Mark is PHENOMENAL! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. He is super easy to be around, and so incredible at what he does. Somehow he was hardly seen during the ceremony, but got the best shots. Amazing eye for catching moments. Everything looks super natural and he does a great job at capturing the heart of who couples are. I couldn't say enough great things about Mark- both as a person and as a photographer. He also got our photos back to us by the time we were back from our honeymoon, AND gave us a few sneak peaks the day after our wedding! He's awesome.

I cannot speak highly enough about Mark and his work. As an artist from a family of artists, I was incredibly discerning in choosing a photographer; I couldn't have made a better decision. The creativity and quality of our photos far surpassed our expectations and additionally, Mark is an incredibly chill person to work with. He was both personable and professional throughout the entire process (and our wedding was an adventure) and I still cannot believe how quickly after our wedding we received our photos. We have received SO many compliments on our pictures and most importantly, we absolutely love them. How fortunate we were to have had him photograph our wedding.

We couldn't be happier with our gorgeous wedding photos by Mark. We were married August 2016 at Holland Lake Lodge in Montana. Mark captured the unique essence of our venue. His style of photography seems so organic and they way he highlights people's individuality through photography is incredible. Needless to say, we are very thrilled with the quality of photography! Mark is a very talented individual who is easy-going, working with him feels natural even if you don't consider yourself a "photogenic" person. Thank you so much, Mark! We will treasure these memories our whole lives. ALSO! He sends a really neat little gift when he finishes up your wedding photos. It was a great thing to open when we arrived home from our honeymoon!

Hands-down, Mark is the MOST talented photographer you could ever hope to work with. Not only does he have a gift behind the lense, he is the most genuine and kind person. We were so lucky to spend the day with him as he captured our wedding. Our pictures are incredible and we could not be happier!

Cluney photography is hands down my favorite photographer! My husband and I were married in Indianapolis but we gladly paid the extra cost to have them travel to photograph our wedding. I am a florist in Indy so I am familiar with many photographers here, but still had to have them. They capture the most amazing moments throughout the whole day. I look back at the photos and they tell the story of our wedding day so perfectly. Our wedding was very go with the flow and have fun and Mark and Angela fit in so well with that. They let Eric and I just have fun with each other, enjoy our day, be in love and some how they made us look like models (we are certainly not models) and produced beautiful photos. The lighting is natural and not saturated. They are honestly magic. On top of that, Mark and Angela have to be some of the kindest, gracious people I've had the pleasure of spending time with. They made us feel so comfortable and I just wanted to spend more time with them.

Overall, he did a fairly decent job capturing our wedding. If allowed, I would give him 3.5 stars. He was prompt, fairly decent at communicating, and was pleasant to work with. He was really fast in the turn around with our wedding photos - both digital copies and a collection of proofs. They were very nicely packaged and we had a lot of fun looking through them. I think where we took a 1.5 stars off is in some of the finer details. I think my husband and I were both surprised that he came alone when he told us during our initial consult that he would have an assistant with him. And yes, that should have been something we verified, but it did mean that we paid for two people, not one. We have a few great pictures, but I think the thing that upset me more than my husband is that all the photos look like they are taken on the same setting. He does really great photos of people at a certain distance away. He did not excel at landscapes or taking photos of our printed material. He took a pictures of our wedding certificated and it is blurry. He took a pictures of some of the menus, tables and they are blurry. He took a picture of our wedding group in front of the lake and the mountains and the landscape is completely out-of-focus. We chose our location based on the setting and wanted pictures of the setting. I don't mind a few pictures that obscure the background that is artful and allows the eye to focus on the people. But, I also want to make sure that we have the gorgeous Montana setting as well - which was snow-capped mountains, a lake, and a sunset. A few of the pictures that he took of people that were staggered had some of them people in focus and some out. It is not a picture that looks good because they are all posing for the picture! For example, my niece is being held up by all the groomsman in front of my mother who is taking the photo. He took the same photo, but in his photo, my niece and the groomsman are out of focus, but my mother who took the photo, is in focus. It baffled me! Change your lens or your F-stop for some of these photos! But again, there are some really good photos. His price is reasonable. And his style is pretty good, just make sure you understand he has one "trick" so to speak and that is something we maybe didn't realize looking at his website. But we just looked at it again, and realized that is his style. It's just sad that all the photos have to be like that because he is missing some other perspectives.

Very professional, but still extremely friendly and down-to-earth. Mark and his wife Angela shot our wedding and it was as if they weren't even there. They fit right in and got so many amazing shots. I believe that all of their packages include an engagement session and that was great to use on our invitations. All the guests loved them and we did too! It depends on your package and how much wedding day coverage you want, but I chose one that was for 7 hrs the day of including the engagement session and that cost about 2700. Their turn around speed in returning the pictures was also incredibly fast (about a week from my wedding)! Best part is they are reliable and extremely on top of everything. Most times I would email Mark and he would get back to me within an hour and if not, that same day!

We searched forever for a good photographer in Montana. The only one we found that fit our style was Cluney Photography, and we are SO glad we found them! Cluney Photo does amazing photojournalism style photography. I could not recommend them more highly. They were so easy to work with and created such lovely memories of our wedding.
