l. I had a lot of questions and changes in the beginning of this wedding planning process, and she was helpful and responsive each time. At our tasting, she helped me put my ideas together and helped me decide on the color scheme and decor. As the wedding got closer, she kept in contact and never made me feel silly for my questions. Then the wedding came, and she just made all our visions and dreams come to life. She made sure everything was in its place, and looked stunning. She kept the day running smoothly and on time. I could not have gotten through it without her! The event staff was great! Everyone was so kind and helpful. We had a few elderly guests that needed some accommodations, and the staff handled it smoothly. There was never a line at the bar and there was always someone nearby during cocktail hour with a tray of food. Everyone worked together great to make it a cohesive feel. The food was spectacular. Everyone was raving about how good their meals were. The cocktail hour snacks were a big hit as well. Everything tasted and looked amazing. Coastal Gourmet is a big reason why I will remember our wedding day as absolutely stunning and perfect.

we trusted. Jenna took the time to help us plan the menu we envisioned, explain everything from cost to planning, day of timeline. We felt so comfortable in trusting her and Coastal to make our day what we imagined. The entire wedding planning process was so easy, Coastal has so much experience in the wedding industry and at our venue. The level of expertise and help continued through out the entire planing process and day of our wedding. On our wedding day Jenna managed deliveries from multiple vendors with ease the venue came together exactly as we imagined without us needing to step in for anything. We have received countless compliments from our guest about the coastal staff, the food and the bar service. Everything tasted great came out hot and portions are large. Our bridal attendant introduced herself before the ceremony and was on top of our needs all night. We highly recommend coastal gourmet!

p with small detail changes and incorporated our numerous personal touches. They even allowed us to bring two cases of our own craft beer to help personalize the bar selection. In every meeting we had with Jenna we felt well taken care of and supported. Our tasting did feel a bit rushed, as Jenna wanted to go over details while we ate. We would have liked to have time to eat and enjoy before going over the details. We weren't aware that we would need to come with final ideas and minute details like napkins, flatware, etc. It seemed like it was expected that we would know what we wanted in advance, but we were never given a catalog or examples beforehand. However, with Jenna’s laptop for reference photos and her expert advice, we felt safe trusting Jenna’s judgment, and everything turned out beautifully. The day of the event went so smoothly, the set up was spot on, drinks were flowing, and the food was truly delicious. The best we’ve ever had at a wedding! And the portions were huge! We heard from a number of guests how much they loved the food and desserts. One small note, their attention to us at the reception was a bit lacking compared to what they told us would happen – no drinks were ready for us as we entered the happy hour and no platter of appetizers was waiting in the suite. Our “bridal attendant” (separate from the coordinator) introduced herself to us at the beginning of the night, and then we never saw her again. However, Allie, our ROCKSTAR coordinator quickly recognized the issue and picked up the slack. Allie was incredible - taking care of all the little details throughout the night. Overall we couldn’t be more thrilled. Thank you, Coastal Gourmet!!

we want and create a really unique dining experience for our guests, and made sure everything ran according to plan on the day. I am very much a type A bride, so I really appreciate that she let me take charge at times too and craft my own dream wedding, but she was there to provide expert feedback the whole time still. The entire wedding planning process was a little overwhelming, but we ended up meeting with Jenna, ad she helped put us at ease You could tell she has a ton of experience in the wedding industry, which was incredibly helpful for us. They were very flexible in the food choices and making adjustments. They provided a timeline and seating arrangements. It was so easy dropping some things off the day before - when we arrive on the wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, and the service was great. Jenna and her team knew exactly how to keep everything flowing. I don't know what I would have done without Jenna & Costal Gourmet. I highly recommend using Costal Gourmet for your wedding or special occasion!

dinator. The food tasted amazing and our guests are still raving over the hors d'oeuvres and the entrees. I personally ate their Mystic Market Crab Cakes and they were the best. They also had a specific server that was dedicated to us as the bride and groom, and she was incredibly sweet and made sure we were properly fed and always had a drink if we wanted it. Coastal Gourmet is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and the food was absolutely incredible.

