Clark Travel, Wedding Transportation

We were assured at the time of obtaining the original quote (February) and booking the bus (May) that BOTH buses we received would reflect the images on the Clark Travel website (leather seats, Wi-Fi, TVs, plugs.) We were told that Clark Travel only had one bus that matched this description, so they would get one from their sister company, Roadrunner (also out of Austin), and the only differences between the two buses would be the exterior color and that the Roadrunner bus would have no bathroom. None of this was a problem and we happily booked. Fast forward to November, the buses we received did not match the above description in any way. The seats were cloth (in the typically, slightly dated upholstery), there were no bathrooms, no Wi-Fi, no plugs, and I do not recall seeing a TV (the TV was not a feature we would have utilized, however we had been told to expect this amenity.) We had communicated with our guests that we had rented “executive” buses, so it was rather embarrassing to see the final product. Neither bus was from Clark or Roadrunner, and instead were from a company out of San Antonio. At the end of the night my husband inquired as to how much the buses we used would typically go for, and the bus driver quoted us a price far below what we had paid. We reached out to Clark in an attempt to resolve the situation, who offered to take $15 off the hourly charge, however, this still does not get the hourly rate anywhere near where our research shows a bus of this description should be. When we pointed this out to Clark, they stated it was a sold out weekend (it wasn’t when we booked in May) and they would not adjust their reimbursement. They also stated that in our contract we agreed that Clark could use other vendors as needed and that they would meet the minimum seat requirements, however, it does not state that they reserve the right to lower the quality of transportation being offered to their customers. We are extremely disappointed, and definitely did not get what we paid for.

On the day of, they were prompt, the driver was a complete sweetheart and got us where we needed to be safe and sound. I'm in the event planning business and I know exclusively recommend Clark Travel to clients traveling into Austin, and I will definitely use them in the future!

We booked Clark Travel for our wedding because our location was about 40 minutes outside of Austin and we didn't want our guest to worry about getting lost or drinking and driving. The buses were so well maintained and the drivers we awesome! My guest talked about how nice and wonderful both drivers were. I didn't get the chance to meet them since I was running around like a crazy woman the day of, but I am so thankful for their services. Prices are reasonable especially with how nice the buses are and you don't have to worry about the drivers showing up on time or being courteous. Everyone associated with Clark Travel is top notch! I'm super picky and have high expectations, especially as a bride. If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)

This was one the best decisions as our guests could have a good time with no worries about how they would get home. Kathy was great to work with, always professional and responsive to the many emails she received from me. The busses were clean and well-maintained. The drivers were courteous and polite. The day before the event, they provided me with the names and numbers of each of our drivers. I loved that! Oh, and all of this for much less that I was quoted at other transportation companies. I would use Clark Travel again without question!

for their all guests (to and from hotels and event venue) The schedule is always clearly explained, they are never late, and the drivers have always been very friendly and accommodating. I've had nightmare stories with other companies (late, not enough buses, dirty buses, rude drivers - begging for food outside the wedding venue, refusing to shuttle a small amount of guests, etc. The list goes on!) If you are looking for easy and reliable, Clark is the company to call.

pe, so they were perfect for our wedding weekend. I even had people comment how nice the buses were and that they had never seen wood floors in a charter bus until Clark. We had guests stay in Austin and were bused out to Dripping Springs for the wedding, which our wedding weekend was icy and cold with bad road conditions and tricky directions, and each driver was punctual and kept our guests safe. We rented 5 buses, and none of the drivers got lost or were late. The only reason I haven't provided cost information is because I can't remember the total cost, but I DO remember they were cheaper than other bus companies. Also, the office people were so pleasant to work with during the entire booking process. My husband actually left is new tux jacket on the bus, and Clark kept it until we could pick it up a few days later! Overall, I'm beyond satisfied with Clark travel, and think that every bride getting married in the Austin area should use them for their wedding day! My cousin used Clark for her wedding outside of Austin as well, and she was equally as satisfied with their service!

drivers were early, efficient and cooperative. All the staff was helpful and easy to stay in contact with the whole day to make sure guests, wedding party and the bride and groom were safe and on time with their travels. Clark is by far the best transportation company we have worked with in a long time and their customer service was excellent.
