From our first conversation, CMG checked all of those boxes and more. What initially stood out to us was Christine’s calming presence, honesty, and genuine nature - this is something we didn’t necessarily feel with every planner we met. We knew we wanted a wedding that felt a little different and uniquely ours, and Christine and her team immediately understood that. No idea ever felt too outside the box, and there was always a willingness to figure out how to bring our vision to life. Once the planning process began, we were paired with Reanna, and it didn’t take long for us to realize just how happy we were with our decision. Reanna was an absolute dream to work with. She brought exactly the calming, organized energy we needed throughout the entire process. She kept us on track, gently reminded us when decisions needed to be made, answered our endless questions, and somehow made everything feel manageable rather than overwhelming. We always felt like we were in incredibly capable hands. Wedding planning can be stressful, and one of my biggest pieces of advice is to choose a team you genuinely enjoy talking to and feel completely comfortable with - you’ll be speaking to them regularly for a long time (a year and a half in our case!). Reanna became that person for us. Whether it was a call, text, or email, we always felt like we could reach out to her. She was calm when we needed calm, organized when we needed direction, and always made us feel like there was a solution. As our plans evolved, we realized we needed additional help with our rehearsal dinner and welcome bags, and Reanna seamlessly stepped in to make those happen too. Nothing ever felt like too much or like a problem - she simply figured out how to get it done. And then there was the wedding weekend itself. Our wedding day happened to fall on literally the hottest day of the summer (it was actually 100 degrees in Napa and our wedding was outdoors) and somehow, you never would have known it from the CMG team. They were running around in the heat executing every detail with smiles on their faces, making sure our guests were comfortable and that everything unfolded exactly as planned. Not once did we feel the stress of what was happening behind the scenes. CMG handled the entire weekend with such professionalism and ease that we were able to be completely present and actually enjoy every moment. We didn’t have to think about timelines, vendors, logistics, or whether something had been taken care of because Reanna and her team had it all covered. And I’ll add this: I am extremely detail-oriented and admittedly very critical. I notice everything, especially when it comes to something we’ve spent a year and a half planning. I can genuinely say that when I looked around our wedding, every single detail felt flawless. There wasn’t anything I wanted to fix, change, or worry about. Seeing everything we had talked about for so long come together so beautifully and being able to simply enjoy it instead of managing it was priceless. Our guests noticed it too. We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that is as much a testament to the experience CMG created behind the scenes as it is to everything our guests saw that weekend. With wedding planning, you don’t know what you don’t know and that’s exactly why having the right team matters so much. There are a million decisions to make along the way, but let choosing CMG be one of the easiest. ot know how anyone plans a wedding without them. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know about wedding planning until Christine came into the picture. From the very beginning, it was so obvious that she and the CMG team have this down to a science. They know exactly what needs to happen, when it needs to happen, what questions to ask, and what you should be thinking about before it has even crossed your mind. I am extremely Type A and usually want to be involved in every little detail, but Christine made me feel so supported, guided, and taken care of throughout the entire process. And then there is the CMG TEAM. Truly, every single person is incredible. Chelsea handled our design elements like menus, signage, and all of the little details that bring a wedding to life, and I was BLOWN AWAY. Everything was so insanely beautiful and thoughtful. It was genuinely better than anything I could have dreamed up or saved on Pinterest. She somehow understood exactly what I wanted and then elevated it beyond what I could have imagined. Then we had Marisa and Sierra with us on the wedding day, and by the end of the night I wanted to become best friends with the entire team. 😂 Everyone was so fun, warm, calm, positive, and genuinely such a great energy to have around on one of the biggest days of your life. I joked that they should have just been invited to the wedding as guests because we loved having them there that much. The actual wedding day was FLAWLESS from our perspective. With an event that big, there are obviously going to be little logistical things that happen behind the scenes, but Christine and her team handled everything with the confidence and grace of people who have done this a million times. Nothing became my problem. Nothing pulled me out of the moment. I got to be completely present, enjoy every second, and trust that they had everything under control. That feeling is absolutely priceless on your wedding day. But what I’m most grateful for is the wedding they helped us create. Christine understood my vision so perfectly and knew exactly how to guide me in bringing it to life. She knew when to give advice, when to push an idea further, when to simplify something, and when to just let me be me. The end result was beyond anything I could have imagined. It was beautiful, thoughtful, personal, and somehow felt SO completely us. I walked into our wedding and genuinely could not believe that what I was seeing was ours. Christine is hands down the BEST in the business. She is unbelievably talented, organized, thoughtful, calm, creative, and just so, so good at what she does. You can tell how much she cares, and that level of care shows in every single detail. I will forever be grateful to her and the entire CMG team for giving us the wedding of our absolute dreams and allowing us to actually enjoy every second of it. did was so far beyond our wildest dreams. It was a lavish three day affair with different themes and directions every night. Right from the outset, Christine was able to take our jumbled statements about what we wanted and transform them into a spectacular wedding weekend. Her design was impeccable. She provided us with mood boards straight away that allowed us to get a real sense of what we were going to see on wedding weekend. Slowly but surely, the pie in the sky visions became a reality. We were WOWED by the final result, and all of our guests cannot stop talking about how absolutely gorgeous each and every event was.  