set, working with Brooke Taylor, the CN Catering representative, was extremely difficult. Meetings with her always felt rushed and one-sided—as if we had to accommodate her schedule rather than being treated as valued clients. She was consistently unaccommodating, dismissive, and lacking in basic courtesy, making the planning process unnecessarily stressful. What made things even worse was the complete lack of transparency. We were blindsided by over $2,000 in additional fees that were never clearly discussed. For example, when we inquired about the earliest time we could access the venue, Brooke casually mentioned 3 PM—but failed to inform us that this would come with a $1,000 surcharge. She also added an extra police car to our invoice—another $1,000—without any prior discussion or consent. We received receipts with inflated charges for items and services that had previously been quoted at lower rates by another CN representative. It felt deceptive, as if we were being nickel-and-dimed at every turn. Initially, we had been working with David Kilpatrick, who seemed courteous and responsive. Unfortunately, we were later passed off to Brooke Taylor—and that’s when things truly went downhill. On the actual day of our wedding, Brooke was sitting in the office sipping coffee while issues unfolded all around her. Some of the kids’ meals were mistakenly served to adults, and children were given adult meals. When I politely asked her to switch them, she glanced at a piece of paper, said “No,” and walked off. I also asked for the Wi-Fi password to connect my laptop and was again met with a flat “No,” told to “ask someone else.” When we inquired about getting a carpet for the stage—since it had no covering—her response was, “That’ll be an additional $400,” with no willingness to offer help or alternatives. The food itself was another major disappointment. We ordered two entrees and did not expect the portion sizes to be so shockingly small. On a table of 13 guests, they served only four walnut shrimps and four cheese balls as appetizers—an absurdly inadequate quantity that felt like a joke. The dinner rolls were stale and came with hard, frozen butter that was practically inedible. The food was not served properly or in a timely manner, and no effort was made to ensure the guests were satisfied. Overall, Brooke was one of the most unprofessional and indifferent vendor representatives we encountered throughout our entire wedding planning experience. Her lack of communication, unwillingness to assist even on the day of the event, and overall dismissive attitude were shocking. At one point, I genuinely wished we had canceled the entire event and gone with someone else. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst vendor experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly caution anyone considering CN Catering to ask detailed questions, get every promise in writing, and, if possible, avoid working with Brooke Taylor altogether. What was supposed to be a joyful and memorable day was tainted by careless service, unfulfilled expectations, and blatant disregard for the customer experience.

al consultation to the final bite, the entire process was seamless and exceeded our expectations. We opted for a plated buffet stye dinner and was not disappointed. The appetizers such as pork tacos and macaroni bites were a hit. Also, the signature drink of spicy pineapple margarita was the talk of the night. The company was also very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions and allergies. Additionally, the staff was friendly, professional, and efficient throughout the evening. Though the price was quite high, it was reasonable for the quality of the food and service presented. We highly recommend CN Catering for all events especially weddings!

and experience provided for our daughter’s wedding from Day 1-- nearly a year before the wedding. The constant communication from the team was above and beyond; and flexibility as decisions changed leading up to the reception were met with joy, understanding, and a genuine re-assurance that none of the changes are an issue!! What a relief! The venue is fantastic and food prepared by Michael nothing short of amazing! Guest after guest commented on the venue, the ambiance, the vibe, the food, the attention to detail, and cleanliness throughout the entire night! The catering experience was incredible. Michael is great and very easy to work with, no matter what crazy idea and/or change you throw at him. Without a doubt, this team goes the extra mile. Disaster was avoided as “Dad” forgot to get a bottle of champagne for the “couples toast” to kick off the reception. Not to worry, one of the staff literally sprinted to the local store and was back with champagne before the toast was to begin, all without anyone realizing what had happened (minus the valet team who videoed the sprint—just exceptional). If you’re looking for attention to detail, and those “extras” that separate venues and catering from each other, then Brake & Clutch and CN Catering are your answer. Leave everything to them and have a great time! You won’t be disappointed!

Andrew is the head manager that I typically work with and who I had been working with throughout my process. Andrew truly went above and beyond for my Husband and I's wedding. He made the process so easy and answered any questions that I had. I got married on 05/04/24, Andrew sent Gene to be there at the wedding and Gene understood the assignment and was so amazing. He helped my team that was coordinating my day and made sure other vendors were taken care of. My team was raving about how Gene helped with setting up the bar facade we had, and it was a pretty hot day so he made sure his team was on it to serve water to the guests, but also the entire day made sure me and my husband were taken care. I could not be more thankful to have had CN catering on our day, they were so personable and kind to all the guests and made sure everyone was taken care of. One big compliment that I heard from every single one of my guests was how spectacular the food was, which my husband and I agreed with them. Everything has a lot of flavor and tastes so fresh. I could not think of a better catering company to have hired for our wedding. Truly, if you are looking at CN catering and are unsure, do not hesitate because they will make sure to go above and beyond every wedding and the food will not disappoint!

