I do not give 5 stars lightly.
The short version is: This team was truly the best decision I made for our wedding day & my favorite vendor. I would recommend Sarah, Peter & Kyra ...
without hesitation. Sarah also personally saved my wedding day when my planner was struggling. She and her team went above and beyond to make my day perfect.
Pre-Wedding: I extensively researched photographers, searching between states and even countries. I spoke to over 15 photographers and probably researched over 30. Sarah, Peter and Kyra were absolutely incredible to work with and they delivered excellently. From the time, I hired them, I worked with Sarah. She first worked with me and coordinated a facetime to make sure our visions aligned while I was traveling in Europe - She made the time work. She helped in timeline creation, vision, and locations for photography. When I was deciding between getting-ready locations, I turned to Sarah for her opinion and I received the most thoughtful email and honest opinions back, including some work she had done in the past at each location (the plus, the minus, and artistically what worked and didn't). She communicated directly that she thought we may need a bit of extra time. There were no surprises. She was incredibly flexible with the rain plan. Sarah was also so sweet -she personally texted me wishing me a happy wedding week and wedding day just to be kind.
Wedding day: I cannot describe how helpful Sarah, Peter, and Kyra were on my wedding day. They essentially took over timeline management (not their job!!). My bridesmaids (all of them) personally reached out to me and mentioned how Sarah was their point person and tackled all questions and point the gals in the right direction when the day-of-coordinator's team went awry. The photographer's job is certainly not timeline management. Sarah somehow acted as two vendors and nailed both her job and several other jobs. They were also the most grounding, chill, and easy-going team to work with. This is not even saying anything about the stunning quality and dedication to their work. My wedding day was a torrential downpour.....Sarah and her team stood in the rain, put their equipment at risk and got the shots. They gently directed, read the room, and obtained every shot I asked for with a bulleted list. Sarah was personally my go - to and savior on my wedding day. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Post wedding: When I tell you that I feel team captured the most STUNNING photos I have ever seen, I am not exaggerating. Not only me, but my mother, my mother-in-law, my bridesmaids and my husband all felt beautiful/handsome. Timing wise, Sarah, Peter and Kyra delivered two sets of teasers within <1 month of the wedding. Their work is extremely high quality. I hired a LOT of vendors, and CityLux Studios is in the top 1% of vendor's I've worked with.
When you're planning a wedding, there are so so many decisions that need to be made. Often, this can cause you to feel decision paralysis and question if you are making the "right" vendor decision. I certainly struggled with this, but I am here to tell you that hiring CityLux Studios was the best vendor decision I made for our wedding, and I'd hire her again without any hesitation.
We used CityLux for our wedding in May and we cannot recommend them enough! Sarah and Peter were amazing to work with from start to finish. Logistics and planning were easy, they w...
ere flexible and always open to suggestions and our preferences, they had really fun personalities and made us feel so comfortable, and most importantly they are incredibly talented photographers. From our engagement photoshoot to the day of wedding photoshoots, every single picture captured the moment perfectly. We are so grateful for our experience working with CityLux, they really are the best!
I would give CityLux 10 stars if I could! We could not have made a better decision for our wedding, Sarah and Peter were incredible from the first time we talked to them through th...
e big day (they were actually the first photographers we talked with and felt so good that we booked them without talking to anyone else and I have no regrets at all!). They were extremely responsive, communicative, helpful, and patient throughout the entire planning process, even from before we had signed the contract. We worked with Sarah and Glory for our wedding who were both phenomenal; they were wonderful, so easy to work with, efficient and helpful, and made us feel so comfortable all day. We got our teasers back almost immediately and got the rest of the gallery back quickly too (less than 2 months) and our photos are INCREDIBLE. We also ended up adding on videography with Kyra and the final product is so beautiful. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
We worked with Kyra from CityLux Studios for our wedding in Boston, MA. From the beginning Kyra made the process seamless and stress-free, from constructing the initial photo list ...
to her ability to pivot quickly on the wedding day itself. She was professional and had responsive communication throughout. Our wedding was recent, but the initial teaser photos are incredible and captured the candid moments and posed portraits we dreamed of! This is one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding. We highly recommend Kyra and CityLux!
This is for CityLux Events: Allie and the CityLux team transformed our entire wedding planning experience! From the start, we were anxious and completely overwhelmed by decisions, ...
but Allie’s guidance and expertise quickly changed that. She expertly helped us navigate our options, always considering our vision and budget. She was great about letting us as a couple deliberate before weighing in. She also frequently introduced us to ideas we hadn't considered, carefully presenting them in a way that made us feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. Her honest insights about our budget were invaluable, helping us make realistic choices with confidence.
As our wedding day approached, Allie’s support and warmth became even more meaningful. She was always there to check in and calm any worries (which always turned out to be unnecessary), and her encouragement lifted us up every step of the way. On the day of our wedding, Allie was incredible! She flawlessly captured our vision, and her calm, cheerful presence kept everything running smoothly. Even when a last-minute catering issue arose, she handled it seamlessly, ensuring we could stay fully immersed in the joy of our day.
We feel lucky to consider Allie not only our planner but also a friend. She, Sarah, and the entire CityLux team went above and beyond, making our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. We can’t recommend CityLux highly enough for anyone planning a special event!