Aside from her design, Christine was an incredible resource for us. As I said, we lived across the country which meant we could not meet with our vendors with regularity and had a 3 hour time difference. I do not know when Christine sleeps because she answered our texts at EVERY hour of the day straight away. She was a knowledgeable and comforting force. Even though I told Christine I was not a “Pinterest” bride, I had a LOT of opinions and ideas and she took them all in stride. I was genuinely sad when the wedding was over and we did not talk every day like we had been. She is an absolute joy to work with in every sense of the word.  Know that if Christine is planning your wedding, you are in the greatest hands. Having a wedding in the states with all the details is nerve racking at best, but times that by 5 because you are having it on another continent, not to mention blending the bride's California family, the groom's Ireland family, and the friends from all over the world.  CMG was the team who calmed and settled my nerves and kept this mama from losing it. The beauty and elegance from the design incorporating the natural elements from the castle were nothing short of spectacular.  Walking into each space was breathtaking, yet it was very much a blend of Kat and Karl. Christine and Jen captured the essence of  Kat and Karl. It was truly a marvel. eam. Our planner, Jennifer, and her assistant, Samantha, were truly exceptional! They were organized, creative, and such a calming presence throughout the entire planning process. Their vendor recommendations were top-notch and every detail of the design was beautiful. Jennifer worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, and when the big day arrived, everything was executed flawlessly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Every detail was handled, and all of our décor was packed up and accounted for at the end of the night. Our wedding day was truly perfect thanks to CMG Events. If you’re looking for a team that’s professional, kind, and truly exceptional at what they do, we can’t recommend them enough!

ply disappointing. With respect to assistance with vendors, surprising, and despite assurances to the contrary, the team has limited knowledge of Indian wedding vendors. Additionally, when we asked for decorator alternatives, Christine said dismissively that they “only work with Edgar.” Initial design concepts were good. We requested revisions and never got updates. Guidance on vendor packages was also unhelpful. E.g. we got DJ/lighting options with different bundles/packages with no guidance on what best fit our space. We struggled to make sense of these, going back and forth on emails, estimates, and calls, even discovering an overcharge in our quote. I raised concerns about these delays/oversights at our next meeting. Shortly after, Christine sent an email terminating our contract for my supposed “rudeness” – without so much as a call to hear my point of view or resolve the issues. She offered a partial refund, while still retaining 50% of the total fees. Having little to show for that hefty fee, and hopeful their day-of execution would be good, we opted to stay on. Execution on the wedding day was chaotic and, frankly, unacceptable: - Jennifer assigned two assistants to hand the Jaimalas to the bride and groom’s siblings as they walked in. Instead of handing the Jaimala, in full view of everyone, one assistant “garlanded” the groom’s brother – making the Jaimala unusable for the wedding ceremony! - The bride was to enter under a canopy carried by four people. Despite being instructed just a few minutes prior, the assistants did not show up to take the canopy. In fact, Jennifer and her assistants were rarely visible during the evening events. Rather than actively managing the flow, they were “warm bodies” to meet a staffing headcount. The exception was Anna, who performed professionally and reliably. - We had asked for a private video of the couple entering the reception before the guests. Jennifer had committed to making this happen. Yet when I later asked how it went, she casually said the couple hadn’t come down on time, so it wasn’t done. She had made no attempt to go upstairs to keep them on schedule, or advise us of the delay and delay alternatives. - For the sake of brevity here are just a few more points: we asked Jennifer to keep a couple of copies of printed materials (programs, menus) as keepsakes. Despite her assurances, we received none. Jennifer was to collect our décor items at the end of the night. When asked, she said she hadn’t picked them up and would “look into it,” but never did. We later learned the decorator’s team could not locate Jennifer at wrap-up and had stored the items. Jennifer notified me that the DJ had offered to bring a fog machine, but she failed to confirm the hotel’s policies. The machine triggered the fire alarm during the event and resulted in a $500 fine. What we experienced was not the professional planning and execution expected from a full-service planner, but an overextended, inattentive, and unaccountable team. We anticipate Christine to respond by blaming us for their issues but the examples above make it abundantly clear where the problems lie. Yes, the couple were gracious enough to thank CMG but that courtesy should not be mistaken for satisfaction with their services.

