Cloud Craft Wedding Films was founded in 2016 by photographer and videographer Dave Kemper, and his longtime friend, Maria Katayama. Dave had always been drawn to photography from a young age and subsequently fell in love with videography not long after. On this journey, he met his wife, Sarah, who is also a talented photographer. ng night suite and left a mess outside the bowl for me (the groom!) to clean up. He did not wash his hands before moving items around the room (some sentimental) and touching us for posing. I should have fired him on the spot. He has absolutely no respect for the importance of a wedding day.
We hired Dave because he promised an ability to be a fly on the wall, but on the day he was intrusive and pushy. He was very insistent about needing to set videography equipment in the room while I was changing and needed privacy, then started small talk about politics while I was naked in the corner. Itâs as if he was on a mission to make me as uncomfortable as possible, despite what we asked for in advance.
Dave also stood on the edge of my wifeâs veil while talking to us, so I reached down to fold the veil away from his shoe, after which he stepped closer to toe it again. When our family was discussing who IN THE FAMILY should walk out with the vow books, Dave tried to yank them out of my hands without asking and deputize himself.
Dave made a snide comment during golden hour accusing me of not enjoying having video taken, when the only thing I did not enjoy was his presence. I responded by privately informing him about what he did to our bathroom, and making it clear that he was getting on my nerves. Â He still could not take a hint about boundaries. He even decided it was a good idea to walk up and interrupt our dinner conversation with family to comment on how fast we were eating our food (how thatâs the videographerâs business is beyond me).Â
There was a drastic juxtaposition in professionalism between Cloud Craft and our other vendors, who were all fantastic. The vibe at the wedding improved markedly when Dave finally left. He was a total drag on our ceremony day.â¨

2. Sara was at our wedding weekend on Friday and Saturday and so we got to spend a lot of time with her. She is truly so kind and cared so much about capturing all the details for us. We loved getting to know her and were so grateful for the dedication and attention she put into filming our weekend.
3. On the day of, Sara and her team were so fun to have around and worked amazingly well with our photographer. She made us laugh, was super directive when taking shots which we loved, she hyped us up, and she made sure to capture every little moment.
