o busy talking to our guests so when we went to leave to have our sunset photos taken we were trying to grab a few pieces of cheese quickly and they asked if we had a chance to have any of the chicken skewers. When we replied that we had not we were told to hang out a moment and they quickly ran to get us a plate to take with us so we had a snack. When we arrived back from the photos they had our food ready for us immediately. They were so great in making sure we had a chance to stop and eat and having everything ready for us. One of the comments we had been told the most leading up to the wedding was that it's so busy you don't have time to eat and Clambakes made sure that was not the case for us. We were thrilled since their food is so delicious! I would highly recommend them!

Ours was a backyard wedding, so I cannot recommend enough also using their partner company Anchor Tent and Table for your rentals! Having the catering and rentals all coming from the same company was a god send! Made all the planning and coordinating sooo much easier. And if like me, you're not made of money, Clambakes is very affordable! We had an incredible lobster buffet with many appetizers and side dishes, and it was totally within my budget! My whole family, especially my new in-laws who came in from abroad were very impressed. (Thank you Jason and everyone at Clambakes! Everything was excellent!!)

after speaking with Dennis and Jason I knew we'd be hiring them and knew we'd be in good hands. They were responsive, straightforward and very helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. I was thankful to be able to rent much of our dinner table settings from them as well, reducing the number of vendors I had to work with. The staff on the day-of were amazing. Bartenders were on-point and quick, catering staff were friendly, professional and made sure the cocktail reception and dinner went exactly as planned. (They even offered to shell my lobster for me so I didn't risk getting my dress dirty!) We'll definitely use Clambakes again should we have the need.

iginally concerned that the clambake style would be too informal for my wedding, but I was totally wrong. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was incredibly professional, and the service was amazing. Jason went above and beyond to make sure that the day went perfectly. Our cocktail hour started with a raw bar boat, which our guests loved. We also had passed hor d'oeuvres with bacon wrapped scallops and watermelon, mint, and feta, which were super delicious. The clam chowder was also amazing! I was worried that the steak and the chicken wouldn't be very good for the people that didn't like lobster, but I heard from multiple guests that they were both delicious. The timing for the buffet went really well given how many guests we had. We also hired Clambakes to do our bartending, which was great. They brought all of their own mixers and ice and we provided the alcohol. In summary, Clambakes is an awesome, unique, and affordable caterer that you and your guests will never forget.

The lobster you could break open with your hands, the chicken was moist, the vegetarian polenta I was told was amazing, and the steak was so tender my 88 year old grandfather with dentures who is notorious for complaining about even an $80 cut of steak loved it. The staff was friendly upon arrival and during the event they were present constantly serving/cleaning but barely noticed by guests (a great service).

t of that. The food was amazing! And so cool! A lobster bake! (That doesn't break that bank shhh). There were a million details and Jason was on top of all of them. As my dad said later - we wished we could have watched them work to see the secret because we were baffled afterwards on how it ran so smoothly. When they arrived, it was quite funny to see 10 people pile out of the trailer and get right to it (it was almost like a team sporting event). They had all of the details taken care of - from remembering lobster bibs to renting galvanized buckets for shells to leaving no trash, it was such a smooth wedding day experience. Leading up to the wedding, Jason was AMAZING at answering my emails (and I sent quite a few with really minor questions). Some of my more traditional older family members thought that I had lost my mind for booking a vendor without trying the food first, but trust me the food is really great (I lived in NYC for a few years and grew up in New England - I've eaten at a lot of restaurants and a lot of wedding food - this was the best wedding food I've ever had. Quite a few guests said the same). The lobster was perfect; BBQ chicken was great; veggie/vegan/dairy free option (grilled polenta) was good; and I didn't try the steak but my friend from NYC said it was good. Sides were eye catching and tasty. Chowder was incredible. And the appetizers - oh my goodness get appetizers if you book this vendor - the raw bar boat was incredible; bacon wrapped scallops were out of this world, bruschetta was amazing, and I didn't try the rest. Jason was great at helping me figure out how many apps to get without trying to oversell. Such an incredible experience all around!!

was punctual, and the food was amazing! Dinner was a huge hit with all of our guests, and the wait staff was great with all of our young guests who were interested in the lobsters! Also, the bartenders were great, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly throughout the evening. We also rented a tent and some other equipment from Clam Bake, all of which showed up on time and was installed very quickly, with no problems or delays. Overall, our experience with Clam Bake was wonderful, and we would happily contract with them again for other events.

married in September, and at Thanksgiving and Christmas our families still couldn't stop talking about the wonderful food. My husband is a vegetarian, we had vegans and celiacs and shellfish allergies at the wedding, and no problems. Everything was amazing. I would highly, highly recommend!

l the details that were difficult for us to handle from afar were taken care of in advance of our arrival, and even went so far as to point out things we had forgotten (like napkins!). The cuisine was everything we expected and more, and we really appreciated them customizing the menu for allergies and dietary issues. The service was seamless, the food was delicious (especially the chowder) and the portions were quite impressive. We opted for the raw bar as well, which was an excellent addition to the dinner. Most brides later regret not having had a chance to enjoy the food at their wedding - I made sure that I ate every bite of my lobster! It was a delicious choice, and I would book Clambakes Etc again for a large party in a heartbeat!

