nd fun to work with. We used one of their junior DJs named Manny that was still training. He was excellent and kept the tunes up all night. He was fun and a lot of guests got to throw in requests and he ran with the punches. We even had a last minute request for a specific end of the night song which he accommodated easily. All the remaining guests gathered in one big circle and we sung and swayed out the evening. It ended up being one of the best moments at our reception and it's in large part to the DJ who helped orchestrate this. I'd highly recommend using Clife DJ Company!

ious as he is on the higher end of price ranges but noticed the higher ratings to match. I would say without a doubt DJ Clife Company was a perfect choice for us! We had several zoom meetings to discuss the vibe and creative view of our day and then focusing more on logistics and specifics for the night. Our wedding had some specific scheduling needs including a 15 minute dance session at the beginning of the reception, 2 dance numbers, choregraphed formal dances and other surprises. Clife Estores delivered on every detail that was needed from the beginning of the day until the end. Using the "Vibo" app helped us drop in songs and add information for our schedule to keep our conversations focused on what was needed - we enjoyed this process. Leading up to the wedding he was quick to respond to e-mails/texts with last minute questions or changed plans. My main concern was finding a DJ who truly mixed the music like you would hear in a club/party atmosphere with the best 2-3 minutes of the song played and rolling right into the next song. I asked for a constant variety of music genres so it didn't fall into that typical wedding format. Clife delivered some of the best music mixes I've ever heard! All of my guests commented on how great the music was and everyone from people who love to dance to those just watching all said how they really felt the party vibe. A couple commented that they planned to leave when the music slowed down and it never did so they stayed all night! He truly set the atmosphere in a positive direction and we had the best night of our lives! If you are unsure of the cost I can assure you he is worth the expense and truly created a great atmosphere for everyone! A few add-ons we used with DJ Clife: Room Uplighting, 4 moving spotlights and 2 sparklers - all enhanced the night! For anyone who has a lot of dancers in their guest list I would suggest looking into the LED dance floor with "Unique Events" in Cedar Rapids, IA. Pricey, but the DJ and dance floor were the most talked about from our guests.

The biggest thing we noticed at the end of the night was how well the music was a giant build up into the end of the night turning into a complete rager! After dinner he was playing music that everyone could enjoy and dance too, but music that allowed us, the couple, to go mingle for a bit! Once we were able to go around and talk with our guests - we told DJ clife we were ready to party, and he busted out the CO2 blasters!!! It creating this Miami type feeling that all of our guests enjoyed. He helped us with our music and mixed everything so well. His set was great for all of our guests and us! The build up for the music throughout the night was something we did not think about or take into consideration, but was critical to the entire flow of the evening. He was AMAZING, so thoughtful, kind, generous and truly such a blessing to have as part of our wedding! He added so many personal touches to the night. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!

that featured large sparklers -we immediately knew we had to have those for our whimsical, romantic, and enchanting wedding. Once we knew who supplied them and after perusing their website, we realized we’d be getting so much more than just the large sparklers, including a “dancing on a cloud” experience and a fun social booth, so we booked a meeting right away. Clife was very personable and energetic and all-around good vibes. We were sold. Clife also selected the perfect DJ for us, Shawn Holland, that made our day very special and memorable. He managed to take a genre of songs (instrumental anime and videogame covers, Lord of the Rings and fantasy music) that he wasn’t as familiar with (though we appreciated the enthusiasm and being up for the challenge) and seamlessly blended them with more traditional and expected wedding music. My husband also had a list of 80s songs that he really loves but couldn’t imagine where they’d fit in a wedding, and Shawn worked them in perfectly. He kept our guests entertained and informed throughout the evening’s events and made sure we were having the time of our lives, including bringing us up to DJ for part of the night which was exhilarating! If you’re like us and not the “music type” you could completely rely on Shawn to deliver a fun and enjoyable playlist for all parts of your wedding.

I’ve never been to a wedding where the DJ was so involved and committed to your happiness. He is way above the rest when it comes to dedication. They have a lot of cool things no one else has to offer in the area as well. What ever you do make sure you dance on a cloud and add some sparks! Everyone was so surprised by it. really lovely person. He's really nice and easy to communicate with and was available for several phone conversations. Being from out of town, I was really lost as to who to choose as a DJ. I had wanted to fly in a DJ from out of town, since I knew a premiere DJ company in LA, but we were unable to find the top notch equipment they require. Our venue recommended DJ Clife as he had played there several times before, and so we went with a choice we thought would be comparable to our LA DJ. Energetically, he has a lot of it. He definitely wants to keep people dancing and having a good time and ushers people to the next activity or moment in a rather seamlessly. But there were some large reasons that it's not a perfect review. We had several phone and zoom conversations and had curated a pretty thorough list of songs we wanted played during our wedding, including a very specific timing of the aisle walk. Unfortunately, the aisle walk songs were not what was discussed and it messed up the flow of the whole aisle walk, to where I didn't walk down at the appropriate moment. The songs for our dancing were remixes that were very EDM-style, however, we had discussed that EDM was not music that our crowd enjoyed. Finally at the end of the night he began playing straight songs like Beyonce's Renaissance album, which we really wanted to hear (my little sister and maid of honor went up to him and told him we needed more Beyonce and he immediately started playing it). By that point, our crowd had dwindled down, and I finally said I liked the music he was playing. I think overall, I wish he had come to our rehearsal, which he had originally said he would try to come to, but wasn't able to make it, I think this would have solved any problems with my aisle walk. When we first met and booked him, he asked what we love about DJs at prior weddings we have been to. And the biggest note we said was that we like when DJs have been unmemorable, really giving focus to the music and playing songs all the way through. I think he's more of a DJ who enjoys providing entertainment, which is not really our style. Clife was really sweet and completely took responsibility for the elements of our night that was not up to par and compensated us for a part of the service he provided, which was genuinely appreciated. I think he is easy to work with, even though I wish he had retained a bit more from our conversations.

Our first dance we had both the fog and the cold sparklers, and the amount of compliments we received. What I really enjoyed about working with Clife is that he took the time to understand us as a couple, and to know our music tastes, interests, and passions. His app, VIBO, allowed us to plan our music so seamlessly without any added stress. I remember looking at Dillon during our dinner and saying, "he really is playing all of the music we selected, I am so happy." The time, effort, professionalism, and knowledge it takes to plan a wedding of our size is not an easy task, and he did it with ease. We are so grateful he was apart of our wedding, and I wouldn't have changed a thing.
