While I was hazy on what I wanted for many of our wedding details, one thing I was SURE I wanted was classical/Spanish guitar for the ceremony and cocktail reception. After doing a...
search and checking out a few musicians, Miles' work really stood out for me. Within days of me contacting him, he sent us a sample cd, which was incredible. We happily booked him and are so glad we did. When I told him the song I envisioned walking down the aisle to, he made the extra effort to learn the song since it wasn't on his song list. The morning of the wedding, I kept it together for the most part. Then right before I walked down the aisle I heard the first few strains of the song I requested. Almost lost it right there! Thank you, Miles, for bringing even greater intimacy and emotion to our wedding with your beautiful music.
We hired Miles for our wedding and could not be happier. He sent us a demo CD to introduce us to the wide variety of music he can play and we were blown away by his talent! We ...
knew instantly that he would be the perfect musician for our wedding. Our wedding was latin themed, so we wanted to find a guitarist who could play a range of latin songs, spanish classics, etc. and he exceeded our expectations! He played beautifully during our ceremony and cocktail hour and our guests loved his music. In addition to the latin songs, he also played some jazz and various other popular songs. He arrived on time, was professional, and played absolutely flawlessly. We highly recommend Miles for your wedding or other special event. Thank you, Miles, for doing a perfect job setting the latin atmosphere at our wedding!
Amazing music! Beautiful and flawless! One of the best guitarists that I've had the pleasure of listening too! He was perfect for our wedding and his diverse music options kept eve...
ry guest wanting more! Miles is very professional and communicates with you on any preferences prior to the event. He was so amazing that we asked him to play at another event we were having later that month. Thank you for being part of our special day, Margaret & Brett
Miles was WONDERFUL! We hired him for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in November and he was such a PRO. Prior to the wedding he was so easy to work with. He even offered to...
learn a song from our favorite musical (Hamilton, "Dear Theodosia") for when we walked down the aisle. It meant so much to us and he executed it perfectly!!!! I would highly recommend Miles to add the perfect ambiance to any event. Thank you for adding so much happiness to our day!
If you are looking for a talented guitarist for a social event, then I would like to very highly recommend Miles. He performed prelude music and ceremony music at my wedding, and t...
he music was fantastic! Miles was easy to get in touch with, he is responsive to emails, and he sent us a demo CD to let us hear what his performance sounds like and also to provide examples of ceremony music. We requested "signed sealed delivered" which was not on his song list, and he went ahead and learned it and was able to play it for our recessional. Miles is an absolute professional, and went above and beyond.
Miles Moynier was a great guitarist for pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour. He was on time, professional, and very entertaining. Miles sent us a CD to review, and worked wi...
th us to pick songs we liked. One of the things I really appreciated was that Miles learned “The Lava Song” for us. I wish I could have heard him play more, because he was so good.
I hired Miles to for the ceremony and cocktail hour portions of my wedding day. I went with a guitarist over other alternatives because I felt it fit in well with my outdoor winery...
/vineyard wedding. Musically, Miles delivered exactly what I was looking for in terms of song selection and theme. Miles was even willing to learn the song that my heart was set on for my bridal march, as it was not yet part of his repertoire. Miles arrived well before the start of the ceremony to begin playing as guests arrived, and during the ceremony he read his queues well on when to stop one song and start another. Unfortunately, as the bride, I really only had the chance to hear Miles playing during the ceremony, but I have been hearing rave reviews from my guests about how great the music was during the cocktail hour, with one guest even asking me for his contact information. I distinctly remember while I was off taking photos, hearing the lively Spanish style guitar from off in the distance, and wishing I could have been at the cocktail hour to enjoy it fully. I would highly recommend Miles Moynier to anyone looking for a talented guitarist to perform at their event or party.
He plays amazing and he's on time. Really nice guy also. Highly recommend him!
Miles played during my ceremony and cocktail hour. He was so great and easy to work with and the music was beautiful! He had great suggestions when I talked to him about my song se...
lections for the ceremony. He is very experienced and professional. I wish we had had him play for longer!
I used Miles as the guitarist in my wedding ceremony. He was very friendly to talk to on the phone before the Big Day, and he gave some really helpful suggestions for the types of...
music to be played and how the ceremony should go (I was planning the rehearsal on my own, no wedding planner.) He played some flamenco selections for half an hour before the wedding, which really added to the ambience of the botanical garden setting. I really wanted to walk down the aisle to "Stairway to Heaven", which he played with his own flamenco style thrown in...I LOVED it. His services were totally affordable, and much more elegant than using an iPod (DJ was way out of our budget.) He also brought his own sound amplification. He was dressed very cool, and was right on time. Highly recommended!!
I have a very hard time getting on the phone to talk to someone, let alone getting to sit and meet them face to face. So after much emailing back and forth and setting our much lis...
t Miles was booked for our ceremony.
He was fantastic. He sends you a CD with samples of him playing and when I finally did get to talk to him on the phone (a week before my wedding) he even played over the phone!
The nicest guy! A most talented guitarist! The first time I saw him was when I walked down the aisle. The music was flawless. With all the husle and bustle of the ceremony then straight into the photos, I never even got to meet him!
If you're going for live music, you absolutely must use Miles!
I hired Miles for our ceremony only and have no complaints. As a bride, the music is something that you don't notice much as you're walking down the aisle, but I was pleased with t...
he overall interactions with Miles.
My wife is a professional musician, and music is important to her. Miles exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.
My husband and I didn't want musicians at the wedding, but my mom insisted and said that she would reserve one whether we wanted somone or not. So we figured we should at least pla...
y a role in choosing the musician if there's going to be one!
I still haven't met Miles, as I was an out-of-town bride. He was great to talk to over the phone, had wonderful suggestions, and was the only guitarist who followed through with our request for a demo CD. The day of the wedding he was absolutely wonderful, playing only the music we picked and was quite unobtrusive about the whole day. Absolutely no regrets about hiring Miles, I can't imagine my wedding without him!
Miles was a wonderful addition to our early September wedding. He was so easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding itself and he performed beautifully the day of the weddi...
ng. We utilized him for our ceremony and cocktail hour. The variety of music he offers is amazing and truly added a special touch to our special day!
Miles played at our ceremony and our cocktail hour. He was very professional, and the music was great!
Miles was great--he played a great mix of songs with his guitar. Wonderful dinner music.
He's very talented. We had an outdoor ceremony so him playing his classical guitar just sounded perfect!
