Our wedding at the Cloverdale Barn was better than I could’ve ever asked for! Claire was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning, making sure we were well equipped with eve...
rything we needed. The space was perfect for our party of 80, with plenty of room to eat dinner and have a large dance floor area. The indoor lighting and drapes made the space feel so elegant. Our guests gave us so many compliments on the venue and how beautiful it truly is! Highly recommend
Claire was a dream to work with! When we were worried about high winds on the morning of our wedding, she remained calm and reassuring. She pulled up her weather app to cross check...
it with ours to try to make a plan! The bridal suite was the perfect sanctuary for getting ready, giving us a peaceful and beautiful space to start our wedding day. The stunning fall colors being to turn at the venue provided an unforgettable atmosphere for our ceremony. The lights through out the barn made for a comforting and cozy setting for our reception.
This was the perfect spot for our day. Surrounded by a historic barn and beautiful farm. Claire is very helpful and thoughtful.
This precious place first came to us way back in 2020 when Fairfax County wouldn't let our sweet teens have prom anywhere within the area. Claire welcomed us out to her beautiful v...
enue with open arms and it was just what our lockdown impacted kids needed to redeem their scrambled high school experience. Cut to 2025 when our oldest daughter and her fiancé were looking for a place to hold their wedding and they immediately knew Cloverdale Barn was just what they wanted to welcome their large group of family and friends. As others have noted the barn provides the perfect blend of rustic, quaint, welcoming and wide open space. We too heard from all our guests how much they loved the location and the warm vibes therein! The bridal cottage was the perfect place for the bride and her attendants to get ready. Claire is fabulous to work with - friendly, personable, professional, helpful, and very open and clear in all her communications. The early June rains found us scrambling over how and whether to move the ceremony into the barn the morning of the Big Day and Claire helped us move things around and strategize. So kind and helpful! The couple was able to exchange their vows under the willows as they had dreamed, but rest assured there is plenty of space both upstairs and in the lower barn area to seat 167 guests and a wedding party of 27! We cannot recommend this magical venue highly enough.
We are so happy we went with Cloverdale Barn as our venue. It is an absolutely gorgeous location in the pastoral countryside of Winchester, VA. The rustic nature of the barn was ex...
actly what we were looking for. The soft lighting bouncing of the natural wood and stone materials creates an ideal setting for a nice dinner and dance party. Claire is friendly, professional, and a quick communicator! We couldn't be happier with our wedding.
My sister had her wedding at Cloverdale Barn a few weeks ago and it was an absolute dream! We loved absolutely everything about the barn. Claire is such a gem. Working with her mad...
e everything so much easier. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for their next event!
Very Professional, friendly, and overall reasonable. Claire was great to work with. I would recommend.
Claire is the absolute best! She was amazing and quick with any questions I had. The barn itself is just perfect in every way it was everything I was wanting and more. I had a day ...
I will never forget I could of sat there all night taking in the surrounding beauty.
We celebrated our wedding on June 16, 2023 at Cloverdale Barn which I can't recommend enough!! It was affordable (worth it to go outside of Northern VA to save $$), beautiful (the ...
barn and the grounds are rustic yet modern) and the owner Claire is delightful to work with.
For the price the value was seriously top notch! We added on the bridal suite to get ready in and their high scale portable bathroom (we even got compliments on that!) as well as all the table and chairs which they offer on site. With all of that together it was still a fraction of the cost of most venues.
The Barn itself is permanently decorated with hanging globe and string lights which provide an elegant lighting along with fabric draped down from the beams. They allow you to use any vendors and its a blank slate for your DIY and Pintrest ideas!
There is an onsite ceremony arch and room for guests to celebrate outside or in the "cellar" under the barn which has recently been refinished. We opted to use the cellar as our cocktail hour location but it was a relief to know we had a rain plan!
I would highly recommend Cloverdale Barn to anyone wanting a rustic place in the beautiful county atmosphere close enough to a big city and hotels.
This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding. The owner was very responsive through email and made sure we had everything in order. We opted to have our ceremony by the willow...
s, cocktail hour in the bottom bar area, and reception and dancing in the upper barn area. There was plenty of space for our 100 guests. Would absolutely recommend. It was beautiful!!
Cloverdale Barn exceeded our expectations. Wedding planning can be overwhelming and expensive, but Cloverdale Barn as our wedding venue was the best choice I could have made. Clair...
e keeps the barn so maintained. You barely need to decorate the venue in order for it to be "wedding ready" as it has its own natural rustic charm from the fairy tale lights, to the scenery, rocking chairs, arbors, wine barrels, and various charming items that are around. It was so easy to rent the chairs and tables that were already at the venue through Claire. There is an area down by the willow trees for the ceremony so you can have your guests stay at the same location for the ceremony and reception. The bridal cottage is right on site as well so you can get ready at the venue and be there to decorate. Claire is so responsive and emailed with me throughout the entire year leading up to my wedding. Throughout the night of our wedding, I cannot tell you how many compliments and comments I heard from our wedding guests on how awesome the barn was. It is spacious and the sliding barn doors open up to a beautifully lit patio where our guests stood outside and hung out as well. The venue also has many other areas for photo ops for the bride and groom / wedding party for professional photos. Cloverdale Barn really has it all, and Claire and the barn helped to create the most special night of my life!!!! 5/5 stars. Thanks again for everything!!