live music, florals, etc. CMG events understood our vision and delivered!  I remember looking at this company’s reviews while looking for a wedding planner almost 2 years ago. CMG events had such high ratings across many platforms. That was one of the many reasons I reached out. Now here I am writing about how happy my husband and I are with choosing to hire CMG events for our wedding.  Christine and her team were so great to work with! Reanna was our project manager and she was so great at helping us select our vendors. She is so kind, throughout, and was frequently in communication with us.  Jennifer was our lead planner and day of coordinator. Jennifer is just so sweet and she makes the process feel like she is a friend and not just our wedding planner. She really held everything down the day of the wedding. I don’t remember worrying about much with her there! Her assistants were also great the day of. Both ladies made our process very easy and pretty stress free. This company also has a great eye for design. I remember sending over my moodboard and they exceeded my expectations.  Our friends and family are still talking about how gorgeous our wedding was and how much they enjoyed it! We have heard many times that our wedding venue had never looked better.  Last but not least, I also want to mention that the diversity and inclusivity of this company’s clientele is so refreshing to see. My husband and I loved seeing the amazing weddings from people of all walks of life on CMG events Instagram page before we reached out.  We can’t thank Christine, Jennifer, Reanna, and the CMG team enough for their hard work, support, and making our wedding dreams come true. 

wouldn’t want anyone to go through our experience with this event planner. I have limited space to fully describe our problems with this wedding planner company so please reach out to me and I can share additional details. As the father of the groom, I was not very involved, until I had to… because out of the blue one day we received an email saying that they are cancelling the contract. This was less than 3 months before the event and after they were fully paid. Their agreement is written such that they can terminate at any time “without cause”. Which is what they did until I got on the phone with Christine, the owner of the company. On that call, in a very abrupt manner she claimed that they cannot work with us because my wife had been rude with their employees.  Their definition of being rude… my wife expressed on a call with the planner that she felt they were not doing much  and the employee said that they were doing a lot, so my wife said “let’s agree to disagree”!  We had paid a lot of money to the planner and with such a short time remaining, we didn’t want to walk away but they then “demanded” that all communication would go through our kids (the bride and groom to be) rather than my wife. We felt that might be best but that was a big mistake.  The kids were given a runaround - very politely though - and were told that they would have vendors contract the next day or update in 2 days and nothing moved forward. Little to no “planning” was being done by the so called planners - just sweet talking. For example, they heard “we will have the confirmed mehendi contact tomorrow” for 5 weeks.  My sense of this company is that they are only interested in building a big list of vendors who they can recommend to their customers, probably in exchange for a fat commission. I don’t begrudge any company making money but at least work for it! They barely had any suitable vendors, and those they recommended were expensive. Even on the day of the event, when they claimed they did all the work, there were major lapses and if it wasn’t for umpteen people from both the bride and grooms side springing into action, and a lot of planning done by the two mothers (of bride and groom) who fortunately were very detail oriented and were prepared to cover their lapses in planning.  My wife will probably have a lot more to say about her terrible experiences with this planner. They claimed to us that they had planned Indian weddings in the past, but that was clearly an exaggeration! A planner for a large event needs to be someone who can manage a lot of moving parts and has an eye for attention to details. This company does not measure up.  Unless you are willing to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to planning the wedding, hiring this planner is simply throwing your money down the drain! 

