Yes, you read that right: Llamas. At. Weddings. It's a thing and it's llamazing. We also have alpacas, so our business in Classy Camelids (camelid being the parent name of llamas and alpacas). OK, so we are not a "photobooth" per-say. But we are a photo-oriented experience your guests won't soon forget! Plus, there's no llama category. Classy Camelids, LLC is a sister-partner to Mtn Peaks Therapy Llamas & Alpacas, sharing these magical animals for therapy and educational interactions inside nursing homes and special-needs groups. By entertaining your guests during your wedding day celebrations, you help our farm continue to share the llama llove with those who need it most throughout our community! What We Do: Most couples prefer we arrive mid-ceremony, while all your guests are fully distracted on your love for each other. Once you say I do and kiss your way into marriage, you can come meet your fancy and festive llamas/alpacas for your own meet and greet photo time. This is a perfect chance to decompress from all the preparations that day while your guests are being instructed on cocktail hour and making that transition. Then, walk your wedding llamas/alpacas into cocktail hour for a reaction you won't ever forget! As your friends and family are interacting and bonding over this unique opportunity, you can disappear to enjoy being married, take photos, or even eat, knowing your guests are engaged in something other than the open bar ;) You will notice that in many of our photos, our animals are not even wearing a lead rope. This is because they are not forced to participate, they want to! We have been sharing our llamas/alpacas for over a decade for therapy interactions, and when folks began wanting to include us in their celebrations, weddings came along and gave our farm new life. We not only love celebrating with you as a couple, we get to share how magical these animals are for therapy with your guests and bring smiles to our community in a whole new way. Although our farm has 11 llamas and alpacas, we only ask our most experienced animals to attend weddings to ensure the animals you invite enjoy being social and are exceptionally well behaved.