Jenna was so patient with us from the start, was NEVER pushy (like some other vendors we met with) and was so on top of every detail (often letting us know what other couples have done or wish they did, and what we might want to think about next with planning). Coastal Gourmet was exceptional from start to finish – the food was incredible and so many options for us to pick from. Beyond the food, we didn’t have to worry about anything when working with them. Jenna and her team handled everything – from rentals, staffing, the bar and food menu, décor set-up, décor planning, day-of timeline, rehearsals, and so much more. We couldn’t have done it without Jenna and her team’s help (they kept us so organized!) and if we had to plan our wedding all over again, we would go with Coastal Gourmet again!

nd cheese, tomato soup sippers with mini grilled cheese, mini chicken and waffle sliders, maple glazed pork belly, and we had two stations – a raw bar and an antipasto station. Dinner was short ribs with cabernet sauce, hazelnut crusted chicken, or butternut squash ravioli. We were so impressed by their large selections and their ability to customize anything. Food was the most important element for us, and we were not disappointed. We worked mostly with Jenna, who had an incredible attention to detail, and Dee helped us day of and made sure everything ran smoothly. So grateful for their guidance and expertise!

eyond words during the planning of our wedding. Her execution with the Coastal Gourmet team on the day of was equally as incredible. The food was fantastic and with 125 guests the execution was flawless. 100% the right decision for any event!

ltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington CT. When you book Saltwater you have the choice of working with one of three caterers. We met with all of them and were immediately drawn to Coastal - more importantly to Jenna. From the moment with met with Jenna she made us feel immediately comfortable and we felt confident we were in the right hands. Jenna is VERY detailed, she asked us questions we hadn’t thought of, gave us options we didn’t think were possible, and talked us through everything – seriously EVERYTHING – we could possibly need. We got engaged in 2020 and had a long engagement. She kept in contact with us periodically, checked in when big decisions needed to be made, and was ALWAYS available with any question we had. When our wedding weekend finally came and we had our rehearsal, our decision to book with Jenna and Costal was even more apparent when we got a glimpse of how Jenna would conduct the day and control the flow – she made it look effortless while being incredibly efficient. On our wedding day I cannot stress how impressed we were. Jenna had the decorations for our venue set-up with pristine accuracy, we had very detailed décor and she somehow made it even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Every single server, bartender, attendant, chef, and employee we met was friendly, helpful, and always appeared to be one step ahead. Jenna and the Coastal team were a huge part of what made our day magic and we wouldn’t have had the happiest day of our lives without them. Thank you so much Jenna. Thank you so much Coastal. We will forever love you!

also super responsive (even when I was asking likely silly questions). Day of, they worked to make sure everything was perfect and nothing was missed. Brittany was our day of go to person and she made sure my husband and I were eating and drinking and having fun. I highly recommend them to anyone!

r we postponed the wedding twice due to COVID. Coastal's chef at the time crafted a creative menu for our Indian fusion wedding, including a vegetarian entree of chana masala and saag paneer, as well as several Indian-inspired appetizers like chaat and marinated vegetable skewers. The chicken and salmon dishes they prepared were also just incredible. At the wedding, the food was served hot and very well-prepared. Coastal also expertly coordinated the day of the wedding and made sure that everything ran smoothly. Our initial contact at Coastal left the company shortly before our wedding, but the new coordinator (Keri) made sure nothing fell through the cracks. She ensured that our ceremony and reception ran according to schedule, and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves once the wedding got started. Our attendant (Brittney) made sure that we always had food or a drink in hand at the reception and rehearsal dinner. We had our rehearsal dinner at Latitude 41, one of Coastal's restaurants. The dinner buffet and dessert were delicious, and the event was very well executed. We wholeheartedly recommend Coastal's services. You will not be disappointed.

Due to the pandemic, my daughter and her fiance had to move their wedding date twice, but Michael was able to accommodate the multiple changes and helped to ensure that our daughter's wedding day was perfect. tacular. Our family and friends are still raving about the food! We went with a station style for our dinner and it gave us so many more delicious options than a traditional sit-down dinner, which is exactly what we wanted. Burgers and kabobs aren't traditional for a wedding, but they made for a much more fun event! Michael's team is wonderful. Sunny, our attendant for the day, was polite and attentive. We always had food/dessert at our table, and we never went without a drink (which is great when you're at a winery!) Michael was very familiar with our venue (Saltwater Farm Vineyard), so that was a big help when planning, because he knew exactly what he would need and was able to give us a price immediately. He also did a great job with organizing everything the day of, directing the ceremony, the introductions to the reception, and dinner. We would definitely recommend Coastal Gourmet to anyone that asks!

so professional and warm, clearly likes her job, and is extremely knowledgeable about weddings in general but also the local area. She was able to answer all our questions, make recommendations that paid out in spades, and calm any and all of our worries. In addition to our wedding, Coastal Gourmet catered the welcome party we hosted for our guests the evening before the wedding. The staff at this event was also amazing. Very professional and helpful. And of course, a review of the caterer would not be complete without mentioning the food at both events. In a word: phenomenal. We had been looking forward to these meals for almost two years! From the first meeting where the menu was conceived to the tasting where we got to try everything, we have been excited for this food. The stations, passed apps, and meals all had our guests raving.

