Overall my event went smoothly and all the florals were delivered at the right time and made the event look great. However, it's seems like there was a massive communication gap with Kim for my wedding. I met with Kim prior to my wedding to review the vases we wanted to use. I was told if we chose the glass vases that we would keep them and of course the flowers in them. There was a miscommunication about picking them up after the event so we asked for them to be returned. When they were returned, we only received 4 bridesmaid bouquets back even though I saw someone collect a long row of them after the event (we had 4 small arrangements for the cocktail hour, 9 reception table arrangements, and 6 bridesmaid bouquets - yet only received 4 bridesmaid bouquets back). I know some guests took arrangements which was fine, but they didn't take 12+... It was an 80 person wedding so not very big. However, what I was most surprised about was my bridal bouquet wasn’t returned. Additionally, we discussed the color scheme – mostly reds with a few pinks and champagne colors. That was definitely not captured in what I received. I would say the flowers were mostly white/dusty pink with a bit of red. Pictures below to demonstrate inspo provided vs what was received. The response when I asked about the incorrect colors was "sometimes with a holiday they don’t all come in correctly" which is shocking considering I'm paying for something and if it can't be done properly, I should've been told that well in advance. I was never told that my color choice might not "come in correctly."

During our first meeting, Kim even mentioned using a flower that was significant to our family which I had not considered before. We have gotten so many compliments on our flowers and broken flower arch.

BREATHTAKING!!! I am still in awe at the work of Coastal Creations when I look at our wedding photos. I gave Kim inspiration photos and her creations were better than we could’ve ever imagined. She truly made our wedding a fairytale. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the florals. Kim was also an absolute delight to work with. I made several changes throughout the planning process, such as different bridesmaid dresses, flowers we wanted to be used, etc. and Kim was so flexible and understanding of our vision and truly made our dream wedding come to life. There is not a single thing that could’ve been done better. I am so happy we found Kim for our special day!!!

Kim and the Coastal Creations team were absolutely amazing! I didn’t know a lot about florals and on our first meeting Kim had talked me through everything and made suggestions on colors and arrangements that could complement our decor and wedding colors. She was extremely flexible as we changed and adjusted things multiple times in the months leading up to the wedding. She was timely in her responses and helpful with any questions we asked. She managed to make the most beautiful floral arrangements that complemented the venue and our theme and added the perfect amount of color. We had a few unique arrangements: one that draped over our photo booth backdrop, two inside of antique milk jugs, and one covering a wagon that one of the flower girls rode in. They all turned out so amazingly beautiful!! The bouquets for me and the bridesmaids were stunning and the boutonnières and corsages were so pretty as well! I highly recommend Coastal Creations for all of your floral needs - we couldn’t be happier!

Kim was PHENOMENAL. Being from New Jersey there was always a certain expectation for flowers and my mom was extremely particular with them. After having my first florist cancel on me due to Covid related issues, I found Kim on a limb after restarting my entire florist research process. From my first conversation with Kim, I knew it was fate. She was originally from New Jersey where she ran her family business up there. Funny enough - her family business actually was the florist for my aunt's wedding back in New Jersey. Kim made the flower process so seamless. She was so responsive, kind, and caring during the flower process. We had revisions up until 2 weeks before the wedding, and Kim was there through every step of the way. Not being from Charleston was extremely difficult to find vendors, but I truly lucked out with Kim and Coastal Creations. Matt, her husband, ended up setting up the flowers the day of our wedding and they turned out so beautiful. It was everything I hoped for and more! Everything looked stunning and the reception space was so romantic with the candles and flowers together! I wish I could relive the day all over again just because I was so in love with the way the flowers came together. We even ended up keeping aton of the flowers the following day that Kim and Matt had left for us at our venue. I can't thank Kim enough for what she put together! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! Kim was amazing to work with! As a bride that knew nothing about flowers I went by photos to show Kim what I wanted and she didn't disappoint. My bouquet was a dream! I had a circle arch for my ceremony that I had flower put on and they were breath taking. Bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnière, head table everything that I wanted looked spot on!

Kim does a beautiful job creating gorgeous arrangements that compliment any party! We ordered some arrangements for our event this past weekend and the flowers were what the guests noticed first. I hired Coastal Creations for my wedding back in December. The florals they delivered were beautiful and executed well. However, my head table, which I had hoped to have the "wow factor" was intended to be lined with florals (as stated in our contract), which were not delivered. I followed up with CC team following my wedding asking for a small reimbursement due to my understanding of not receiving all that I paid for. I emailed, left voicemails, and ultimately received no response regarding the issue. That being said, the florals were absolutely beautiful, but would advise any potential client to be very diligent regarding the contract you sign as to all you intend to receive.

I recently worked with Kim at Coastal Creations for my wedding flowers and I was blown away by her talent! She was a dream to work with and made the planning process so easy and stress free. We recently used Coastal Creations for a baby shower we were hosting this summer! Kim was able to turn our simple backyard into a gorgeous display of flowers and centerpieces. Our wedding planner works very closely with Kim at Coastal Creations and when it was time to choose our florist, I am so very glad she recommended Kim! I had a very 'loose' idea in mind of what I had envisioned for flowers for our wedding and Kim exceeded every expectation I had, tenfold. Kim's floral designs are truly a work of art. Every single guest of our wedding has commented (and still is!) on how gorgeous the florals were. From the floral wall of orchids dripping down the green wall of the Gadsden House, the double Harlow stands on the long farm house tables, even down to the beautiful orchids on our cake- everything was over the top and stunningly gorgeous. Kim is amazing! I am not what I consider a "flower" expert, and she made it so easy to sit down and select flowers that went with my theme colors and vision for the special day. She is most definitely an expert at what she does! From our arch way to bouquets, every arrangement was as anticipated! Despite COVID-19 related issues, we had to reschedule our original date. Kim was flexible and accommodating for these changes and a few last minute upgrades and details for the new date.
