Fast forward two years later to the actual wedding day… Chris blew the bridal party and our families away with his “all in” approach and kindness. He truly did not miss capturing a single special moment during our day. He stepped in throughout the day to help with things that weren’t even asked of him. He ended up being the only one who could figure out how to bustle my dress! We had the absolute best experience working with him and can’t wait to work with him again in the future!

photos. The process was really focused on us with a get-to-know-you meeting, location brainstorming, timeline planning and mapping out family to include in portraits. On the big day, Chris was great at working with our other vendors to keep things flowing smoothly and things on schedule. Neither of us are particularly fond of having pictures taken but he made us comfortable and kept things incredibly fun as we celebrated throughout the day. Follow-up after the event was great too. Chris was kind enough to sneak a few photos over to me early so we could get our thank-you cards customized and sent out and the full set of photos was ready in just a few weeks. I was out of town when the full set was ready but with online delivery of every photo taken I was still able to jump right in and see the amazing shots and start sharing them with family and friends.

son/Presidio back in May and throughout the day we were left disappointed with Chris. He was late getting to the hotel after I had already corrected him once on the hotel’s address (3 other vendors made it to the hotel just fine). Then he misplaced our wedding rings for 45 min, accusing me of being the one to lose them and making the bridal party an hour late to the venue. When he eventually found the rings *in his car* he didn’t bother to apologize to me or the bridal party who were looking all over the hotel for them. Also, we were missing multiple photo shots in our final album from Chris that I mistakenly assumed were pretty standard and that I didn’t need to explicitly ask for (for example we don’t have any individual full length shots of me in my wedding dress or my husband in his suit, among others). I could go on... Before writing this I tried to come up with an amicable resolution for a small refund of 1 hour due to time lost from when he misplaced our rings in his car and from him being late, but Chris declined and attributed the mishaps to the fact that “weddings have a lot of moving parts”. He also claimed to have stayed 45 minutes later to take photos on the dance floor to make up for some of the time lost, but blurry dance floor photos just aren’t the same. Overall it was not a great experience, which was especially disappointing because it was not the impression we got from him at our engagement photo session.

planned the timeline for the whole day and the shot list, and of course, the day of he was incredible! We had so much fun with him during pictures, which is so important when you’re spending so much of your wedding day with the photographer. Not to mention, the photos he delivers are absolutely breathtaking! We highly recommend Chris and we will absolutely be working with him for any photography needs in the future!

had no time to talk to them other than acknowledging they were there, they didn't need any directions just got everything ready to go. They were so good and several guest mentioned how they hardly noticed the photographers were there. Chris sent me a couple of sneak peak photos the day after the wedding. Then we got our link to the gallery of photos a maybe 3-4 weeks after the wedding. All 600+ of the photos were gorgeous, exactly what I thought I would be getting based on their portfolio. We had lots to choose from and I like that we can share the link to our family and friends who can download any images they wanted as well. I highly recommend CMYK, they were so professional and definitely worth the money!

moments that are so fun and special to look back on. He is so talented and would do whatever was needed to get the best shots, even laying in the dirt! I love that Chris paid attention to all the details and made sure that everyone looked good (no bra straps showing, no hair in your face) and if needed would suggest a certain pose or angle that was more flattering. He is also so great with kids. Our 5 year old wanted to be in every picture and Chris would call him over to “help him” and then was able to take the pictures we needed. He has such a fun personality that made us all feel so comfortable and he was so easy to work with! Thank you SO much Chris for photographing our special day!!

The gallery as a whole told the story of our most special day and it was so emotional and fun to look through! chedules. He was very friendly and upfront! It was nice to have the call and save on costs by not having to fly out to California to meet with him. He was able to customize our package since we weren't doing a bridal shoot. When we had our call to finalize the photos we wanted, he listened to us and made suggestions we hadn't even thought of! The day of the wedding he was so helpful! He assisted the groomsmen with getting into their tuxes/vests. He really personalized the photos for us! He even held my dress open for me to step into. He paid attention to the details that we didn't think about. Everyone at our wedding commented about how great he was. He treated everyone with respect. He is friendly, answers questions timely, listens and really delivers a personalized, memorable wedding for each couple he shoots. His prices are affordable and the photos are stunning. You can not go wrong with CMYK! I recommend him for all your photography needs!

