Claudia is an amazing photographer… one look at her portfolio will tell you that! What was even more wonderful was her kind and fun personality. I am very introverted and needed a “people break” during my wedding. Claudia disappeared with me and my now husband to have a downtown Savannah photo shoot. Claudia photographed our small wedding ceremony last year and this year photographed our rehearsal dinner and larger wedding ceremony. All of our pictures were so beautiful and so nicely edited, but I am especially in love with our photos from our larger wedding, somehow she was able to capture so many candid moments along with taking beautiful and creative formal portraits. Claudia was also able to get so many wonderful pictures of our guests enjoying the reception and I love looking back and seeing how much fun our guests had. Along with her beautiful work, Claudia is kind, responsive, professional and works very quickly.

Claudia did a wonderful job photographing our April 29th wedding in Louisville, KY. She was able to stay hyper- organized, despite a few big changes to the overall prep schedule, and she captured the most important moments leading up to the ceremony and beyond. The ceremony itself was a traditional Hindu one and Claudia ensured that each step was thoroughly documented. Additionally, due to wedding party photos needing to be cut short due to excessive sunlight and running over schedule, she generously offered to take more photos of myself & the groom in our beloved home city of Brooklyn a few weeks after the actual big day. Our photos are gorgeous, natural, and ones that we are so happy to have and cherish.

I would definitely recommend Claudia! We hired her to shoot our wedding at Greenpoint Loft in May. I am a little late to write this review. It’s been a whirlwind since the wedding, but they did such a great job, I wanted to make sure I still wrote one! :) Both her and her assistant were so great! My husband and I were married at the Plaza Hotel in August of 2016. We used Claudia's services for both our bridal shots and our rehearsal dinner photos. She was extremely professional, friendly, and took absolutely gorgeous photos. Unlike many of the top photographers we reached out to, she was extremely responsive and provided our photos within a very short amount of time. She was also very flexible in terms of taking the shots we wanted and finding a time to meet with us that fit our schedules. I would absolutely use her services again and would recommend her to all my family and friends.

Claudia was fantastic! She was great at capturing all of the emotional moments of our wedding, and she has a real talent for getting the expressions on people's faces! She was also good at being invisible much of the time, so that we weren't self-conscious. Her photos were also great at getting different views of the same speech or moment-- she moved really quickly around to capture different perspectives and different folks' reactions. She also did some very artistic shots of the venue and of us the morning before the wedding at a local park. Her prices were also affordable for the amount of time we needed and certainly better than some other NYC wedding photographers we had checked out.

As most brides can attest (if they are being honest), my wedding day was a blur... That's why I was so grateful to have Claudia McDade as my photographer. She agreed to photograph our wedding only a month before our date and we were not expecting a whole lot given our modest budget. However, Ms. McDade exceeded our expectations. Our wedding photographs are beautiful and they capture the sunny July weather and lush natural foliage of our outdoor venue. I knew that I would be critical of photographs of myself but I was pleased that there were quite a few that I really liked. It was a very hectic day and I was pleased that Ms. McDade captured photographs of the venue, flower arrangements, ceremony, reception, cake and other details that I did not have an opportunity to take in. The only thing I wish I had requested more of was photographs with my family. However, we are still very pleased with the professional service and finished product that we received from Ms. McDade. Also, Ms. McDade is a lovely person to work with because she is very kind, compassionate, and creative. Overall, we are very satisfied with our wedding photographs. The way she presents you with your images is unique and beautiful, it's a box with a photo from the Ceremony on front and back. It will bring a tear of joy to your eye when you open it. Claudia was an absolutely amazing artist, we used her at your Indian wedding memorial day 2014, and I couldnt've picked a better vendor. as I went someone non traditional and non familiar with Indian wedding, she went above and beyond, and it really showed with her work. I can recall in the initial stages of my wedding planning, coming across Claudia's work. I immediately fell in love with it! I knew I wanted to hire her as our wedding photographer. My husband is currently stationed in Ft. Benning, GA but that wasn't a problem for us. Claudia and I were able to skype together due to our distance and the meeting went great! On the day of our wedding, preparations sped up real fast and I became a little anxious making sure everything would come together. We're thankful to have had amazing wedding planners but Claudia made me feel real at ease in our bridal session and I was able to relax. I had alone time with her and I started to have fun with it! After all, it's your Big Day! I wasn't worried about the wedding stress at all having her shoot the wedding. I loved that there was a second shooter with the guys so that nothing would be missed. They were amazing! Claudia McDade's work is so gorgeous! I had no doubt in my mind they would capture great memories. When I received my (very beautiful case) CD, I couldn't have been happier with the images. They were very natural and expressed our day perfectly. A big thank to Claudia and her team!

