Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens

From the bridal cottage to the gorgeous gazebo we said our vows in front of, this venue was perfect!

My husband and I were had our ceremony and reception at the new visitor's center and it was wonderful!! The staff was very helpful and courteous, there was plenty of room for a 100 guests, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bridal cottage was the perfect place for my bridal party and I to get ready in. With all of the gardens, gazebos, and orchid green house on site my photos look phenomenal. I highly recommend that future brides consider this location.

Our wedding was in May, so all the flowers were starting to bloom. Our ceremony was at the gazebo; which was shaded by huge oak trees & was very nice since it was so hot. Reception was at the pavilion; which is very plain. It had picnic tables which was nice. There was a deck that went over the water & that was our dance floor. The one bad thing; there's a fountain in the pond that is broken. I was told upon booking of the venue that it would be fixed by my wedding day (which was booked 8mmonths in advance). It was not fixed and I was told it would not be fixed.

The Bamboo Farm and Coastal Gardens is a great little spot outside of busy downtown Savannah. Downtown Savannah venues are beautiful but pricey! The Bamboo Farm was great! We had the ceremony in the cottage garden in front of a gazebo and the reception was held under the large pavilion next to a pond. You only get up to 8 hours for the event(including decorating, the event, and clean up)and if you use the pavilion you have to remove a bunch of picnic tables and put them all back so make sure you have a bunch of helpers! It worked out really well for us though. We wanted a casual fun more family reunion style reception and BFCG was a great location for us. Keep in mind that they don't provide anything along the lines of a day of coordinator, catering, etc. You must do it all on your own!