. I was immediately taken with his incredible eye and stunning photos. As soon as we met Chris all my nerves I had went away and knew he was the photographer for us! He was so easy to work with for our engagement photos and our wedding and was always a true professional but made every moment so much fun! My husband and I are not the best when it comes to professional photos and Chris guided us so beautifully and make us so comfortable, and our photos looked like something out of a magazine! ery special moment, picturesque scenery, and emotion to go along with it. Chris (the owner) was most amazing to work with. He was easy going and allowed my husband and I to control our day. He was able to capture the best sides and images of both of us. He never asked us to do something that made us look or feel uncomfortable, and our photos showed that. Additionally, our daughter was a big part of the wedding day. Not only was Chris and his team able to capture every moment with us, they were able captured each special moment with our daughter. All of our family and friends were delighted to work with his team. I have seen many weddings look and feel very awkward, due to the photography/videography team members forcing photos or poses, getting in the way of guests, or just not being able to capture the beauty of the bride and groom. Chris and his team were far from this. They always seemed to be behind the scenes, were a delight to work with, and were really helpful (even with things that didn't involve the photography). I believe they were the icing on top of the cake and are the perfect addition to your perfect wedding day.

t working with Chris: 1. He was great at communicating with us beforehand to make sure he knew what we were looking for, both via video chat and on the phone. We had a few scheduled check-ins, and this was great because we had so much going on I probably wouldn't have reached out on my own. 2. His pre-wedding planning - He helped me put together a timeline for the pictures, which in turn helped me put together my own wedding timeline. It was great to talk through what would happen when, and with whom. I definitely needed that! 3. During the wedding he was fantastic to work with. He was definitely efficient, and I didn't feel like we were "missing out" on the wedding itself. He was funny and super charming with my family and friends, and he also worked in a way that didn't feel like the photography was always "in the way", but somehow he managed to capture everything! 4. The delivery - I loved having a direct link to all of my photos that I could share with my family and friends! It is also super easy an inexpensive to order prints. 5. The photos themselves were just gorgeous and captured our day in a way that we really wanted. I would highly recommend Chris as a photographer for any of your life events. I hope to work with him again soon.

with the hectic pace of a wedding day. He made everything very smooth. We just got our photos back and they are gorgeous.

and our shoot was scheduled. My husband and I are not huge on taking photos but definitely wanted to document this exciting time in our life and wanted to make sure our daughter was involved as well. Chris was great! Picked amazing poses for us that made us feel comfortable and made us laugh to get those perfect candid shots, which also made it so much fun. A couple days after the shoot Chris sent us a little sneak peek and from then we were SOLD! We hadn’t even seen the rest of the photos and we already knew we wanted to book Chris for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding we had a few phone calls and facetimes as he walked us through the process and gave us ideas to help us plan our special day. Chris and his crew organized our families making the after the ceremony photos go seamlessly. Then for the Party!! I feel like Chris and his crew were always in just the right place at exactly the right time. We love all the action shots from our reception, they really capture what a great time everyone had. Chris even slipped us out of the party for a few quick photos as the sun was setting. Feel so lucky to have had such a positive experience and we’re looking forward to future family photoshoots with Chris!

r requested photo opportunities into the 6 hours we had booked with him. We were impressed with his expertise in wedding photography, and we absolutely LOVED his unique artistic style. I initially felt like wedding photos were a long boring process, but Chris definitely added some flair and fun to our photo sessions. He went above and beyond our expectations, making this average girl feel like Royalty! my venue to completely lose power while everyone was getting ready. Chris remained so calm and kept us on schedule through the whole day. My photos are absolutely stunning. Every time we look through them it brings us back to that magical day.

verted individual, Chris made me and my husband both feel completely comfortable around the camera and around himself! We had a BLAST shooting our engagement pictures, and we hardly noticed him taking pictures at the wedding, except when we needed to. I actually used The Knot a lot when we were planning our wedding and was always looking at the reviews on photographers, venues, etc... So if you're reading this and on the fence, let me give you a little push! He's phenomenal with people (including the wedding party and guests), takes some fantastic pictures, and it a professional business man with the delivery of service. We are so glad we met Chris and would/do recommend him to EVERYONE we know.