We cannot recommend CityLux enough!

ght our vision to life!
On our wedding day, Sarah and Glory were fabulous! They captured every moment and were so easy to work with. I didn't believe them at first when they said they could complete family and wedding portraits in 20 minutes and boy, was I wrong! They were so efficient leaving plenty of time for photos of me and my Groom while our family and wedding party got to enjoy most of cocktail hour!
When we sat down at the Sweetheart table at the reception, Sarah had a few polaroid photos she had taken while we were getting ready and the ceremony, such a special touch!
48 hours after getting married my husband and I left for our honeymoon and imagine our surprise when we landed in France, Sarah had delivered our Wedding Teaser album! Every shot so beautiful and had us reliving ever moment. We cannot wait for the full album!!
Highly recommend CityLux for your wedding day or any special events!

ould recommend them in a heartbeat, 10/5 stars!
I can't say enough good things about working with Sarah, Peter, and Glory. CityLux was recommended to us by a friend, and after browsing their work, we immediately reached out for ...
a consultation. We chatted with Peter and Sarah for about an hour and connected so well - we booked right away! Sarah is incredibly responsive, sweet, professional, and has a great eye. We had so much fun at our engagement shoot where we met both Sarah and Peter. They made us feel so comfortable behind the camera. I think we laughed for the full two hours and the pictures turned out AMAZING. We love the "cinematic" editing. Leading up to our wedding day Sarah made sure we were prepped and ready with instructions and a general timeline that fit in with our schedule. We shared a photo list to make sure we captured everyone and everything - no small feat with our large families and guest list. The day of was again perfect - Sarah and Glory were so fun and accommodating. They felt like good friends behind the camera and blended so well with the bridal party and our guests. We even asked for an additional hour to get more dancing shots and Sarah stayed without hesitation. The wedding teasers came so fast, with the full album not long after. Hundreds of beautiful photos. We really could not have been happier with our experience and recommend CityLux 1000000/10. We will cherish these photos forever! Thank you Sarah, Peter, and Glory!
Sarah and Peter are pure magic. From our engagement session to our wedding, everyone from our parents, bridal party and us felt so comfortable with their direction and their vision...
. They are true partners and willing to work with you to get the photos you want.
As people, they are so genuine and caring. We plan to use CityLux for other life events where we want photos captured, and cannot thank them enough for the work they did for our wedding!
My husband and I had the most incredible experience with Sarah and Peter! It felt like we’ve been friends for many years when we first met for our engagement pictures. Their work w...
as absolutely amazing, capturing every moment with perfection. From the stunning photos that will last a lifetime to the heartwarming video that brought tears to our eyes, they exceeded our expectations in every way.
Their creativity shone through in every shot, and they went above and beyond to capture unique angles and candid moments. What truly stood out was their ability to make us feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera, resulting in photos that truly reflected our personalities and the essence of our wedding day.
Their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail were truly outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better team to document our special day. We cannot recommend Sarah and Peter enough. Their passion for their craft and dedication to capturing our special day made them an invaluable part of our wedding. If you’re looking for exceptional talent and a team that will go the extra mile to make your day unforgettable, look no further. They are simply the best!

