Christine was amazing from start to finish. As an out of state bride she was flexible with when I was able to come into town and responsive when I had questions. She had the best recommendations for other vendors but also respected when I wanted to bring in my own members. She kept me on track without being pushy. My wedding was absolutely amazing because of the team I had putting it together and Christine was the calm, cool, and collected team leader. She was able to give me all the information I needed and still flex as needed. She really respected that my husband and I were focused on giving back to our guests and helped us to execute that vision. We had many people we greatly respect tell us it was a perfect wedding. I also had people comment the day before the wedding I was the most stress free bride they'd ever seen and that's because I trusted Christine to lead my team for my wedding day. edding but CM Design brought our vision to life and then some! We were worried about working with the many vendors at WDW but Christine made everything so incredibly smooth for us as the Bride and Groom. Our wedding was an absolute dream and went off without a hitch. Her team is not only very professional but also some of the nicest people to work with! We felt very taken cared of throughout the year of planning as well as the day of. Typically the week of the wedding the Bride receives a lot of texts, calls, and emails however our 165 guests all went straight to our wedding planner! Christine and her team were able to handle every guest request without any issue.
Christine was very knowledgeable about everything we needed to do, from when to mail out save the dates, how to word our invitations for a destination wedding, and how to manage multiple events over a 4 day wedding weekend. We could not imagine pulling off our wedding without her! If you are looking for a local or destination wedding planner you will not find one better than CM Event Design!

ally, we thought we would need her to get all the vendors and details needed for an out of state wedding. She did a wonderful job keeping everything organized with vendors, time, and budget. She also did so much more.
Christine has excellent communication skills and extremely organized, but most of all she is very resourceful. Her resourcefulness is what saved our daughter’s wedding and made her dream a reality. Two days before the wedding, the venue in Daytona Beach took a direct hit by a Category 1 hurricane. Daytona had significant damage including a collapsed sea wall.
Christine treated us like family. I truly felt like this wedding was as important to her as it was to us. She changed her flight and left two days earlier so she would be there. However, this also meant she was stuck in a hotel in an area that was evacuated. She was unable to leave the hotel to check on the venue until the day before.
The day of the wedding, the basement of the venue was still flooded, which contained the chairs for the reception. The yard, where the ceremony was to take place in only a few hours, was flooded and had debris from the storm. Christine did not panic, but instead called every resource she had.
Somehow on the day of the wedding, everything was cleaned up and she even found gold Chiavari chairs to replace the flooded chairs! I honestly do not know what we would have done without her! This is why you hire a wedding planner because there will always be unexpected events! What could have been the biggest disaster, was instead the beautiful ceremony and reception I always dreamed my daughter would have. I received so many compliments on everything from the flowers, cake, and even the set-up of the tent and tables. Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the couple. Most of all, I was able to enjoy the day with my daughter and family.

t venue! It was better than I could have ever imagined. She handled all of the issues with venders and other things to ensure everything was perfect and stress free on our special day. We were able to enjoy our day with our family all while not worrying about catering issues, decorating, or clean up. My husband was against hiring a wedding planner- now he insists on hiring Christine for any and all events and even having an anniversary party next year. Royal Sonesta has a nice facility, the one area that truly sold us on hosting our special day there was Christine.
Christine has an uncanny ability to build rapport and establish relationships with people instantly. During our tour of the facility it seemed as though we knew Christine for years. Christine exhibited a great personality as she made the whole experience fun and informative. After Christine’s presentation we knew instantly that we had to hold our wedding there.
During the wedding planning process Christine was everything you could ask for. She was incredibly organized, always checking in to see if we needed assistance with photographers, florists, DJ’s and invitations. Her constant communication reassured us that we were not forgetting about the little things that can be often overlooked. In addition, Christine was extremely detail oriented. She provided ideas to my wife about things ranging from how the tables should be set-up, the best lighting at various times of the night, how our appetizers and displays should be organized to ensure our guests would not feel crowded during the cocktail hour and how we could maximize the most space for the dance floor to ensure all of our guests could party. Most importantly, and dear to us, Christine often checked in with us to see how we were doing and what she could do to relieve some of the wedding planning stress.
For future events we will definitely be seeking Christine’s professional advice. Scores of other planners and event managers that we met prior to Christine were often stuffy, had no personality and seemed like their presentation was scripted word for word. Christine made the whole wedding planning process, which can often be tense at times, extremely fun. In working with Christine we always felt like we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Christine always manages to have a smile on her face. She manages expectations exceptionally well and always went out of her way to ensure that we were happy and taken care of. Christine is truly one of the best in the business.
