She did a great job managing the time we had to spend on pictures. For being a small and sort of quiet person, we were impressed at her ability to "work the crowd" and get people's attention/ cooperation. My husband had been dreading the whole idea of wedding photos, but Wende and her helper made it quite painless for him; keeping it casual and low key. I did not exactly dread the idea of pictures, but was a little worried about how I would end up looking. I was very pleased and rather amazed at how good Wende made me look! And all my girls, too. We had to make a few last minute changes in our wedding day timeline, and Wende and her helper just went with the flow, and still got all the pictures done that we had requested. Her pricing was also very fair. Low, actually, for all we got in our package, so it was nice not to have to blow our budget on photography. I'd say the only down side to Wende Clark is her somewhat remiss organizational/ communication skills. It was a little hard to get ahold of her before and after the wedding, and everything took a little longer than we expected. However, all in all, we had no regrets. We and our families had very positive feelings about working with Wende, and about her work, which I see every day in the beautiful album on my coffee table! And now I am helping my little sister plan her wedding, who is using wedding websites to find some of her vendors. But not her photographer, for which we are thrilled to have hired Wende Clark.

We did the whole package; engagement book, boudior shoot, wedding book and thank you cards, I love how consistent everything looks (not to mention all the compliments we get 😊) and the price was beyond fair. y and was not able to make it so we had a "sub" photographer who showed up 2 hours late and left early. He was also on his phone most of the wedding rather than taking pictures. Wende told us our pictures would be done in 6-8 weeks which is in our contract, but that was over a week ago and now she is not answering my phone calls or emails. She said she is having another family emergency. I just want to know if anyone else is having trouble getting their wedding photos or if it really is just bad luck that all of her family emergencies are on days I requested her services.

Turned out that she was totally right about a few things she thought might happen, and we were really glad we had listened to her advice and planned the day based on it. On the wedding day, she was fun to have around and kept everyone in a pretty good mood about pictures. She had two assistant shooters, one for the wedding and a different one for the reception, and they were both great, too. I've been in weddings where the photographers were grumpy and that ruined the fun of all the time you have to spend taking pictures. Our guests commented to us about the photographers, and everyone seemed to appreciate how hard they worked and how long they stayed. We got our pictures a little over 2 1/2 months after the wedding, posted on her website and also on a CD that is ours to keep. It would have been nice to have gotten them sooner, but it was worth the wait, as we LOVE our pictures!!! I would definitely recommend Wende Clark to everyone.

otographers ALL day! Many photographers you only get for so many hours, but Wende commits to the whole event! Even my guests were telling me she was everywhere! Wende took classics shots, and shots outside the box, she was really open to any suggestions I had and any pictures I wanted without making me feel like I was "putting out the professional". She was really accommodating, took tons of photos, and had great suggestions on how to break up the day so the wedding party didn't get picture fatigue/become cranky! Since she has so much experience, she had done events at both of my venues, which I liked a lot. I can't wait to get them back!!!

I really like the way I look in all of my pictures. Wende spent time setting up big domes that were flashes, and constantly moved them around as she took pictures. This seemed like a lot of trouble to us, as some of our friends' wedding photographers didn't even use a flash all day, and got through the pictures really quick. We kind of felt like we were waiting a lot. But when we got the pictures back.....WOW!!! What a difference! We looked like models from a bridal magazine in some of the pictures, very slick. She did a good job telling us what to do, too, but was not pushy. Well, maybe a little about one certain photo but it ended up being my very favorite so I am glad she kept after me for it!!! Wende was particular about where we took pictures, and she redirected us several times after taking a few pictures, saying that this spot or that spot (that we were interested in) would not look good in pictures because either the sun was too harsh or else it was too shadowy, or whatever. My husband got pretty irritated about this, but we went along with what she wanted to do. We could see what she was talking about when we got the pictures back, because we were all squinty and did not look good at all in the spot we wanted our pictures taken at. Then the spot that she really pushed for turned out amazing, my veil had the sun shining through it and it looked like we were glowing. Really romantic and beautiful! Wende took longer to get my pictures posted on her website than some of my friends' wedding photographers did, who got them done in just a couple of weeks (she took over two months) but I could tell that they put a lot of thought into the way they put the pictures together, and I know they did some retouching, and also some special effects like blurring the background in dance pictures to look dreamy, or making the picture black and white but the flowers in color. My online "gallery" had over 500 pictures in it, and there were no bad ones! I haven't ordered my final album yet, which a designer creates for Wende, but all the albums I have seen have been stunning, so I know mine will be, too. My cousin is going to use Wende for her wedding photographer next fall, and I know she will love her pictures, too. I would recommend her to everyone.

s into going outside, which were the best ones! She started early, at the salon, and then still stayed forever at the reception and got a ton of crazy dance shots. It took her a while to get our edit done, but then so did our videographer (different company) who was also the artistic type. But my husband and I agreed that the final product was well worth the wait! Wende also made a cool guest book for us with our engagement pictures (that she took), that we received many compliments from our guests about. We will be getting a couple more books with our package, which was a really great price! She also gave us the copyright release for all the pictures, which is fantastic to have. All in all, we were very glad that we used her.

ng party photo almost 2 months ago, and I have yet to receive it although they didn't have a problem with charging my credit card. Absolutely terrible service. The bride was very unhappy.

y communicate - don't wait for the customer to ask, let them know what is going on before they become worried. #4 answer emails and phones calls within 24 hours - if you can't do it hire someone who can do it for you. Always use an out of office email response and forward your phone and emails to your phone. #5 know who your customer is and communicate and respect them. #6 understand that the customer may be more than one person and if that is the case don't tell one person one thing and another something different. #7 say you're sorry and take responsibility when you screw up or things get screwed up - don't blame others. #8 don't expect because one customer doesn't have a problem with something that all customers will feel the same. #9 treat your business like a professional operation not a hobby. #10 see #1

le in the pictures. She used a graphic designer to make an engagement book out of my favorite pictures from that day. I used it for people to sign in during the reception. She was great during the wedding photography point. Though we did all hear "Just one more!" about 5 times for each picture. That got annoying quickly but I'm sure the pictures will look great again. And she will also do a wedding book similar to the engagement book with the graphic designer making it look great. She also gave us rights to our photos (which I had to have) so I can make copies of any of our pictures for our parents and other friend/relatives to have themselves.

ictures from the wedding, it was only 2 weeks ago. Communication was a little sketchy. Items weren't mailed out as promptly as she said, I had to email to ask about my engagement cd, ask for access to the online gallery, for receipts to be sent to me.

What I liked is that, unlike some photographers, you don't pay her for the hour. She is your photographer for the whole day. She also has an assistant for the day of the wedding which is nice.

Our package was VERY reasonable for what we got (engagement session, engagement album, wedding album, 2 photographers day of, 2 parent albums). I gave 3 stars because she was 2 weeks later than she said she'd be with our engagement album, and we got our wedding photos over a month late, some of the pictures didn't copy to the DVD correctly and there are pictures (especially long shots) that are out of focus.

y wedding coverage with assistants, and 3 wedding albums (1 for us, 1 for each set of parents)+ we paid our bill in advance for the wedding so we saved a TON of money. We haven't seen any wedding pictures yet but judging from the engagement pictures, we know we will be happy!
