each person was positioned precisely. There were some awkard spacing, clothes and other fabrics were not positioned right, just not something I was expecting from a professional photographer. And while they were there, they looked like they were not mentally there and just wanted to get the shots in, so kind of rushed. The pictures came out nice and clear but not the best. If anyone wants to book them, make sure to ask them if the positioning looks good, if anything looks off, etc. I wouldn't mind booking them again, but if I did, I'd make sure everything looks alright.

In the beginning, my husband and I hopped on a facetime call with Clay and Maggie to discuss our vision for our engagement photos and wedding photos. Without a doubt, they listened to every detail and took note of every one of our requests! They were able to capture an amazing outdoor atmosphere out of a disc golf track for our engagement session! I asked for "in the moment" photos for our wedding, and they did not disappoint! Clay and Maggie captured every photo I listed on my shot list and, without hesitation, sent me a copy of a bridesmaid that I thought they missed (I had 10 bridesmaids, so it was a lot of formal photos to capture, cull, and edit!). Clay and Maggie created a flow of events the day of the wedding that kept both me and my husband relaxed. They were gentle with our timeline so we didn't feel rushed, yet kept us on track and pushed through to be on time throughout the evening. They kept me at ease (which was extremely important to me being a "type A" bride) and let us enjoy our day together. They quite literally captured every "in the moment" photo I could have ever asked for. I am eternally grateful for my experience with Clay and Maggie and would choose them again and again! They were EASILY one of the best decisions in my wedding planning journey.

They were highly professional, prepared, and got us our photos in a timely manner even in the midst of some big life events on their end. now getting our engagement photos back, it has been absolutely wonderful working with them. We can't wait for our wedding photoshoot! Extremely easy to work with and they are exceptional during the shoot, making my fiance, Tessa, and I both comfortable while taking photos (we don't take a lot of photos, so this was awesome). Clay even brought hand warmers and let Tessa use them (the shoot was in January and it was very cold). Cannot recommend them enough!

. They are so much fun to be around and have a great energy. When we did our engagement pictures, we spent so much time laughing and enjoying the time we had. We got our engagement pictures back about 3 weeks after we took them. During our wedding, it was so nice to have both Clay and Maggie there to capture 2x the moments. Maggie was so much fun while my girls and I were getting ready and I know the boys liked hanging out with Clay too. They were totally on it with all of our requests and made sure we got every shot quickly and efficiently. We got our wedding photos back right at 6 weeks after our wedding, and they are ABSOLUTELY dreamy! Our families and friends have given us so many compliments on them as well. I know we will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives, and we are so happy that we choose Clay and Maggie for our wedding and engagement pictures.

ndor 😂 My main desire for our wedding day was that it felt very natural, not very scheduled or staged, and that my husband and I just got to be in the moment and not pulled off for pictures or poses all the time. Clay and Maggie were like ninjas, blending in with our bridal party, joking around with our families, and capturing those natural moments we wanted most. They were super flexible on timeline of the wedding day, letting us pick what was important to us and then taking care of the remaining details so we didn't have any extra decisions on our shoulders. Our pictures are so natural and raw and perfection; they capture our joy and excitement to a freaking tee. We just purchased our first home and we can't WAIT for Clay and Maggie's work to be the first thing our guests see when they walk in the front door because you can bet your bottom dollar we are hangin' our photos EVVVERYWHERE. beginning and were very patient with us when planning our engagement shoot. During the actual wedding they were fun, easy to work with, and I felt like they went above and beyond. The photos from our wedding turned out phenomenal, as well. The only frustration was their lack of communication towards the end. I don’t think their lack of communication happens with all their clients, because they were great at the beginning. They had life get in the way, which we understood. I would still recommend these photographers any day, but I would just recommend to communicate on both ends!