Claudia McDade is an incredible artist! Her photography surpassed my expectations and is one of my favorite parts about my wedding! The thing that blew me away more than anything about Claudia is how comfortable we felt with her! She has a wonderful way of not only coming in a photographer, but it's just like a friend is taking the pictures! I could not be more happy with our entire experience!

We absolutely loved working with Claudia McDade Photography, from the very beginning. Because we were out of town planning our wedding, we interviewed her over Skype. That was a huge plus for us because of her flexibility, but also it was an indication of her understanding/mastery of technology. While Skype doesn't seem like a big deal as far as mastery of technology, there are some photographers that have no clue how to use Skype! Nonetheless, we first met Claudia in-person at our engagement shoot. A week, or maybe even a few days before the shoot, I finally figured out what we wanted in a shoot. Because we loved to travel, I emailed Claudia to let her know that we wanted a travel theme, specifically mentioning doing the shoot at a local airport hangar. She called around to local airports, and when she couldn't get what we were looking for, she came back with an incredible alternative. Our engagement photos were to die for! They looked as if they should've been in a magazine. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos and they were truly stunning. One of the things I observed during the engagement shoot and during the wedding is that Claudia doesn't necessarily take a lot of photos... well I guess she does take a lot. But she knows what she wants, and will have you take two or three photos, and with those two or three photos she will have gotten the perfect shot. I also loved how comfortable she makes you feel. She has poses in mind, and she shows you them, and when you're shooting she gives you feedback. She makes you feel as if you're a model and she's shooting you for Vogue. One thing that I'd heard from a lot of friends going into the wedding planning process was to send a shot list to the photographer - because the photos will be mostly all that you have to remember the day. I've heard and read wedding photographer horror stories. One person said that she asked the photographer to get photos of her family, and instead she got a bunch of photos of people she barely knew on the dance floor. Another person didn't get their wedding photos for months. Claudia was none of this. We asked for photos of every table at the reception, we got that. We asked for photos of people dancing, we got that. We got EVERYTHING that we asked for and more. She goes above and beyond, and gave us far more than what we expected, in a VERY timely fashion. She was incredible and we couldn't be happier. You will get what you want and much more with Claudia McDade Photography. And I should also note, she was very affordable.

I had an idea for the look I wanted in my wedding photographs. I began my photographer search online and was imediately drawn to Claudia's work when I saw a blog post from a wedding she had done. It was everything that I was looking for!!! When I met her in person, we just clicked and I knew I could trust Claudia to capture my wedding perfectly. She and her staff were amazing the day of, they relaxed me when I was stressed. My wedding photos are AMAZING!!! It's such an unbeatable value, when you compare the quality od her work and prices of other photographers in the area. This review is coming from a self-proclaimed OCD Bride who is very picky about important photos (especially of myself)! Claudia McDade was referred to me by a friend and I will say without a doubt she EXCEEDED my expectations. Everything from the lighting, to the filters, to the angle of her lens, she took the most amazing photos of our special wedding day while capturing so many precious moments...just like a true professional would. I am so fortunate I trusted Claudia to capture our day because I am convinced nobody could have delivered better pictures or service. My husband, family, friends, etc were all very impressed with how our photos turned out- I could not be happier. The icing on the cake was that she is very reasonably priced as well. For reliable, artistic (i.e. Non-cheesy) classy, high-quality professional work, Claudia is it. We will absolutley have her take important photos for us again in the future and I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially for important occasions (like your wedding) where memories can unfortunately fade, but photographs can say 1,000 words and be kept forever.

I've worked with Claudia on a few special events in my life and she has ALWAYS done an exceptional job.
