Based out of Cleveland, OH, City Six Strings are a group of wedding musicians. These artists have experience in performances across the United States and across the world. You can call on them to provide your wedding festivities with a refined musical note.
Violinist Sarah Becker and cellist McKinley Glasser combined their talents in 2020 to found City Six Strings. Since then, this ensemble has grown to include more than 30 classically trained musicians. Members have performed with acts such as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Michael Bublé.
City Six Strings can provide your wedding with instrumentals, strings, and vocals. These musicians offer live music as a delightful backdrop for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, in addition to during breaks and your rehearsal dinner. Their instruments include the cello, violin, piano, and viola. You can enjoy sample performances ahead of your big day and ask for your ensemble to practice your favorite tune.

We had a 120-person wedding at The Club at Corazón in Dublin, Ohio, with an outdoor ceremony and the string duo sounded amazing in the open space. Their music created the perfect atmosphere and made the ceremony feel even more special.
They were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, always ready to answer questions, guide us through music choices, and provide thoughtful suggestions for the ceremony flow. Their song list was extensive, and when we asked about including “How Deep Is Your Love” by the Bee Gees (a meaningful song from my parents’ wedding) they graciously created a custom arrangement. Hearing it played live during our ceremony was one of the most emotional moments of the day. Guests are still raving about how beautiful every piece sounded.
Even when unexpected weather delayed our ceremony by 20 minutes, City Six Strings handled it with grace and flexibility, staying beyond their scheduled time without hesitation. Their professionalism, talent, and kindness meant the world to us.

hey were incredibly easy to work with, offered great packages and an excellent selection of music. They were very well organized and the hardest part was trying to pick just a few of our favorite songs for them to play. The day of our wedding our musicians were on time and did a beautiful job playing during our ceremony and cocktail hour.
