CMS was able to capture our engagement AND wedding so beautifully and embraced our love for our city and our pups! From the size of our families and wedding party to our crazy dogs we wanted included, they had no problem wrangling everyone and had so much fun with us! Courtney and Dylan were fantastic to work with. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of their clients. I was so nervous to have profession pictures taken, and they made the experience very easy and fun! Additionally, when our bus service canceled day of the wedding, Courtney and Dylan hopped into action to help our wedding planner solve the problem and find another service , and managed to solve the issue without us ever knowing! My husband and I are so thankful that we booked Courtney and Dylan (CMS) for our wedding photography and videography. They are genuine, easy going, organized, and comfortable to work with. They are very creative and know exactly what they are doing to get the perfect shots, even for people like us that are not super comfortable in front of the camera. Courtney was great about getting our little niece to look at the camera and kept people posed and in check so that the timeline was efficient throughout the day. It was fun to see Courtney and Dylan get excited about good shots and made me all the more excited on our day. At different times, Courtney and Dylan both checked on Scott and I when we were getting into stress mode and were really there to help bring us down. Our second photographer, Megan, was also very sweet and helpful throughout the day. It was really fun to work with them all. We were so obsessed with our engagement photos and are already in love with our wedding sneak peeks. I most definitely will recommend CMS to anyone that asks and will hopefully be using them for family sessions in the future.

I originally discovered CMS on the Knot in 2019. I met with Courtney and things kicked off from there. We hired Courtney and Dylan for engagement photos, and from that point we have become FRIENDS. I don’t think many can say they have become friends with their photographers after hiring them. Following the engagement session, they photographed our destination cruise wedding beautifully. They really blended into our family, like we had known them for a lifetime! We couldn’t be more happy with our wedding photos and video. So stunning!! They put a smile on our face every time we see them hanging on our walls. They are so beautiful! We then had a wedding reception here in STL that they captured, as well as newborn photos of our sweet baby boy. We have most definitely found our family photographer forever. They really are the greatest.

I knew from the first time I met Courtney that I wanted her to shoot my wedding. Once we got engaged it was one of the first vendors we booked. We felt even luckier to be able to have Dylan her husband work with her and capture our video. As my husband and I reflect on our big day, one of our favorite parts was having Courtney and Dylan there as our photographer and videographer. We booked Courtney and Dylan in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. We decided on doing photo and video. As you all know COVID decided to greet us all and made us change our wedding day plans. I have personally used CMS for multiple life events, and have attended weddings where they were the photographer and videographer. CMS is goes way above what traditional photographers and videographers do. Not only are they transparent with their business, they are also overwhelming kind and thoughtful people that truly sets the foundation for their business. I receive 15+ wedding images as a sneak peak 24 HOURS after my wedding, and my wedding was a out of town for them! I also receive a sneak peak of my video within 2 weeks of the wedding. THIS IS UNHEARD OF IN THIS INDUSTRY! Photographers and videographers are ESSENTIAL to your wedding day, they are literally the people you will spend 90% of your day with and Courtney and Dylan are the people you want to spend your day with. They make you laugh when things out of your control happen, fix your hair when the wind picks up, hold your flowers when they get to heavy, and creatively come up with new ideas to make you and your new spouse the spotlight. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a wedding photographer/videographer or even just some personal photos done, because every client and session mean so much to them and they do everything they can for it!

I am not sure I have the exact words to put into a review. After finding our DJ he sent me a list of photographers to look into. I looked into CMS first and never looked at another photographer or videographer again. I called Courtney and talked to her for 5 minutes before knowing they were who we wanted to go with. When they weren't available for our wedding date we decided to go back to the drawing board and change our date. I knew I wanted both of them and was willing to change the date so we could have them and WOW, I will never regret that decision. From day 1 they were the most helpful In the planning process. The most understanding and just all around two of the greatest humans I have ever met. Every time we were with them, talking to them, whatever it was we felt like they were just two great friends helping to make this day as special as possible. Dylan actually took our first set of engagement photos and they were incredible. Then because of an foot break for Courtney, she offered us a second engagement session with her since she was unable to do it originally and those pics were just as amazing as the first and both sessions were so fun. We would not have even needed a second session but because we genuinely loved those two humans we wanted to get to spend more time with them and we had a blast. Leading up to the wedding we had a few calls and each call made me as a stressed bride feel a sense of relief. They helped come up with some extremely sweet ideas and ways to connect my grandparents who due to covid were unable to travel and attend the wedding. That is something I will never be able to thank them enough for. From the moment they walked into the wedding and Dylan telling me he got clearance to fly the drone, to the final moment they left where I really didn't want them to leave (not just to take pictures but to stay and party with us). We could not have had a better wedding day and that is in HUGE thanks to them. I look through our sneak peek of pics and watch the teaser video literally EVERYDAY and every time I see something different and laugh/cry/smile ear to ear every single time. They are truly the greatest humans and so incredibly talented. I will never stop referring people to them and can not wait to see them at the few weddings I know the brides have hired them for coming up in the next year. Sincerely love them and hope to continue a relationship In the future. Ready to book our next session already, just have to make up an excuse to my husband as to why I think we need more pics done already!

I can't say enough great things about Courtney and Dylan! They were absolutely amazing, and we loved how both our engagement and wedding photos turned out. Courtney is an absolutely amazing photographer and I couldn’t recommend her more. From the first consultation meeting she was so sweet and personable and made us feel very comfortable with choosing her as our photographer. Both my husband and I are designers/creative people so the photography was one of our top priorities when it came to our wedding. We were not disappointed with Courtney. She rocked out our wedding only a month before she gave birth to her daughter Mae. My husband raved about how well she handled his 3 younger brothers and 5 other groomsmen. Giving them funny nicknames to keep them focused but also letting them joke around a little bit and get some good candid shots. I could go on for days about how amazing of a person and photographer Courtney is but I think you should just go find out for yourself. 1000/10 would recommend.

CMS went above and beyond my expectations. Which I was never worried about the moment I called to book for my wedding. My wedding day was literally the best day of my life and with their help they made it possible. It was predicted to rain all day and before the wedding I reached out to see what plan we could come up with to replace the idea of outside photos and Courtney already had a plan in place before I asked! Another moment that I thought was so special is that Dylan took the time to entertain the ring bearer while they were trying to capture the wedding party pictures. Working with them is amazing because you feel like the best of friends and it’s important to me to have a good relationship with who you’re working with. I would recommend over and over and if you haven’t booked with Courtney and Dylan yet you better hurry because their calendar fills up quickly!