lutely recommend them. Their assistance with planning, their outgoing nature and the results they delivered were socond to none. Thank you for everything!
Sarah and Peter were our best decision. We chose them based on the fact that they’re a husband and wife duo - we thought hey, how practical! But we were also intrigued on how their...
working dynamic directly informed their work and we couldn’t say more about how right we were. Our engagement shoot was the perfect opportunity to not only develop our relationship the camera but also with Peter and Sarah - which was in fact my favorite part. Things felt so natural after a few minutes. Seeing them on our wedding day was like seeing old friends and having them by our side felt like an extension of our wedding party. It goes without saying that your wedding day can at times feel like a marathon so much stamina is required. But Peter and Sarah really understood this and they were so kind and accommodating as we navigated our wedding day. They’re work is so beautiful because they are in fact a beautiful couple themselves.
It was such a pleasure to work with Sarah and Peter. They were very responsible. We had two meetings prior to my proposal; they helped me go through every detail that I might miss....
Even though I only booked for an hour, they came early and started working as soon as they arrived. Their pictures were gorgeous. The proposal was very quick for me and my fiance, but they made sure to catch every beautiful moment during the event, so that we can remember every detail of this previous day of ours. They were also very fast at producing the final pictures. We received a teaser of the pictures on the same day, and all >100 photos were out after only TWO days, which was unbelievable! Therefore, a 5-star recommend!
My fiancé and I got engaged a few weeks ago and he hired Sarah and Peter as a surprise for the proposal. I can’t even begin to explain how incredible and perfect the pictures came ...
out. It was the perfect blend of cute fun pictures and moody vintage style I could have ever dreamed of. They were also so fun to work with and made our day even more special. Once we have a venue date can’t wait to work with them again!
We are so happy that we hired CityLux Studios for our engagement and wedding photographers. Sarah and Peter are amazing! They're so talented and easy to work with - we had so much ...
fun with them, and they helped the day run so smoothly. We're thrilled with how our pictures turned out - we even had our sneak peeks back within a day or two!

livered! We’re so glad we did an engagement shoot with them first- in no time we were laughing and having so much fun! This made the wedding day a breeze- when they arrived, it felt like they were old friends we’ve known for years. They made everyone comfortable and brought a calming & creative energy that helped balance out the rush of the day. It felt so nice to have them there with us and we can’t thank them enough. The photos are absolutely beautiful- they captured the essence of the day and our guests so so well! We’ve recommended them to two other friends who can now attest to their greatness too 😊. Thank you both!!