still the most gorgeous venue! We held our reception under the barn (which everyone loved and told us felt like a cozy tavern type of feel) and the barn was so spacious and already decorated with beautiful lights! We got ready in the bridal cottage which was cute and plenty of room for us to get ready in! We had postponed this celebration twice due to COVID, and Claire was so helpful, sweet, and accommodating! Our day here was perfect!!!

d MORE! The location and country setting are PERFECT for weddings near Winchester, VA. There is a Bridal Suite for the bride to get ready in, plenty of room inside the barn for the reception, and many different backdrops for photographing and filming the couple around the farm. The owner, Claire, was super friendly and professional. Claire goes out of her way to make sure that each couple has a stress free, wonderful wedding day experience at her venue. If you are looking for a wedding venue near Winchester, VA, be sure to check out Cloverdale Barn! I know I had a great time there and look forward to filming there again. I have included a couple aerial photos from my DRONE to give you a taste of the property!
Our wedding was here a couple of weeks ago, and it was absolutely perfect. The scenery was beautiful, the barn was in great shape and decorated beautifully before we even got there...

n see. We were lucky enough for our event date to fall on a gorgeous weather date (9/26/2021) so our guests could enjoy the grounds and the patio as much as the barn. We were originally set to have our wedding here May 2020, but opted to say our “I do’s” at grandma’s instead and hold off on the bigger celebration at the barn until more people would be able to attend. Claire was wonderful to work with from the start and very responsive to any questions that I had throughout the process. Our day at Cloverdale was well worth the wait!
Christyna + James (and baby Connor too)
We had our wedding at Cloverdale Barn on 9/18/21 and it was breathtaking!

The best thing about Cloverdale Barn is that you are really able to express yourself with DIY decor and vendors.
In regards to decor, the barn is so beautiful and a little bit goes a long way!

as great. All of our guests had a great time and enjoyed them self. Mrs. Boyd was easy to communicate with, making the whole processes much easier. During the reception Mrs. Boyd went out to turn on tiki torches she already had, which i thought was great! We are satisfied with the service and beyond happy to have held our wedding here!

too many ways to list to make sure our day was that much more special. The property is a dream and the grounds are well manicured and great care is taken to uphold the scenic landscape. The price was more than reasonable and we really enjoyed decorating the barn in order to make it our own for our special day. The barn also provides a number of decorations such as apple crates, a beautiful antique carriage, and farmhouse tables to help make the space your very own. The bridal cottage was perfect for myself and my small bridal party of four to get ready in along with the hair and makeup artist and photographer and others popping in and out. The air conditioning in the bridal cottage was also a plus as was the shower and refrigerator. 10/10 A+ 5 Stars would recommend for any occasion.
Claire the owner of the venue was so helpful professional and accommodating. We had a wonderful experience, no surprises no last minute glitches. Our event was June 26, 2021 , ...
3:00 to 9:00 I was so worried because it was hot outside but there was a cool breeze blowing through the barn and it was very comfortable. Picturesque during the day but when the sun fell it was absolutely beautiful!

han that, Claire was beyond helpful, attentive, caring, and treated us like we were the only couple getting married there...even though we know that’s not the case! Planning our entire wedding was simplified with Claire’s guidance and help.
We won’t be getting married again!! ;) But if we ever need a venue for any other celebration or party, I know where I’m going to first!
The venue and Ms. Claire were amazing. My DJ arrived 1 1/2 hours late to my wedding and reception and Ms. Claire offered to bring out speakers for us to use for ceremony music. A...
lthough we declined and I walked without music she offered and that made my experience more amazing. The venue is beautiful. Everyone was impressed with the views and the lighting provided by the venue.

ive and warm attitude which made us feel welcome and as if we had known her for a long time. Claire was extremely responsive every time we had questions and encouraged us to visit the site as many times as we wanted while we were planning everything. Claire answered all of our questions, was extremely helpful during our set-up and clean-up, and accommodated all of our requests. She made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable!
The barn was absolutely breathtaking the day of the wedding and all of our guests told us how unique and beautiful it was.
I highly recommend using Cloverdale Barn for any couple getting married in the Virginia area. The surrounding area is picturesque, the venue is easy to find, and Claire will make the process easy and enjoyable for couples!

e is such a joy to work with! She accommodated all of our requests - even going above & beyond to paint 160 brown chairs we rented from her & recommended several other nearby vendors throughout our planning period.
Beyond Cloverdale Barn's idyllic location in historic Winchester, it's also so affordable. While you do need to rent a restroom trailer & obtain special event insurance, the cost to use the facilities is very reasonable.
We loved having our ceremony outside, near the pond & the rolling hills, with a cider hour in the under part of the barn, followed by an indoor barn reception complete with loads of twinkling lights, good ole Southern BBQ & lots of dancing :)
