Classical Guitarist - Miles Moynier

Miles Moynier was a great guitarist for pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour. He was on time, professional, and very entertaining. Miles sent us a CD to review, and worked with us to pick songs we liked. One of the things I really appreciated was that Miles learned “The Lava Song” for us. I wish I could have heard him play more, because he was so good.

I hired Miles to for the ceremony and cocktail hour portions of my wedding day. I went with a guitarist over other alternatives because I felt it fit in well with my outdoor winery/vineyard wedding. Musically, Miles delivered exactly what I was looking for in terms of song selection and theme. Miles was even willing to learn the song that my heart was set on for my bridal march, as it was not yet part of his repertoire. Miles arrived well before the start of the ceremony to begin playing as guests arrived, and during the ceremony he read his queues well on when to stop one song and start another. Unfortunately, as the bride, I really only had the chance to hear Miles playing during the ceremony, but I have been hearing rave reviews from my guests about how great the music was during the cocktail hour, with one guest even asking me for his contact information. I distinctly remember while I was off taking photos, hearing the lively Spanish style guitar from off in the distance, and wishing I could have been at the cocktail hour to enjoy it fully. I would highly recommend Miles Moynier to anyone looking for a talented guitarist to perform at their event or party.

Miles played during my ceremony and cocktail hour. He was so great and easy to work with and the music was beautiful! He had great suggestions when I talked to him about my song selections for the ceremony. He is very experienced and professional. I wish we had had him play for longer!

I used Miles as the guitarist in my wedding ceremony. He was very friendly to talk to on the phone before the Big Day, and he gave some really helpful suggestions for the types of music to be played and how the ceremony should go (I was planning the rehearsal on my own, no wedding planner.) He played some flamenco selections for half an hour before the wedding, which really added to the ambience of the botanical garden setting. I really wanted to walk down the aisle to "Stairway to Heaven", which he played with his own flamenco style thrown in...I LOVED it. His services were totally affordable, and much more elegant than using an iPod (DJ was way out of our budget.) He also brought his own sound amplification. He was dressed very cool, and was right on time. Highly recommended!!

I have a very hard time getting on the phone to talk to someone, let alone getting to sit and meet them face to face. So after much emailing back and forth and setting our much list Miles was booked for our ceremony. He was fantastic. He sends you a CD with samples of him playing and when I finally did get to talk to him on the phone (a week before my wedding) he even played over the phone! The nicest guy! A most talented guitarist! The first time I saw him was when I walked down the aisle. The music was flawless. With all the husle and bustle of the ceremony then straight into the photos, I never even got to meet him! If you're going for live music, you absolutely must use Miles!

I hired Miles for our ceremony only and have no complaints. As a bride, the music is something that you don't notice much as you're walking down the aisle, but I was pleased with the overall interactions with Miles.

My wife is a professional musician, and music is important to her. Miles exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

My husband and I didn't want musicians at the wedding, but my mom insisted and said that she would reserve one whether we wanted somone or not. So we figured we should at least play a role in choosing the musician if there's going to be one! I still haven't met Miles, as I was an out-of-town bride. He was great to talk to over the phone, had wonderful suggestions, and was the only guitarist who followed through with our request for a demo CD. The day of the wedding he was absolutely wonderful, playing only the music we picked and was quite unobtrusive about the whole day. Absolutely no regrets about hiring Miles, I can't imagine my wedding without him!

Miles was a wonderful addition to our early September wedding. He was so easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding itself and he performed beautifully the day of the wedding. We utilized him for our ceremony and cocktail hour. The variety of music he offers is amazing and truly added a special touch to our special day!
