CJC Lighting and Production provides affordable, professional lighting and Production services for small to medium size events. CJC Event Lighting services it's various clients and regional businesses with high quality equipment, excellent service and flexibility to meet their needs. We have a large inventory of fixtures and controllers and are fully insured. We have provided lighting for some of Massachusetts finest venues and also provide services for events in Southern Connecticut, New York City, and all over the New England area.
We provide services for Weddings, Social Events, Fashion Shows, Concerts, Trade Show Booths, and Stage Shows. We are industry leaders in the use of computer based lighting controllers for Conventional, Intelligent and LED fixtures combined in an event setting.
CJC Event Lighting prides itself on quality equipment and service. All of our equipment is either brand new or in new condition. We are not a rental company, we do not sell equipment, we are not DJs, we do not just drop some uplights on the floor and call it event lighting, we are dedicated to providing outstanding lighting and production services for your event and are singularly focused on that goal. We do not just rent our equipment out, all events that we light include consultation, lighting design, transportation, setup, and a technician on site during the entire event.

CJC Event Lighting and Production is a wonderful company to work with! They are absolute pros with sound and lighting for an event. We have had them run sound for us at several events and always been very pleased. You'll be glad you decided to hire them!
Jim and his team provide the perfect lighting atmosphere for our wedding celebration. He took the time to meet us at our venue to not only understand what we wanted but also how to best setup in the space provided. In our communications he was always quick to reply and made the whole process super easy.
CJC lighting seamlessly transformed our wide open shoreline venue (a true blank canvas) into a romantically lit and draped intimate space. We couldn’t believe how our vision of a romantic garden-scape came to life so beautifully thanks to the team’s artistry and professionalism.

When I approached Jim with my vision of having a “night under the stars,” he had a confident, can-do attitude. He brought to my attention nuances of the venue that I had never noticed may need extra lighting but was never pushy with suggestions. He and his team worked tirelessly in the days leading up to the event and transformed our reception area into a truly magical place. His communication, professionalism, knowledge and mastery of his craft, were truly remarkable. I strongly encourage anyone interested in adding a little flare to their event to consider hiring Jim.
I never got the chance to work with Jim (my wedding was canceled because of COVID) but he is nothing short of amazing! He understood our vision immediately, incredibly responsive, and one of the most patient and understanding people I've ever met. I cannot recommend Jim and CJC enough, not only for their great reputation and beautiful designs but because they're a group of amazing people who truly go above and beyond for their clients.
Working with Jim at CJC was absolutely lovely! He was kind, professional, on hand personally to make sure everything looked good on the wedding day itself and was, in short, a pleasure to work with. And of course, they total transformed the space into exactly what we wanted – making warm and friendly what could have been industrial looking. We cannot recommend CJC enough!
Jim was a preferred vendor for our venue (Elm Bank) and he worked with us diligently to find a beautiful, vibe-encompassing lighting solution. He installed a beautiful chandelier that we had our first dance under that will look incredible in pictures and video and made our reception seem like a fairy tale. His uplighting also added vibe to the music that made the party portion incredible. He worked with our budget and we’d recommend working with CJC for your wedding lighting needs.
We have nothing but good things to say about Jim and his team at CJC Lighting. He was one of the last vendors we booked, as we weren't sure we needed lighting. Jim was super helpful, very prompt with his communication and super willing to assist us with the entire lighting project. We planned out wedding from out of state, and Jim was willing to meet with our florist/planner at the venue site to walk through design and give his suggestions for enhancement. Jim was very respectful of our budget and made all our lighting needs come true. The room looked absolutely fantastic and was super understated, which is exactly what we wanted. Jim didn't push extra things on us, like some other vendors we contacted. He was fair and was extremely pleasant to work with!!
We used CJC Event Lighting for our wedding in early September. Jim and his team were wonderful to work with. CJC helped to organize our ideas and vision and make it a reality. We walked in to the venue on our wedding day and could not have been happier with the execution. They are trustworthy and reliable, willing to work with your ideas and budget throughout the entire process. Thank you for helping to add beautiful lighting to our special day!
CJC Event Lighting came highly recommended by my reception venue, and I can see why! The process was easy right from the start. Jim is very familiar with my venue and had so many great ideas for lighting schemes - and it was hard for me and my husband to choose which we liked best! The final product was gorgeous and fit the space perfectly. I also really appreciated how responsive Jim was throughout - we usually heard back from him the same day, which makes the planning process so much easier. I'm so glad we found CJC!
It was so easy to work with Jim & his team for our July 1st wedding. They knew the venue very well and offer lots of suggestions for simple summery lighting. We worked together to select various uplighting for the duration of the night to help set the tone from seating to party atmosphere. Through friends photos it is easy to see how light can enrapture a party and push it into another detention. We event shared the same design with the event from the night before to cut down on a bit of cost. Thank you to the whole CJC lighting team for lighting the day for our friend and family to celebrate.

We weren't sure what we wanted to do for lighting and Jim was very helpful! We figured out a simple, classic look that was beautiful. It was also nice to have an onsite technician (included in the costs) who stayed to adjust the lighting into the evening/night.
CJC truly earns their 5 stars. Our wedding was at the Gardens of Elm Bank and CJC installed the lighting for the carriage house and tent. We had uplights, string lights, and draped sheer fabric on the ceiling. We got quotes from 2 other Boston area lighting vendors and CJC's price was the best by far. One vendor tried to tell us that other lighting companies reused fabric which could look dirty or tattered, which was not at all the case with the voile from CJC. Everything was beautiful and they even put up a curtained screen to hide the kitchen door area. Jim was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Overall, he is just an honest and nice person. There was another wedding the day after ours, and he was able to help us accomodate both weddings. We could not recommend him more!

We used CJC for our uplighting needs for our wedding. We got married during the day, so didn't need very much, but were able to coordinate with the couple getting married the night before us at the same venue and split the cost. We ended up with up lighting, sheer panels for the ceiling, chandeliers, and pipe and drape to block certain restricted areas. Everything came out beautifully and Jim was easy to work with. Would highly recommend!
I wasn't entirely into having up-lighting at my wedding reception but my husband was so I agreed to it and was very glad we did it. Our parents whom I figured wouldn't like it either are still talking about how beautiful it looked. CJC was very easy to work with and did an amazing job!
I was a little hesitant about getting uplighting for my reception but in the end I am so glad I did it. It gave the room such a beautiful warm glow. Jim was easy to work with and I am so happy I did this. My pictures look so beautiful and the lighting was amazing.