we wanted could fit in. We were treated to an absolutely incredible tasting where we were treated like a King and Queen! We gave feedback on the food, what we liked and didn’t like, and Michael made sure to take those notes down. The final meeting with Michael before the wedding was so thorough, touching on every little detail as he walked us through our whole day. It was helpful and informative and made us feel so confident our day would go on perfectly. And it did! The food at our wedding was SPECTACULAR! So delicious! Eric and I were provided our own personal server by Coastal Gourmet to make sure we were fed and our drinks were never empty! And, boy, did they deliver! When an unexpected fog rolled in halfway through cocktail hour and we left to take the most stunning photos, the server brought us out a personal tray of all of our appetizers to try. We really appreciated that. Our entrees were delicious, and Eric and I opted for a combo plate to try all three entrees (chicken, short rib, cod). Our plate included 2 out of the three, but we are glad it did. We were SO full, we would have felt terrible wasting food. But Coastal Gourmet servers made sure to check with us if we wanted to be served the third entree as well. Very considerate. We loved our food and would turn around and hire Coastal Gourmet again in a heart beat! Good pricing, works with your budget, thorough and considerate, professional, and a kind group of people to work with.

o go. Not only did their menus match our tastes the best, but they were the most reasonably priced and the most professional. Throughout the planning process we worked with Kimberly. We always said, "No matter what else goes wrong, we have Kimberly, so we don't have to worry." Just having her working with us did so much to alleviate my wedding planning anxiety. She's a total pro. For our day-of event manager, we worked with Michael. He was also wonderful, and was on top of everything without making it look like it was difficult. He even helped us out by coming to our wedding rehearsal and walking us through it, which was such a relief. The food was delicious! My husband and I were able to have plates made with a bit of each entree, so we got to try it all. Everyone complimented our food and commented how big the portions were. The bar was on consumption, so we actually were refunded because our guests drank less than the estimate. Coastal Gourmet also hosted our rehearsal dinner at Latitude 41, which made everything really easy. We felt like one of the best decisions we made wedding planning was to book Coastal Gourmet, and much of that was due to how wonderful and professional Kimberly is. We highly recommend them.

our experience with working with them/selecting them as our vendor. We worked with Michael Ferreira and from our very first meeting with Michael until our last goodbye on our wedding day he and Coastal were nothing short of professional, personable and beyond knowledgeable. Michael not only organized everything on the catering end but also organized our entire day, he knows the venue so well he was the one organizing everything on the day of, and I mean everything... from where some signs should be placed, to putting out the centerpieces and party favors, arranging how the guests seats should be and even how the bridal party would be walking out and where we would all be walking from. He was there at our rehearsal and did the whole ceremony walk through with us. These are not things I expected to get with catering/as part of the package, but that is what Coastal Gourmet and Michael bring to the table- they are the whole package. The food was outstanding, our family and guests are still raving about it. When the bud light stock got a little low (our guests do love their bud light!) Michael was right on it and had more brought to the venue from off site, the communication and quick response with that and everything else throughout our entire experience working with them was nothing short of impressive. We also were introduced to Brittney with Coastal Gourmet on the day of our wedding and she was (of course) phenomenal as well, she always made sure my fiance and I had a drink or food in hand and also made me feel so at ease before I was about to walk down the isle just by talking with me as if she was one of my long time girlfriends. When one of our guests dropped a bottle on the dance floor, Brittney was right on it and took care if it in such a fun and light-hearted way it made myself and the guests feel so comfortable. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience with Coastal Gourmet was (but they only allow so many characters to by typed!). Thank you Coastal Gourmet & the whole team for your exceptional service and making our wedding day run as smooth as it did, we will always look back on our day and you and your team will always stand out!

bles to chairs and beyond. Jenna was extremely diligent to help make sure our big day was everything we wanted and more. Beyond and including Jenna, all the staff were kind, attentive, and extremely professional, but also fun! This was extremely evident as the bride and several other guests had medical food allergies that were easily handled by the kitchens and staff. As others with food allergies can relate to, we cannot express enough how much stress was alleviated by Jenna and the team handling our concerns by making menu alterations and finding solutions to all of our concerns with ease. Not to mention how the allergies were handled in such a discrete manner that no one was singled out nor did they miss out on the food selections as there were so many options. Seriously the food was amazing and I highly recommend Coastal Gourmet for your wedding caterer; you will not be disappointed!

