Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. There, Jason worked for three years with the Functions Department and was responsible for catering functions on the CIA campus. He went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and from there accepted a position as private chef for FLIR. In 2016 Jason and Stacy, who is co-owner and catering coordinator, opened City Moose Catering that since then has been their love and full time job.

ore! Our guests were raving about the food immediately during cocktail hour, from the mouth watering quesadillas to the onion dip and potato chips. Luckily, as the bride and groom we didn’t miss out on any of the delicious appetizers because Stacey came over with our own personal serving tray filled with all of our apps! A buffet style main course was suggested by Stacey to allow for quicker service for the venue we had and we are so appreciative for that recommendation. If we had went with the original plan of a plated dinner we would never have had time to mingle and dance with our guests. Many other vendors would never have taken the time or cared enough to suggest something like that. We highly recommend the chicken picatta and garlic mashed potatoes because its all our guests could talk about! Leftover food was packed up for us at the end of the night. Can you say late night snack? They made sure to take care of us with as much care and importance as the guests, which really resonated with us. We have heard stories that some brides and grooms don’t even eat at their own wedding, but with City Moose that will never be the case for you. If you’re looking for a caterer that pays attention to detail, cares about your needs, and delivers a wide variety of delicious food, then City Moose is for you!

and boy are we sure glad we did! She was so knowledgeable and approachable. We met both Stacy and Chef Jason in person at our private tasting and they really took our Italian pasta buffet idea and ran with it. They even recreated a favorite dish of ours from a Massachusetts restaurant and helped us incorporate it into our big day (Chef Jason nailed it!). We had several guests with food allergies and City Moose really takes that seriously, providing personal meals. Aside from how incredible the food was, Stacy stood in front of me as I had my dress bustled with a tray full of the cocktail hour passed apps, making sure I not only ate, but also got to try everything! I can’t stop talking about how special that was. We are still receiving compliments months later how unbelievable the food was. City Moose not only provided the food, they also provided the tableware, which was exactly what was discussed at our tasting! City Moose had several options to choose from and they were really able to compliment the overall vision with their available options. Unlike other caterers, Stacy gets to know you as a couple and what you like/dislike and helps you create a menu to fit you and your future spouse's taste buds. They even box up the leftovers, and my husband and I Iiterally just enjoyed some of the sides we froze from our wedding a couple weeks ago! The food speaks for itself (DELICIOUS - we got a lot of compliments) and they take AMAZING care of guests with allergies. Ask for the tater kegs for late night ;) I promise you won't regret it. Stacy did so much throughout the day and the planning process to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed to have the best possible day and food. We just had our wedding on March 19th and it was PERFECT! Our guests were raving about the appetizers, dinner and donut wall! Chef really poured his heart and soul into this food and it definitely showed. I cannot thank Stacy enough, she started out as my caterer and slowly fit the roles of event planner, photographer, decorator, a mom, personal assistant, personal stylist and venting buddy. I’m super lucky to have known of the owners since they live in the same town as me, Stacy is super sweet and was always helpful when we had questions or needed to make alterations. Chef Jason’s food was delicious and of course the donuts are too die for. The eggs are highly recommended, my dad who is recovering from cancer in his throat absolutely enjoyed eating them because they’re so soft and juicy, they were the best eggs we’ve ever had.
