We could not have made a better choice than having our wedding at City Winery!! From start to finish, it was perfect. Working with the staff was amazing - specifically Stephanie, ...who is an angel. She is so patient, kind, detail-oriented, and a calming presence during what can sometimes be a stressful process. She made us feel like there was no concern we couldn't resolve and any question we had would be answered very promptly. On the wedding day, the staff was so attentive - it is truly white-glove service. Although it is a pricey venue, you definitely get what you pay for.
Beyond that, the venue itself is gorgeous. I have never seen something like it and our guests could not get over its beauty, how unique it is with all of its different spaces, the delicious food, and the big reception room.
A few recommendations that made the experience extra special! 1) Another huge, and somewhat underrated, perk of getting married here is the access they give you to "The Barn", which is onsite with three huge suites. One of them you get complimentary starting at noon, but if you rent it the night before, you can be there as early as you want and come the day before to sleep over / drop off any stuff. This was so convenient and it was amazing waking up at the venue and having my bridesmaids arrive early to get ready. Then my new husband and I also rented it to sleep there after the wedding, which was also so nice to not have to worry about starting to get transportation home for the two of us with all of our stuff, and we could just walk a few steps from the party! 2) We rented out the patio for the cocktail hour and I'd highly recommend! It avoids having any outside restaurant guests eating there during your cocktail hour, which made the whole courtyard feel private. We were also able to have another food station and bar up there, which our guests loved! 3) The Boiler Bar is super cool and unique - definitely recommend also using this for before the wedding and the after party!!
This was truly my dream venue and I couldn't recommend it more.