When you hire photographers, you think about hiring people who take beautiful pictures, and Sarah and Peter take the most gorgeous photos. But you probably don’t think as much abou...
t who will be the best at handling logistics, or the most fun to work with. Sarah and Peter did an incredible job on the logistics side. They created our entire timeline, which we shared with our other vendors and which helped everything to go smoothly. They met with us before the wedding and sent an extensive questionnaire that helped us think through every step of our day. And they are so much fun to work with! We felt so special and so hyped-up because of their amazing energy. If you hire Sarah and Peter, you know that you are working with incredibly talented and logistically brilliant professionals who will also help you have the best time at your wedding. And yes, the photos that they take are absolutely gorgeous – I’ve never felt more beautiful than I do looking at photos from my wedding day. We are so grateful that we hired Citylux Studios for our wedding and we can’t recommend them enough.
I don't even know where to start with this review. We had a ton of amazing vendors, but Sarah and Peter are just in another league. We instantaneously clicked with them personally ...
which made the entire (sometimes awkward) task of photos so much fun and completely stress-free.
We probably interviewed 5-7 photography teams and when I tell you there wasn't even a question about who we were going to pick, I mean it. Sarah and Peter could not have been a more obvious choice, and we cancelled our other calls as soon as we talked to them.
In addition to just being the best people (like honestly, you'll wish your wedding will never end just so you get to hang out with them more), they are the literal best photographers ever. Our engagement photos were fantastic, but the teasers we've gotten back from our wedding? Next. Level.
Also, can we talk about their turnaround times? You're never left waiting weeks or months for teasers, they sent our teaser reel to us after like 3 days (but don't expect it because they're busy guys! Just know it COULD happen and then it's just a lovely surprise).
Could literally ramble on about how amazing these two are forever, but I know you have weddings to plan, so save yourself time and just book these two gems like 20 minutes ago. Now seriously, go give them a call so you have the best wedding memories ever.
Love you guys!

and Peter were really really great! And after about 5 minutes I didn't even know they were snapping photos anymore! 24 hours after our wedding, we already had photos from them, and I can't stop looking at them! They are perfect!
We couldn’t be happier with choosing CityLux as our wedding and engagement photographers. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! Sarah and Peter were so amazing with their talent...
to spot great shots and how incredibly nice and fun they are to work with. We were even able to do a small photo shoot with our dog to have some awesome photos for our wedding venue. We are so thrilled with our photos and could not have picked a better team to work with — can’t recommend them highly enough!
If I could give Sarah and Peter 10 stars, I would! CityLux shot our surprise engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. I cannot express how impressed we are with CityLux from ...
every single stage of the wedding planning process! Hiring a photographer for our wedding was the most important detail in our planning - we wanted something to capture our day so that we can accurately remember it forever and we didn't take that decisions lightly. After taking such breathtaking photos of our engagement and making us feel so comfortable in the process, we literally planned our entire wedding (even selecting the date) around the dates CityLux Studios was available in 2021!
From their professionalism and extreme attention to detail, consistent responsiveness to email/questions - they happily met with us/worked with us months before our wedding day to make sure we had everything we needed for the day of. They made us feel like friends/family, which made the entire process enjoyable and gave us so much confidence when it came to the day of the wedding. My husband and I are awkward in front of the camera, but Sarah and Peter made us feel incredibly relaxed, at ease, and insanely comfortable - which resulted in ridiculously candid, real, and authentic pictures that truly captured our entire wedding weekend in a way we couldn't have even imagine. From Sarah literally laying in the grass/mud to get "THE shot" and Peter wrangling our lively bridal party- they took every opportunity they could to bounce ideas off each other and capture insane details which made every shot unique and more impressive than the last. They were never afraid to suggest new ideas and try different locations even when logistical issues and weather tried to complicate our wedding day! I lost count how many people have complimented us - both on-site at the wedding and after the final images were shared - saying how amazing our photographers were and "where did we find them?!"
If you are looking for photographers who will not only cater your special day to your unique needs, give you confidence throughout the entire process, and provide pictures that are beyond what you could ever imagine - CityLux Studios is your answer! Sarah and Peter will forever be our go-to photographers for all of our future milestones and life moments!
About 6 months into wedding planning, things unfortunately didn’t work out with our original wedding photographer. That’s when CityLux swooped in and saved the day! We had reached ...
out to them via their website and they got back to us almost immediately. They were so easy to work with. It was so amazing to get to meet them and work with them prior to the wedding during the engagement shoot they offered as part of the package. They are so much fun and at the same time extremely professional. During the wedding, we hardly noticed they were there but they got the most beautiful shots which is exactly what you want in a wedding photographer. Highly recommend. Look no further and hire Sarah and Peter!

