Had rehearsal dinner here and wedding room block and it was perfect! Great communication and handed out welcome bags.
We had a great time using Clearwater Casino Resort for all of our wedding guests to stay at and for our Welcome Reception the night before the wedding, and for outdoor brunch the morning after! There were rooms different sizes for different guest needs, we enjoyed the Casino, pool, and restaurants in between events, and the staff helped to setup perfect spaces for the Welcome reception and brunch!
The hotel was beautiful and the younger guests thought the casino was fun. They were great about shuttling our guests to and from the wedding for free which everybody loved. The one main problem with it is they won't do room blocks unless you pay in advance for them, but they did offer a discount.
With incredible weather, perfect views, beautiful landscaping, and excellent service, we would recommend Clearwater to all. Lisa and Rosie were quick to answer all my questions leading up to the wedding and made sure all the details were as we intended. The food was delicious and they specially prepared meals for me as I have Celiacs. Our guest raved at the waterfront rooms and the venue overall. As a married couple we plan to go enjoy Clearwater in the near future and so do our guests. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The Clearwater as a venue definitely contributed to making our wedding absolutely perfect! (Estimated cost documented was for venue, catering, and open bar)
Didnt need it for the casino, so we didnt really care! The hotel itself is great. Highly recommend staying here and getting married at Kiana Lodge, as they are affiliated! The Chief Seattle suite is beautiful (for the newlyweds) and the views are great from most rooms.
Beautiful resort, beautiful venue, delicious food and very helpful events department.. Unfortunately the day of execution by the banquet staff was HORRIBLE. My guest bussed their own tables, my elderly family members had to wipe down the rained on outdoor ceremony chairs, and the banquet staff was MIA for the whole event ... All the guarantees we were given by the Banquet Manager didnt happen and the banquet captain blamed the banquet manager and kept saying " sorry I didnt know"... regardless, everyone had a great time and you cant beat the price.... HIRE a Wedding coordinator and you will be fine... the coordinator can be the one yelling at the staff- and not you, as the Bride :)
We only stayed in the Clearwater Casino Resort for our wedding night. By the time we arrived it was dark and we were up and out of the room by 9:00 but I wanted to write a review anyway.
The room was great, the giant king sized bed and decor were great. And so was the view! If we could have enjoyed it I would have loved to stay a few days and soak up the sun in the pool or the bay.
I had a great time at my bachelorette weekend, but the casino was definitely not very welcoming to people having too much of a good time! They did not find our bachelorette stuff amusing:) We had fun though and the rooms are very nice. The spa was great. Pretty pricy though.
The Clearwater Resort was an amazing place to stay with our friends after the weddding. We were not able to get a block of rooms at the hotel, but spread the word through our friends that we would be staying there (and perhaps gambling) after the wedding. We arrived to a beautiful room, and they had champagne quickly delivered as they didn't realize we were getting married, let alone arriving in my wedding dress. The night of our wedding was spent with our nearest and dearest sitting around the outdoor fire pit making s'mores. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
The food was very good. The staff was very friendly, though they seemed to mill around not exactly knowing what to do. They were supposed to hold 3 bottles of champagne and pour them one at a time for the head table (we were not allowed to pour, state laws). The servers did not know this and opened all of the bottles and left. We had to track one down to pour then gave up and poured it ourselves after she left and didn't come back. The catering set up was well laid out, very pretty and user friendly.
We searched for the perfect location to have our wedding in Kitsap County for a while. We wanted an outdoor wedding with a beautiful view which we found at the Clearwater Resort. This newer resort was the perfect location because the view and price were exactly what we wanted. We worked with Rosie Bayes and Amy Adams to plan our wedding all at the same venue and guests could stay overnight too! The staff were very easy to work with, guest loved the view and food, and we had the most amazing wedding day! The only negative things were that the resort only allows the music to play until 10:00 pm (we moved to the casino after) and the setup wasn't finished when scheduled. The perks included setup and take down entirely by staff, they allowed us to bring in our homemade cake, flowers, and liquer, and guests who stayed got an awesome breakfast the next morning. The price seemed reasonable compared to other venues in the area as well. Thank you for a wedding day we will always have fond memories of!
