First of all, WELCOME! I am so glad you’re here and have made it this far in your wedding planning journey! I’m Andrea, the Owner and Venue Director of Clay Theatre! My contractor husband and I took an abandoned movie theatre and turned it into the most awesome wedding venue in Northeast Florida! People travel from so far away to get married at our venue and we couldn’t be more excited to get to celebrate with so many cool people! Send us a message and let’s get this party started!

They’re super responsive, professional, and offer amazing vendor recommendations—you truly feel like you’re in the best hands. On our wedding day, they even surprised me with the sweetest touches: complimentary treats, a candle, and Veuve Clicquot champagne as a wedding gift 🥹. Their contract is also refreshingly straightforward and reasonable—no weird fine print, no gimmicks, no stress. I am beyond grateful for the care and thoughtfulness they put into our day. They really took their time to get to know us and reach out all the time. Everytime I had a question they answered me via text and email the SAME DAY… crazy… not typical lol. A huge shoutout to Hilary and Christina. Christina did our initial tour and answered so many questions to make me feel so welcomed. This made our wedding day so smooth and stress-free. Our guests loved that they also could stay in one venue all night. Cristina went above and beyond for us. They were professional, organized, and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish. One of the biggest highlights of working with the Clay Theater team was their strong network of trusted vendors. They have established great relationships with some of the best florists, photographers, caterers, and DJs in the area, and they provided us with a list of recommended professionals who fit our style and budget perfectly. It was a huge relief to work with vendors who were already familiar with the venue and its layout, which made the entire process run so smoothly. Clay Theatre. Everyone was professional, organized, and encouraging. I can I truly had a fairytale wedding at this beautiful venue. We looked at several places- even in Italy where we live, and chose to book here (I am originally from Florida). The bridal/groom suites to get ready in had amazing lighting for our makeup/hair artists to work in and were perfect for our getting ready pictures. I can’t talk enough about Cristina who was our day of coordinator. When we met her on our 30 day walkthrough she was so professional and helpful- bringing up things I hadn’t even thought of and giving advice where needed. The day of the wedding, she was on top of everything ensuring everyone was following the timeline for the day and into the night. She made our day so easy for us and we did not have to worry about a thing!

c perfectly. The club lights added to the fun of the reception when it was time to dance, but also acted as an accent to our theme during dinner. There are so many options for styling the reception and ceremony spaces, no matter the theme you’re going for, which was a big plus for us. The bridal and groomsman suites were gorgeous, we were all so comfortable and had everything we needed for the entire day. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather on our day, so the outdoor ceremony in the courtyard was beautiful. But plan b of having it inside the reception space was also a great option. Finally, all the staff were super nice, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. They worked really well with our wedding planner and all our vendors from the day we booked Clay. The staff working on the day of made sure we had everything we needed the entire day through the end of the night, while also not being instructive or drawing any attention away from the wedding. The whole day went seamlessly, I couldn’t have asked for a dreamier, more perfect experience from Clay Theatre!

u s. So much thought and attention to detail went into every aspect, even the bathrooms. The venue has so much beauty in just itself that we decorated very minimally to not detract. The space hosted our 75 person wedding so comfortably. Between the courtyard ceremony, the reception space, and the bar/lobby area, nothing ever felt crowded or overwhelmed. Then there’s the team. They were so easy to work with and flexed with us when our plans were changed by COVID twice. Not only were they sweet enough during this process, they also made themselves available for any questions. Most importantly for us, our pup was supposed to be our ring bearer and he was diagnosed with lymphoma about 9 months out from our final date. Because we knew he wouldn’t make it, the girls at the Clay Theatre were kind enough to let us come and play dress up in our wedding attire so that we could have those photos with him. We are so grateful to them. When our actual wedding day finally came in August 2021, they were there and ready to help with setting up the bar and all our little details. We used our pretend wedding photos for the poster boxes out front and they were kind enough to put them up during the ceremony so that nobody got a sneak peek at my dress. Throughout the event, the team was so good that even if there was problems, we didn’t know. They handled everything and weren’t ever invasive about it. And then there’s Lauren who did our day of coordinating. She is INCREDIBLE. 1,000% recommend choosing her for your wedding planning needs. We cannot say enough good things. She listened and created the wedding flow of our dreams. It was set to rain before we planned to do our golden hour photos and she grabbed everyone to make sure we got some photos before the rain. She made sure the timeline moved and kept everyone from the bridal party in line and doing what they were supposed to. The wedding would not have been the same without her. Lauren Cowgill, wedding coordinator, is absolutely a God sent and took my jumbled unorganized indecisive Pinterest board and created something more beautiful than I ever could have imagined!! They also had recommendations for every vendor you'll need (photographer, caterer, DJ, etc) which made it much more manageable to explore my options and make a decision. Almost a month later I am still getting compliments from guests! Without question, have your special day at the Clay theatre and I promise you will not regret it!

a always answered every email quickly and had such great suggestions for some vendors I just didn't know who to go with. Lauren (the in-house planner) is a legit rock star and made our day so seamless...if anything went wrong I never even knew about it. The grooms room and bridal suite are beautiful perks that make the day that much more seamless. We booked our wedding 5 months before they even opened in the thick of construction and we are so glad we took the leap of faith. Do not hesitate...just book them!

there's nothing else like it! From the white brick, gold and marble accents, and incredible chandeliers/lighting, this place kept us from having to purchase really ANY decor. It was beautiful in and of itself! - We loved that it offered an indoor AND outdoor space - both equally beautiful - Having a spacious bridal suite and groom's room to get ready in was SO IMPORTANT the day of that we hadn't even thought to look for in a venue - And finally, the team that owns the venue is incredible. Andrea has become such a great friend and did EVERYTHING to make sure that my husband and I were thrilled with our big day (and all the moments leading up to it). We can't recommend Clay Theatre enough!