I honestly do not have the words to describe how absolutely amazing CityLux Studios is! Sarah and Peter are an incredible team with an amazing eye and talent for photography. On ...
top of their photos being incredible they are the nicest vendors to works with. They were so helpful during the planning process (especially with the added stress of COVID) and shot our engagement photos, our micro COVID wedding and finally our reception a few weeks ago. The photos from our engagement and micro wedding with more than we could have asked for and though we are waiting on this years reception photos (our event was 10/1) they posted close to 50 "sneak peek" photos in less than 24 hours!!! I know my husband and I will DEFINITELY continue to use them in the future as we hopefully continue to expand our family and want to capture special moments!
Sarah and Peter were a GODSEND for my proposal photos. They were incredibly easy to coordinate with, very responsive and the photos are absolutely incredible. Would work with them ...

us and those came out amazing.
As for the wedding photos, I couldn't have been more thankful or appreciative of their work. They vocalized anything and everything they needed us to do, they gave great direction, and they were constantly checking in on us to make sure we were ok with everything throughout the entire day.
I do not enjoy taking photos for the most part, however with them I felt so calm and loose. We got a great mix of professional photos and goofy photos as well.
I would highly recommend Sarah & Peter of CityLux to anyone that is looking to have beautiful photos done for any occasion.

st friends hyping you up knowing all your best angles. We both aren’t comfortable behind a camera and they made us feel so natural and gorgeous. All my bridesmaids love Sarah and Peter so much and they are already planning on using them for their wedding. Then the pictures came and we struggled to put into words what the pictures mean to us and our family. They are the most beautiful pictures we have ever seen in our lives. They perfectly captured each and every moment. We are planning more shoots so we can hang out with them again! Thank you thank you thank you Sarah + Peter!!

Would highly recommend them!
Sarah and Peter were the best people to capture my proposal to my (now) fiancé. I was pretty nervous about traveling to a different state and coordinating with photographers to be ...
in a predetermined spot to take pictures of the big moment, but their guidance took the stress right out of it.
As soon as I had the consultation phone call, I knew I was in good hands. They worked with me to find the perfect area that was scenic and intimate - and they stayed in contact with me in the month leading up to the date, emailing and texting me to make everything perfect.
Probably the biggest advantage of hiring CityLux is that you get both of them and their skill sets. Peter was able to capture wider, scenic photos of our moment with the cityscape and sunset behind us, while Sarah focused in on the two of us and truly captured the emotion between us.
I was SHOCKED when within two hours of our shoot, they had already sent us a handful of pictures fully edited so that we could share the moment with our family and friends.
They even gave me the recommendation for where we went to dinner afterwards which couldn't have been a better cap to our night. They played a huge hand in making the entire process idyllic.
If you're looking for professional, kind, flexible photographers who take the inherent stress out of a secret proposal shoot, then CityLux is the only option in the Boston area. Just look at their portfolio online and you'll be sold. Thank you both so much for everything.

nd Sarah and Peter were so respectful of COVID guidelines and we felt safe throughout the whole photo session! The pictures came out absolutely beautiful and we now have a large canvas of our favorite :) We are not in the process of planning our wedding and will definitely be considering them as a vendor for the big day! We are cautiously planning for October 2022 in Boston so stay tuned! <3 Much love to Sarah and Peter!!

