Claudina’s studio located at the heart in Overland park, offers different types of services, including wedding hair and makeup. We work very hard to provide the best atmosphere and of course making sure our brides are happy for the most important day of their life.
Owned and operated by Claudia Cortez from El Salvador, she has been in the beauty industry since 2002 both in the United States and Central America.
Claudia moved to the United States in 2011 and continued the hairstyle business in Kansas City. Claudia has been working with brides in the KC area since 2012 and has expanded her client base and relationships from doing so. She has gained training from different experts that offer bridal services hair and makeup.
In 2016 Claudia founded her salon, and in that year was awarded her first KC Fashion Week for hairstyling the runway models. Claudia also participated in fashion week paris 2019 and the 2020 fashion week in New York.
In 2020 Claudia moved her salon to 83rd and metcalf and added some coworkers to the team. And now Claudia offers the services for the wedding day.

onsive. I was working on a deadline and decided to try Claudina’s. I messaged in the evening and had a call back the first thing the next morning. Bonus? They spoke Spanish. My soon to be daughter-in-law is Panamanian and can speak English, but is more comfortable relaying her thoughts in her language. She had a picture of what she wished her hair and makeup to look like for her special day and the girls made sure that is what she got. Myself and sister-in-law were able to be in the salon with her taking part in the experience. I would highly recommend their studio for your special day as well.

bad reviews about not showing up for brides. I hired Claudina a couple weeks before the wedding and thank goodness she was available because I never heard from the first hair stylist again! I had 6 bridesmaids, myself, and my mom all getting hair done and she was able to finish us all with time to spare. She was punctual, friendly, very easy to work with and did great work. I wish I had booked her in the first place!