ssional and quick communication, but it seemed like a coin toss at the time - I was willing to sacrifice a little communication for better food. We were SO happy that we chose them, though - my brother used them for his wedding about 6 months before mine and the food was amazing. The food our our wedding was just as good - so many people told me it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. My understanding is that they don't cook the food 100% prior to it being brought to the venue - they actually finish cooking it on site, so it stays fresh. Whatever they do, it's delicious. I do want to also note that they're awesome to work with. Andrew was our go-to guy for the entirety of the planning process (and really the reason when signed with them in the first place) and actually on site the day of the event - he was always super responsive and very very helpful when it came to recommendations and advice on dishes to serve, how to serve them (buffet or plated? Passed appetizers or not? etc etc) as well as timelines and details. CN also has a lot of other things you can rent from them as well - as one reviewer said, it's not always the cheapest option out there, but the convenience of minimizing your number of vendors is not to be overstated. Anyways, if you're trying to choose between caterers (which I know is so hard to do because you can't try their food before!), I would definitely recommend CN. You won't be disappointed.

and fresh and there were so many selections to choose from. We were given a tasting which offered a ton of different foods to try with hundreds of items to choose from. when deciding the actual menu. The wait staff during the wedding were very polite and professional and no one had to wait for anything. The buffet line was run so smoothly and went so quick that guest couldn't believe it. The tables were set very nice and professionally and looked beautiful. The 4 stars comes from a few things---if you want liquor, you can provide it, HOWEVER, anything extra in your drinks from what is generally provided (certain juices, mixers, fruit etc.) you have to buy through them for a huge upcharge on what you can go find and buy yourself. The bartenders opened every single case of beer and some alcohol that was not used at all to where we could not return any of it. My suggestions would be, don't break open any packaging unless it's time to use the item. CN has the market on up lighting, linens, chargers, photo booths, greenery walls, confetti canons, and many other items. If you want any of these for your reception, you cannot resource any of these items cheaper from any other vendors. You HAVE to use and purchase through CN-felt like the pricing was a little high for some of this. Communication with staff during the planning process was very good.

nd this was the one vendor I was going to be PICKY about given I am such a foodie. We knew we wanted a plated meal for the right ambiance and CN knocked it out of the park. Anyone planning a wedding needs to be realistic about the true costs associated with having such an event - especially a plated meal. It will likely be the most expensive ticket item for your wedding day - and for good reason! Do your research, take a deep breath, and set a realistic price point for your fabulous wedding meal. CN is reasonable and worth every single penny. To start off - we went to a public tasting event for CN Catering to really get a proper snapshot of what all they have to offer. We not only got to see how great the food looked and tasted, but we got to see true presentation, service, and how much they pay attention to detail. We had some favourites from the tasting and decided it was time to do a private tasting. We got to curate our menu and taste every single item - everything was SO good and we got to make tweaks here and there to each item. CN was incredibly receptive and paid attention to each note when it came to the final product. Andrew was a dream to work with throughout the entire process and was readily available if we had any questions come up! While we didn't do a drinks package (bought our own from Spec's), we did add on various rentals, a dance floor, and an elevated mixers package so that we could have a really nice open bar. I probably messaged back with Andrew 10-12 times with questions regarding my liquor order from Spec's and he provided such great guidance on how much we should order. I didn't even get to taste test their cocktail mixes before the wedding (we could have - I just didn't bother) - but I can tell you I was SHOOK on the presentation. The espresso martinis even had a chocolate swirl pattern inside the martini glasses! The French 75s had a perfect lemon twist rind on top - these details may not matter to many, but I am a person who lives and thrives in the detail and they nailed it. We even had a bit of a difficult plate rental that had scalloped edges so the plate covers couldn't perfectly lock - and the CN team handled it with such finesse and no plates were dropped! Not even a bobble. We missed our entire cocktail hour since we were taking pictures, and CN was nice enough to curate an entire tray of fresh appetizers for my husband and I to munch on during our plated meal. SO SWEET! For anyone wondering what we got - we did the pear crostini, the meatball, the honey walnut shrimp, and the tortellini skewer for appetizers. All are incredible - but I will say the honey walnut shrimp blew everyone out of the water. It tends to be commented on the most in reviews with CN catering and there is a REASON for that (it is that good). For our plated meals - we offered the Dallas strip steak medallions with the mushroom peppercorn sauce, a creamy tomato basil sauce smothered on seared chicken breast, and an eggplant parmesan for our vegetarians. All options came with the same sides - broccolini, yukon gold mashed potatoes, and dinner rolls. EVERYONE was happy. I nit picked all three dishes at our head table to spot check flavour and each one was perfection. To finish the night, we had their classic gyoza dumplings and it was the perfect snack while killing it on the dance floor. THANK YOU CN CATERING for playing such a crucial role on our big day! We will cherish the memories (and GOOD food) forever.

The macaroni and cheese was probably the best I have ever tasted! We received many compliments on the food, but also the station process itself. There were no lines at our 160 guest event, and I was very impressed with the appearance of the stations. Service began quickly after the ceremony, before the bride and room arrived, as requested. No sitting around waiting. There seemed to be servers everywhere, and it was so nice to have them cut and serve the bride and grooms cake. CN Catering met and surpassed my expectations. and I enthusiastically recommend them.