arned that our photographer (from a different vendor) had photographed a couple who had tested positive for COVID.
We could not believe it, with just two days until our big day, CityLux Studios stepped up to the plate, and saved our wedding day!! After learning of our dilemma, Sarah and Peter were on a call with us less than thirty minutes later panning out all of the intricate details of our wedding day.
Although we were initially disappointed about losing our first choice photographer, my husband and I believe it was truly a blessing in disguise. Right from the start, they were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and took the time to ask great questions, and learn our preferences – just two days before the event. We totally lucked out, as were provided two photographers to capture our wedding day, instead of one (what we had originally chosen).
To date, my mother and I still rave about what a saint Sarah is . She truly went above and beyond the duties of a photographer, helping to keep the bridal party in order and on schedule, so that the events of the day ran smoothly, as I did not have a maid of honor, or wedding planner to assist.
After the big day, Sarah came to the rescue yet again, when I mentioned that I was extremely pleased with how great the teaser photos came out, especially given that I was not happy with the way my hair turned out on my wedding day. Sarah offered the option of a reshoot of just my husband and I in the park. We were thrilled with her proposed solution! We actually got dressed up again, I selected an amazing hair and makeup stylist, and we could not have been happier with the end result. In fact, some of my favorite photos were captured during the reshoot.
We were extremely pleased with how all of the photos turned out and could not have been blessed with a better photographer to capture our special day. The quality of the work was superb with a quick turnaround of approximately four weeks! We cannot thank the CityLux Studios team enough!
My husband and I could not have been happier about having Sarah photograph our wedding. She and Peter were very communicative and accessible during the planning process and were bo...
th so flexible with the changes that we had to make due to the pandemic. On the day, Sarah made a conscious effort to find ways to take lots of fun and unique photos without disrupting the flow of the evening. She was literally up for anything when it came to getting a good picture (e.g. trudging through the snow in freezing weather!) and she was so relaxed and fun to hang out with the whole time. We received our teaser photos the very next day and our full album just a few weeks later. We are so happy with every single photo!! If I'm ever in need of professional photography I will definitely be calling Sarah again :)

nsive. When I found CityLux's profile on The Knot, I sent it to everyone I knew because I was so excited about how stunning their photos were. In communicating with them and meeting them for the first time, they were responsive, helpful, and so easy to talk to and fun to be around. We had so much fun shooting our engagement photos with them. They have such great eyes for angles, poses, and lighting, made 2 very awkward people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and returned the most stunning gallery of photos to 2 people who typically hate how they look in photos. They were also incredibly professional throughout the entire process. These 2 are the real deal, and I would recommend them to anyone!

They were so professional and incredibly fun to work with; they made us feel comfortable right away and we can't imagine having worked with anyone else. We can't recommend Sarah and Peter highly enough and you will love all the images that they capture of your special day!
We loved working with Sarah and Peter for our November 2020 wedding. They were extremely personable and also listened to our wants/concerns regarding our photography. They felt m...
ore like very talented friends that were shooting our wedding than strangers. They were extremely prompt (if not early!) at arriving on our wedding day, knowledgeable on correct posing/lighting, and also very organized with the timeline. They turned our photos back around on time and even surprised us with a USB with a few videos - which was amazing considering that we (regrettably) didn't hire a videographer. A few of my friends raved about their professionalism and wanted to hire them for their own weddings.

They were immediately at the top of the list. All it took was one phone call with Sarah, and I knew they were the right photographers. She is down to earth, super nice and a lot of fun. It was like chatting with a friend! We met Peter at the engagement shoot and he is exactly the same way. Working with them was very easy going and comfortable, which is very important while being photographed. They are an absolute pleasure to be around. And the photos! I cannot even begin to express how much we love our wedding photos! There are so many beautiful pictures to remember our day. It's been difficult deciding which ones to print and frame!
If you are looking for great wedding photographers, CityLux is a must hire. Thank you again, Sarah and Peter!

rd posed wedding photos, and they delivered candid & artistic gems that were better than we could have ever envisioned. However, perhaps more impressive than the photos themselves were Sarah and Peter’s leadership skills. Sarah & Peter are seasoned professionals, and it shows. They stepped outside the mold of photographers and kept us on schedule as we moved throughout our day in a way that was kind and graceful. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of photographers. Highly recommended!
