Their prices were the best for the value you get. One of the few video companies that offers multiple videographers. So many of my friends don't get videographers which I don't understand because I cannot wait to rewatch what I did get to see and also see the 97% of the wedding I feel like I missed. They got video messages from people at the wedding and video of us getting ready. Should be awesome. Would recommend to any bride/friend for their wedding

My daughter, now son-in-law, Mother of the Groom and husband/Father of the Bride shared tasks involved in all of the plans for hosting the biggest party we've ever thrown. Our daughter gave me the privilege of selecting a videographer vendor and to this moment, I am so satisfied and proud of my selection, Jim and Jeff of Clapboard Video. They did such a remarkable job of capturing THE DAY in our child's life. The positivity, willing to go the extra mile, and creativity were so evident - and heartfelt - from our videographers.
And what my deciding factor on selecting this company surprised many of our family: how they were able to pre-plan and film the groom's first look at his bride, his emotions, and every single word of his vows. Too often, so many of the videos I looked at while deciding on a vendor, were those of the bride. It meant so much to me to be able to tell my future son (!!!) what their video was going to detail in the final cut. I believe that Jim and Jeff are hardwired to be people that have a passion for loving what they do in their professional lives and also innately have the patience of saints on earth.
While planning/discussing the specific highlights we wanted to have filmed, I loved their input and felt my confidence in my decision to hire their company building. Our finished video is exquisite and for our overall budget, one of the wisest investments for the entire week's activities - period.

me how they regretted it and hearing those who did have one talk about how much they cherish theirs I decided it was going to be a necessity. I researched TONS of videographers... TONS and I'm so happy I decided upon Clapboard Video. From the beginning they were extremely professional and prompt in responding to my emails. I cannot say the same for most of the others I worked with in the planning process. The day of the wedding they were just another person in the crowd. While my photographer had me pose here, move there, do this and that I never heard a peep from my videographer. Honestly, I don't even remember him being at the reception at all. My photographer I remember though (oh so many pictures). At one point I heard the General Manager at my venue tell my videographer that she's never worked with a videographer that she liked before until Clapboard. She said this because he was so easy to work with, go with the flow and managed to get great footage without interrupting my day in any way. After the wedding we got our highlight video back exactly one month later. It was sent via email and posted to Facebook so I could easily share with our families who loved the video as much as we did! Our final product was absolutely perfect! Everything from the music to the editing was perfect! I couldn't be more pleased! All the important details were captured from the ceremony to the speeches to our prep time. I would insist to every bride that a wedding video isn't just an option it's a necessity that you will regret if you don't get one and Clapboard has the best value! You get a great product without the outrageous price tag! I would recommend Clapboard Video to everyone!!

The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on the service is because we didn't do a lot of preplanning with CBV. I didn't know what all they needed and we met at the rehearsal, which was crazier than I had anticipated. They just needed information regarding the hotel, start times, etc. but it probably would have worked better had we discussed this via email or phone prior to the event, just for my sanity :) It wasn't a big deal at all, I was just having to juggle a few things at once and everything worked out fine.
The day of the event, they were incredibly professional and fun. They were with us for about 10 hours, including our time getting ready which was special because you capture the nervous laughters, anticipation, and first viewings of family, friends, and parents. I would definitely recommend CBV for anyone needing videography services. And believe me, it is DEFINITELY worth putting into the budget. Our pictures are phenomenal memories too, but it's extra special to relive it through the video.

I wanted one because once the wedding is over... that's it. All that's left is memories, pictures.. and a video. After intense research and watching hundreds of videos I met with two videographers in person, but emailed dozens. We decided to go with Clapboard. Jeff & Jim and their team are fabulous. They met at my house, and they are very protective and particular about their work. They take it seriously and only deliver quality work. My husband is in the military so there was a chance the wedding date would get switched around (which it did..4 times!). Clapboard was with us every step of the way and I kept in contact with them the entire time and they reassured me that they would stick with us! The closer it got to the wedding the more we exchanged information and they got everything they needed so when our big day came I was not worried one bit about anything. Our interviews went well, the music they tied into the video was perfect and everyone loved the photo montage at the reception. We played it right when you entered and it was excellent during our cocktail hour. During the entire day they really catered to us, and made sure every moment, every shot, every little thing was captured. They continually checked in to see what I wanted, and what they had captured already. 2 weeks after our wedding we received our "music video". It had myself and my family in tears, and it was only ten minutes long! They put everything together so well, just that alone made me feel like the money spent was absolutely worth it. Jeff & Jim even checked up after the wedding and we discussed how fun it was, so after it all they felt like friends. They truly connected with us on our big day and really made us feel special. I am very happy we decided to invest in a videographer so we can relive our big day over and over again, more importantly I'm glad Clapboard was able to provide that for us. They are HIGHLY recommended by us!!

Jim and Jeff are very convenient. They offered to come to our home and share their products versus us having to drive to their office. Don't worry, they are not sales guys who try to pressure you into buying the most expensive package, they are two guys who honestly love doing what they do. My husband and I connected with them right away and knew they were the right choice!
It was very important to my husband and I to find vendors who will not only work well with us on the day of our wedding, but with our family and friends as well. We wanted everyone to feel special and have a memory of a lifetime. Clapboard Video did just that! They included our guests as part of our memory and we received so many compliments on how professional they were. 26, 2013 wedding/reception at Wright Patterson Air Force Base! Positively delightful to work with and professional in all interactions, Jeff and Jim went above and beyond their contractual obligations in thoroughly researching the Bride and Groom's desires for the video, their selections of music, and any other nuances unique to their special day. We appreciated Jeff and Jim's willingness to go above and beyond their contractual obligations by coming a day early to ascertain exactly what would be technically needed, dealing with the challenges of base access and capturing our "Opera" flash mob at the end of the ceremony. Within just two weeks after the ceremony they had put together a wonderful "trailer" capturing the essence of day! People who had not attended the wedding reported crying tears of joy based on the artistic way that Clapboard video captured the emotion of the day! The final two DVD product has provided HOURS of JOY as we are able to experience the event from different vantage points...AND... has been a true gift for family members who were not able to attend the wedding. I highly recommend Clapboard video for not only being a great value for the service...but for being the best service available to us in this area! Bravo...Jeff and Jim!!
