w we had to start early to get the best of the best. And we did in Chuck Kolb. Literally every one of our guests in all age groups raved about how terrific Chuck was during Merritt and Chris’s wedding reception. His recommendations and music selections were perfect, his energy level unsurpassed, his talent as an emcee, his ability to present a program in good taste, all made it evident as one of our guests stated with a wave as she danced by, “He is the best DJ I have ever seen!” Chuck is incredibly talented and a true professional. We send all best wishes to Chuck and all in CK Entertainment.

r vendors who not so subtly suggested I rethink that idea I called CK. Immediately the professionalism showed. He walked me through my entire day. I decided I didn't want to risk my day to a "friend" that only place clubs and backyard bbq's. On the day, they showed up early, had a nice professional set up and bored seamlessly with my other vendors. After only a couple of short conversations and a planning packet, he somehow completely got our funky and weird music tastes. I loved that he made my day about us! He had our guests up and dancing the entire night. We are seriously contemplating throwing a big anniversary party next year just to have them come DJ so we can dance that hard again!

off. The entire dance floor was filled. He played a great mix of music from the classics to top 40, fast to slow and everything in between. Never once did I feel like Chuck was talking too much, ending songs early or letting the dance floor empty. He was great to work with, listen to all our requests, checked in during the course of the night and was really open to any suggestions we had about the way the music for the ceremony and the set up of the wedding should be. It was a fantastic experience on all fronts. People have been raving about the music since the wedding ended. My husband and I don’t live in NC so we were basically planning a destination wedding from MA, which Chuck made very easy. He was super flexible and made time for us whenever we were in the area. We relied heavily on email but Chuck was extremely responsive. Everything turned out perfect!

omment on the DJ as I had people comment on my dress or the venue. He was attentive to my desires and my concerns. He was more than competent and made sure that the reception was everything I wanted, and more. He even got out there and led a dance for us! ;) I definitely recommend Bryan for your future events!!

he right music (just from our conversation), got everyone involved in dancing, and even helped with non DJ related things during the reception. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!! I would have her DJ any future event for me and recommend her to anyone!

Kolb. Their relationship wouldn't have been an issue, if he didn't show up uninvited 5 days before the wedding at our home, only to have a temper tantrum in our living room. Chuck and my wedding planner had had some type of fight earlier that day and he came to announce that he would no longer do business with her. Despite the fact that we had a contract, Chuck then gave us the option to find another D.J. or another wedding planner...5 days before our wedding!!! One of his associates agreed to DJ our wedding, but Chuck made it clear that it would not be associated with " CK entertainment" and " they would not be passing our their business cards"...(as if we cared). Needless to say, him and the wedding planner made amends and he showed up...again uninvited to the rehearsal dinner and also to the wedding. He spent most of the night slinking around in the corners and didn't even bother to say a word to us. The D.J. who did work our wedding, mispronounced our last name although we phonetically spelled it out for him. He also announced our wedding party in the wrong order, after going over it 5 minutes prior to the announcements. He forgot to announce a special dance planned for me to do with my stepfather and the maid of honor and best man had to request to do their own toasts. Chuck also kept our $175 deposit money even though " CK entertainment washed their hands of our wedding". Overall I would urge any bride to stay far away from this company if they don't want to deal with drama and unprofessionalism. Unfortunately we were new to the area, so we didn't realize what we were getting in to.

is my wedding day and he did not answer emails and phone calls for 4 months, so I had to hire another DJ and now this guy's business name is being ruined by other vendors throughout eastern NC because they feel bad for me. Oh, and I lost my deposit, what a thief!!!!

at his house just TALKING about the music that we wanted him to play. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night at our reception. He even brought along blow-up guitars and different costumes and had the groomsmen dress up at The Village People and perform 'YMCA'. It was a big hit and made for some really good pictures! Chuck made our reception unforgettable!;Wear comfortable shoes because Chuck will keep you dancing ALLLLLL night long!!
