Clary Pfeiffer Photography

a pleasure she is to work with, but I promise you, hiring her was one of the BEST decisions we made and we are so thankful for her! We had three days of events for our wedding in Northern Michigan and because of these two, all our favorite memories were beautifully captured. From the beginning, Clary was so easy to work with – great communication, answered all our questions, was incredible accommodating and made us feel comfortable from the first time we met. This was so important to us. We were looking for a photographer who would be able to deliver classic, timeless photos that still felt personal and were a unique reflection of “us”. She absolutely nailed it! Neither my husband nor I are particularly huge fans of formal photos, so we were a little nervous about how we’d feel being photographed all weekend, but both Clary and Travis have this calmness about them that just puts you at ease. They are both so professional, but at the same time, you feel like you’re taking photos with friends. When we got our wedding gallery back it amazed us how they were able to get some of the shots they did (intimate moments and embarrassing dance moves alike), because you almost forget they are there. They are not intrusive at all, but somehow still manage to capture the most magical moments. If there is one recommendation I can give, it is to invest in your photographer – Clary’s skill and literal art form is well worth your investment to ensure you have the most incredible memories of your wedding captured and memorialized forever! Thank you Clary and Travis, you two are truly the best!!

to COVID in 2020 and then a larger celebration in November 2021. My husband, our families, and I will treasure both sets of photos for the rest of our lives. Clary's shots make us look like we are featured in Vogue Weddings. She truly understands how to capture the most gorgeous light and is as talented with film shots as she is with digital. We had awful weather for our microwedding - it was chilly and rainy and even started hailing at one point! You'd never know it from our gorgeous photos, which is a testament to Clary's expertise. On top of her amazing work, Clary was organized and responsive during our wedding planning (and postponement) process and took the time to understand which types of shots were most important to us throughout the course of our day(s) in advance. I loved working with Clary and cannot recommend her enough!!

rom very early on that she was exactly what we were looking for. If you take a look at her portfolio online, you don't need much convincing to work with her anyways. Getting on the phone with her is really what sold me. She is incredibly real, has a calming presence, and is cheerful but not "excitable." I was so happy to have her seamlessly integrate in our wedding vendor team. While working her magic, she gives direction when you are looking for it, but steps back and lets things happen naturally too--and because of that we have an amazing mix of candid and NATURAL looking photos. My entire bridal party was super impressed with Clary + Travis--they remembered names, kept us organized and on time, came prepared with waters on a hot summer day, and kept the mood lighthearted and fun. I couldn't be happier with the experience and also with the finished product.

cool, and collected on our special day and we really enjoyed working with them. They capture authentic and beautiful photos. We received endless compliments from family and friends on how beautiful our wedding photos were and were so excited to be able to look at them for decades to come. Thank you for everything Clary and Travis!