lly started wedding planning about 2 years in advance with a different planner. We had a terrible experience with our first planner from lack of communication, to missing key deadlines, and going way over budget on numerous vendors. We were only about 4 months out from our wedding when we ultimately made the decision to part ways with our initial planner and find a new one. We had nothing done at that point except having picker a venue and one or two vendors. From the moment CMG took us on, to the end of our wedding day, we felt like we were in great hands and had a huge weight lifted off our chests. Michelle was so kind, patient, creative, and helpful from day one. She helped us build our design deck and was extremely supportive through how picky I was with every small decision haha. Michelle made sure every last detail was what I wanted. She really did her best to understand what our vision was for the day and that each and every vendor choice resonated with that vision. She was so detail oriented and you could feel how much she genuinely cares. She also helped us with budget tracking, payment reminders, communication with vendors, and so much more. We felt so supported by her throughout this process. I always felt like she had my back and I could call or text her with anything. She even emotionally supported me through my maid of honor dropping out a few weeks before the wedding! When it came around to the big day, Michelle and her team took care of EVERYTHING. The day (at least from our perspective) went by flawlessly. It was such a relief to feel that we were in good hands. We were able to fully relax and enjoy the day as the honored guests. Everything turned out even more beautiful than expected and the CMG team completely blew us away! Truly, we couldn’t recommend CMG Events more for your wedding day! éanna. Throughout planning, they were organized, attentive, and calming, which kept us from feeling overwhelmed. From our very first call, Christine took the time to really listen to what we valued, what we envisioned, and the atmosphere we wanted to create for our wedding. She immediately understood our vision and scheduled our first venue tour, which was so perfect that we didn't even need to see others! Throughout planning, Christine and Réanna were incredibly responsive, so we never had to worry about chasing down answers or being left in the dark. They also built a budget around our priorities, and helped us stay within it! One of the most valuable aspects of working with CMG was their guidance in both vendor selection and design decisions, which kept us from feeling fatigued by all the choices we needed to make. Vendor selection was effortless thanks to their network of the most exceptional, talented vendors. They shared 3-4 curated proposals for vendors they recommended based on our vision and budget, scheduled calls with the ones we wanted to meet, and guided us in making final decisions. Within just a few months, we had the absolute DREAM TEAM booked for our wedding weekend. When it came to design, Christine didn't just capture an aesthetic--she brought to life the feeling we wanted for our wedding. I had a very clear vision for our wedding day: light, dreamy, and modern, while honoring my Indian traditions and heritage. Christine guided us in making thoughtful decisions for every detail so everything felt cohesive, personal, and reflected our vision. One of the most memorable moments of our wedding day was during cocktail hour when Christine led us to a private reveal of our reception. Walking into the space and seeing it all come together was surreal. We did our first dance and it felt so dreamy and gave us a chance to take it all in, just the two of us. I’m not sure where to even begin with this review because Christine and her team of hustlers weren’t just there to keep us sane on our wedding weekend, but through our entire 18-month engagement. Christine was the only wedding planner we interviewed that my now-husband, Travis, had a strong opinion on and said we needed to hire her. I had pretty far fetched ideas for our wedding and we both gravitated towards Christine’s ability to quickly grasp the concept and communicate efficiently. I’d never planned a wedding before and don’t plan to again, so I wanted a planner who I could lean on for guidance and a network of kickass partners—and we got that 100x over! Every vendor we met with who came from CMG’s partner network were charismatic and loving and just so excited to work on another wedding that Christine was planning. It made us feel so special and taken care of so when our wedding day finally arrived, it felt like we were surrounded by friends. CMG Events for Full Planning and Design for our wedding at The Meritage in Napa in July 2024. Christine instantly understood our vision. She and Jennifer guided us through the wedding planning process and did not allow us to stress over much. They were always very quick to respond to my 2am brain dump e-mails. In the beginning, CMG introduced us to a couple vendors in each category. Each and every vendor was professional, personable and well established. During the design process, Christine was so patient with me and provided me with multiple drawing/plans/pictures so that I could actually see it all coming together. (I do not have a single artistic bone in my body.) Leading up to the wedding, we had weekly check ins to make sure we were staying on track. My husband and I knew CMG Events was top-notch after working so closely with them for ~ 1 year but they really went above and beyond on our actual wedding day. Christine and her team seemed to be everywhere taking care of all the minor issues but also not too overwhelming. My sister who works in event planning commented at how high caliber they were. At one point, the groomsmen even commented on how on top of it Sierra was. She was spotted running across a parking lot in 100 degree heat! Christine's creative mind (think ice cream shop and after party in a wine cave) and her team's experience single handedly help make our wedding weekend as memorable as it is!
