I didn't believe them at first when they said they could complete family and wedding portraits in 20 minutes and boy, was I wrong! They were so efficient leaving plenty of time for photos of me and my Groom while our family and wedding party got to enjoy most of cocktail hour! When we sat down at the Sweetheart table at the reception, Sarah had a few polaroid photos she had taken while we were getting ready and the ceremony, such a special touch! 48 hours after getting married my husband and I left for our honeymoon and imagine our surprise when we landed in France, Sarah had delivered our Wedding Teaser album! a consultation. We chatted with Peter and Sarah for about an hour and connected so well - we booked right away! Sarah is incredibly responsive, sweet, professional, and has a great eye. We had so much fun at our engagement shoot where we met both Sarah and Peter. They made us feel so comfortable behind the camera. I think we laughed for the full two hours and the pictures turned out AMAZING. We love the "cinematic" editing. Leading up to our wedding day Sarah made sure we were prepped and ready with instructions and a general timeline that fit in with our schedule. We shared a photo list to make sure we captured everyone and everything - no small feat with our large families and guest list. The day of was again perfect - Sarah and Glory were so fun and accommodating. They felt like good friends behind the camera and blended so well with the bridal party and our guests. We even asked for an additional hour to get more dancing shots and Sarah stayed without hesitation. The wedding teasers came so fast, with the full album not long after. Hundreds of beautiful photos. Our engagement shoot was the perfect opportunity to not only develop our relationship the camera but also with Peter and Sarah - which was in fact my favorite part. Even though I only booked for an hour, they came early and started working as soon as they arrived. Their pictures were gorgeous. The proposal was very quick for me and my fiance, but they made sure to catch every beautiful moment during the event, so that we can remember every detail of this previous day of ours. They were also very fast at producing the final pictures. We received a teaser of the pictures on the same day, and all >100 photos were out after only TWO days, which was unbelievable! Therefore, a 5-star recommend!

We probably interviewed 5-7 photography teams and when I tell you there wasn't even a question about who we were going to pick, I mean it. Sarah and Peter could not have been a more obvious choice, and we cancelled our other calls as soon as we talked to them. You're never left waiting weeks or months for teasers, they sent our teaser reel to us after like 3 days (but don't expect it because they're busy guys! Just know it COULD happen and then it's just a lovely surprise). They were so helpful during the planning process (especially with the added stress of COVID) and shot our engagement photos, our micro COVID wedding and finally our reception a few weeks ago. They worked with me to find the perfect area that was scenic and intimate - and they stayed in contact with me in the month leading up to the date, emailing and texting me to make everything perfect. Probably the biggest advantage of hiring CityLux is that you get both of them and their skill sets. Peter was able to capture wider, scenic photos of our moment with the cityscape and sunset behind us, while Sarah focused in on the two of us and truly captured the emotion between us. I was SHOCKED when within two hours of our shoot, they had already sent us a handful of pictures fully edited so that we could share the moment with our family and friends. They even gave me the recommendation for where we went to dinner afterwards which couldn't have been a better cap to our night. They played a huge hand in making the entire process idyllic. arned that our photographer (from a different vendor) had photographed a couple who had tested positive for COVID. We could not believe it, with just two days until our big day, CityLux Studios stepped up to the plate, and saved our wedding day!! After learning of our dilemma, Sarah and Peter were on a call with us less than thirty minutes later panning out all of the intricate details of our wedding day. Although we were initially disappointed about losing our first choice photographer, my husband and I believe it was truly a blessing in disguise. Right from the start, they were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and took the time to ask great questions, and learn our preferences – just two days before the event. We totally lucked out, as were provided two photographers to capture our wedding day, instead of one (what we had originally chosen). To date, my mother and I still rave about what a saint Sarah is . She truly went above and beyond the duties of a photographer, helping to keep the bridal party in order and on schedule, so that the events of the day ran smoothly, as I did not have a maid of honor, or wedding planner to assist. After the big day, Sarah came to the rescue yet again, when I mentioned that I was extremely pleased with how great the teaser photos came out, especially given that I was not happy with the way my hair turned out on my wedding day. Sarah offered the option of a reshoot of just my husband and I in the park. We were thrilled with her proposed solution! We actually got dressed up again, I selected an amazing hair and makeup stylist, and we could not have been happier with the end result. In fact, some of my favorite photos were captured during the reshoot. We were extremely pleased with how all of the photos turned out and could not have been blessed with a better photographer to capture our special day. The quality of the work was superb with a quick turnaround of approximately four weeks! We cannot thank the CityLux Studios team enough!
