CNY Face Candy

Terrible customer service! Emailed them because I was very interested in having them do makeup for my wedding but they never responded! Not what you want to happen when you pursue someone for one of the biggest days of your life.

Pros: best wedding hair and makeup I have seen for an entire wedding party, hands down. Everyone was very happy with how both hair and makeup turned out whether they gave Ashley the pictures (she was the one doing the hair) or let her come up with her own ideas. Tabetha did a great job on the makeup as well, it looked MUCH better the day of then during the trial so I think it is safe to just skip the trial. My hair was also done by Tabetha on the trial and looked really good but it was done by Ashley the day of (without acknowledging that she didn't do the trial) and looked even better (although not very similar to what the trial version looked like) They both do a great job on hair so I would just skip the hair and makeup trials altogether. Cons: they arrived a little late (about 15 minutes) to start and so that kind of put the whole day behind, which wouldn't have been a big deal at all if she would have had the foresight to not put me last in the order for hair and makeup since we had planned on doing first look pictures and all of our group shots before the wedding. As itwas I finally got anxious and asked to go next, but it was too late at that point and we were already an hour late for photos which left us paying the photographer for an hour of getting ready pics (which aren't really worth it) and not getting all of the shots we wanted. Also, although the contract stated that payment could be made by cash or check on the day of, Tabetha had emailed me and asked that everyone pay in cash only the day of, which isn't a huge deal but a couple of the girls of course forgot and it's hard to come up with $150 on the spot like that but I didn't want to fight over the fact that if the contract says checks are okay day of then they should be. In the end it worked out fine but was a little bit of a headache for no reason. Overall impression: I think I would still recommend them based on the amazing quality of work. Personally in retrospect I 100% would request that the bride not go last if you are trying to get pictures done beforehand just to be on the safe side, and just ask them to put a little more hairspray in (my friends added some hairspray after the initial pictures which definitely helped it stay better since there wasn't much to begin with).

I would highly recommend Tabetha. She did my hair for my wedding, as well as my 8 bridesmaids! I was really worried because I had this distinct picture in my head of what I wanted hair-wise for my big day. Not only did she deliver, I couldn't have been happier. She also did my color prior to our day and she knocked that out of the park as well. Extremely smart, and sweet, she just really knows her trade. 4 years later and she is still my hairstylist! She's someone I look forward to seeing because all this aside, she's just a really great person! Book her!

I am SO glad I chose CNY FaceCandy for my wedding day beauty! Tabetha and Ashlee are both incredible artists and truly made me feel gorgeous on my big day! I had a large wedding party and they were so professional and efficient, while giving attention to each and every person. I loved Tabetha's work so much that I am now a regular client of hers! I cannot recommend CNY FaceCandy enough; even my bridesmaids are either soon to be hair clients, or have recommended her services for their loved ones. You won't regret booking with this amazing team.
