Our one rule was no white flowers, because they symbolize death in my culture and it was incredibly important to my family and I that all flowers were colored. White flowers are only used at funerals. We had put this several places in the proposal and reiterated this to Chuck multiple times. My husband and I were taking pictures and walked down to the reception area... only to see white flowers on many tables. Chuck explained that he thought our tables needed something "extra" and had not charged us for the flowers (which was very kind of him), but kept insisting the flowers were not white. They were absolutely white. It rattled me so much to see our one rule so blatantly disregarded. We were lucky that my family had not yet seen the flowers because it would have been viewed as a curse on our wedding and caused a major meltdown. We missed out on valuable pre-ceremony picture time because we were dealing with the white flower fiasco, and I was so rattled just minutes before our ceremony that I just barely recomposed myself. Apparently my planner had spent a good deal of time pulling white flowers out of our arch as well before we got there. Our arch was also a chuppah rather than an arch - while beautiful, it was not what we had requested and ultimately made it very awkward for our guests to see the ceremony. Overall, while we were very impressed with Chuck's skill level and the overall execution, we were incredibly disappointed by the fact that he did not follow our wishes. We would definitely recommend working with him but caution all brides and grooms to make sure every detail is carefully spelled out and that there is someone to review his work on the day of.

We sat down with my planner with pictures from Pinterest I had just googled! He began to draw images and speak in floral terms. I was amazed at his color selection and floral undertones ALL based on my wedding colors which were cranberry and dusty blue! We had a wonderful consultation and he had a quote to me by the end of the day which was very reasonable! Now let's get to the wedding day!!!! I was married 9/3/16 and my flowers were gorgeous right down to the groom! He created this fall romantic color scheme that still kept my twist on modern rustic! His florals were amazing!!! They went on and on about how beautiful and creative the floral arrangements and center pieces were, including the modern urns with cascading hydrangeas and calla lilies from the ceremony and the rhinestone-encrusted vases holding beautiful clean-looking floral arrangements from the reception (just to give a couple of examples). I mean, I could go on and on about Chuck's brilliance. In all honesty, I'm in awe of what he was able to create. He took ideas from the consultation appointment and created my dream wedding. It's like he was in my head... which could be a dangerous place while in full swing of wedding planning. (lol) Also, he's very budget-conscious without skimping on the vision. Okay, I'll stop here for the sake of losing readers... but if you're looking for floral and décor for any upcoming event (wedding, special event, etc.) that's gonna wow your guests, stop searching and give Chuck a call. The servers and bartender were so professional as well. e venue much earlier than expected, so I was very happy with that. When I saw the center pieces and the rest of the flowers, my breath was taken away, I could not have been happier. The only problem was the color of the ribbon he used to wrap my bouquet and the center piece vases. I sent him the color I was using via email and I guess he matched it to, what he thought, was the closest color. In the end, I didn't really care because I was still getting married. But I would suggest sending/giving a color swatch so he can actually see the color and material. Or asking him to send you a swatch of the color he is going to use.

d I wanted to be sure that he would be able to eat as much as he wanted at our wedding without worrying about getting sick, and Chuck was great about working with us and talking over ingredients and dishes. We had talked about having a sundae/rootbeer float station at the reception, but Chuck went above and beyond and had a whole dessert station. The guests loved it! The flowers were gorgeous with lots of roses and carnations(my favorite). Our colors were black and white with a dark purple accent. The decor was simple and elegant just as requested with branches with white blooms in tall glass vases as centerpieces. I was so relieved to have Chuck and his team there because I knew I wouldn't have to worry about anything. And I didn't! I was able to fully enjoy our wonderful wedding and reception.