Jason and his team are happy to work with you to make your event a dream. Everything we wanted, we got. Again, we hired Clambakes Etc for a wedding, where your expectations of service are at it’s highest. Jason and his team did not disappoint! There were countless times during the planning where Jason went above an beyond the call of duty. His communication is clear and respectful. The food speaks for itself. Everyone at our wedding raved about how wonderful the food was and also the day of the event service was exceptional. So attentive and appreciated. If you’re considering Clambakes Etc for your party, I encourage you to stop looking at any other vendor - you’ve found just what you’re looking for. Additionally, several weeks after the wedding (and after I'd paid the invoice), there was a charge on my credit card for something that I did not order. It was removed after I called a couple of times. The clambake itself was a great success but I wasn't overly pleased with the management of services towards the end.

They cooked all of the food onsite so it was very fresh and so delicious. They also supplied all of the paper goods and necessities for eating along with trash cans (they took all of the trash with them). quite small but rubbed me the wrong way. I have a baking business on the side. I made my own cake for my wedding. It was a 5 tiered 30+ inch high Rice Krispie Treat cake. It was pretty fun and funky. Anyway, I paid for the regular servers but paid extra for two "helpers" for the night. I asked them to cut the cake and just leave it there so people can come up and grab a piece of RKT and hit the dance floor. As I was dancing,I noticed they started passing the cake out. "How nice!" I thought. Well, I was wrong. Cause at the end of the night we went to pay them and they said they have to submit a new invoice for a "cake cutting fee". (As a baker, I know some places do this. I just wasnt notified of this.) Anyway, it cost $200 to cut the cake. More than it cost me to make it. Which pretty much stunk.

When we were choosing a caterer we interviewed a lot of different vendors on the cape and when we finally got quotes from them, the prices were outrageous. They would say, well if you adjust the menu and only pick these entrees, it can be a little cheaper. It was a demoralizing experience. Finally, we took a step back and thought about what we really wanted out of our wedding reception. We wanted people to have a good time with family and friends, and celebrate our wedding over delicious food in a classy but not pretentious atmosphere. So, we called Clambakes etc. Jason got back to us, and when we went through our options which, by the way are transparently posted on their website - something very rare in the industry, I was impressed. We booked soon after and the rest of hte planning process was absolutely seamless. Jason was always responsive to our emails and calls had good suggestions for how we can adjust things to better meet our needs. The price was a bargain, pure and simple. Even in the run-up to the wedding when the rental company (American Tent is a very So So to bad company to work with) threw a wrench in the works, Clambakes always had our back. On the wedding day, everything showed up as promised and Clambakes was one of few vendors who required absolutely nothing of my wife and I. They just showed up, and took care of it. Our guests raved about the food. Even the chowder was among the best I've had ANYWHERE! The lobster and shellfish were great as well and surprisingly, the vegan option was a HUGE HIT! The only disappointment was that the oyster boat was such a huge hit that we ran out before I could eat a dozen of them! I cannot thank Clambakes enough for everything!

are AWESOME. We went with the pot style clam bake. We started off with clam chowder & rolls. Then, each person got a good size lobster (or bbq chicken or steak), steamers, mussels, potatoes corn, and chorizo. Last, they put out fruit salad bowls for everyone. There were two guys who catered the dinner. On time. Cooked outside & set up a table inside for service. They were great. We had given them a time for arrival and a time for dinner to be ready and they were spot on. A great plus was that they hung around to collect all of the trash! Each dinner was served in a tin foil tray, which made for easy clean-up. For what you get, price was pretty reasonable. Service was perfect. Quality of the food was perfect. My husband and I eat lobster quite a bit in the summer time with my family so we were pumped to have a lobster bake for our rehearsal dinner. We had some folks who hadn't tried lobster before and loved it...other folks who hadn't had it a long time and were very much looking forward to the dinner. No one was disappointed!! If we ever need another event catered like this, we will definitely go back to these guys and perhaps try their pit-style bake. They know what they're doing and how to do it right!