erformance at the seafood station was very impressive. During cocktail hour the mini lobster rolls and the macaroni and cheese balls were our favorite. Although I heard from some of the guests that they didn't get to try them, so the circulation may have lacked a little. Overall, we loved the food and we loved working with Kimberly who made everything "wonderful".

is an expert in the industry and his knowledge goes well beyond the scope of catering. I think this is what makes him and his team so good at what they do. He took the time to outline an entire day of schedule with us, from when we should start getting ready, to when guests are coming to the venue and getting offered refreshments and even explained the exact order and way his team would enter the room, serve the guests and clean up when guests were ready to party! They are able to take the budget you give them and make a beautiful menu out of it. We actually didn't use up the estimated alcohol budget and so were credited some money back! He also made sure the bridal and groom ATE!! We actually thought the food was better on our wedding day than it was at the tasting (and it was good at that tasting too)! We highly recommend Michael and his team and can't say enough good things about their service.

nd they assign a personal assistant for the day to ensure we get to eat. Michael was our sales person through the entire process, and helped our food vision come to life. The food was decadent, and they happily accommodated a special request for us from a restaurant close to home. This was well so well received by the chef, and was later added to their permanent restaurant menu! We had many choices for the main proteins, and Michael helped us make the best choices based on the environment we wanted to have during the cocktail hour and reception. He was honest on what made the most sense for our budget, and I value that very much in a vendor. Michael deserves a special shout out to helping ensuring the flow of our day was perfect. He helped get us to our spots on time, made sure the food came when it needed to, and we ate when we could. Everyone loved the food!

to the end of the night. She was more than on top of it, and there at every turn. I felt like I could let go knowing she was there. And the food was INCREDIBLE! Delicious, high quality, and really special. The servers were also so friendly and warm, and excited to be at our wedding. It couldn't have been better. We felt so lucky.

free for me and perfect. Not only that, but she did it with my husband and I living on the other side of the country. She is a phenom. The food was fantastic. Not only did Coastal Gourmet put up a delicious rehearsal dinner for us with great options for our vegetarian and omnivorous guests alike, the chefs also created an entire vegan "global cuisines" buffet for our special day. They are not a vegetarian catering company, of course, but the chef outdid himself creating a custom menu for us. Every guest (including the most committed carnivores) said the food was outstanding. The chef even hand-made some 300 pierogies, which earned an enthusiastic seal of approval from all of my Polish relatives. We loved everything the chef prepared, from the appetizers to the stir fry, and it was all such a huge hit with our guests. Furthermore, the wait staff and bartenders, as well as my personal attendant, were a dream and made the wedding itself run so smoothly. Everyone was incredibly professional, efficient, and kind. Oh, and the wedding took place during a surprise blizzard...and even so, thanks to Coastal Gourmet, everything went off without a hitch. Do yourself a favor and work with Coastal Gourmet. It was the best decision we made; we owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude for making our wedding a magical (and delicious!) experience.

Coastal Gourmet was able to set everything up for the wedding on a very tight timeline, and they still managed to perfectly transform the vineyard into our wedding space! Kimberly even ran up to the bridal suite for me on a last minute errand moments before the ceremony! We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a catering company.

It was raining on the day of our wedding and we were originally going to have our wedding outside. Michael met with us a few days before the wedding, so we had a rain plan set up and ready to go. Him and his staff made the ceremony look just as beautiful indoors, and really helped calm my nerves about the rain. On the day of the wedding, I had a waitress "assigned" to me, so when we were doing pictures she brought out hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Anytime I was on the dance floor and my drink was getting low, she'd show up and ask if I needed another. The food itself was outstanding, and we continue to get compliments on it being the best wedding food and cake people have ever had. As you can see, there's no question that I recommend Michael and Coastal Gourmet to work your event. They made it easy to plan, beautiful, and delicious!

He also oversaw our reception to make sure everything was going smoothly and was very responsive about any questions I had that day. Erica from Mystic Market (who works with Coastal Gourmet) made our cake and it was everything we wanted and more. It was simply beautiful and looked like something out of a bridal magazine. She also made my husband a groom’s cake which he cannot stop talking about! We showed her what we wanted and she made it even better. We can’t thank her enough. Thanks to everyone at Coastal Gourmet who made our wedding amazing!

wedding. We served a steak and stuffed sole both with garlic vegetables and garlic mashed potatos. Both meals were raved about by many. Extras were prepared in the back for emergencies.

budget. The day of there were some big issues, ran out of some food, table clothes were the wrong color, and when one particular food ran out they blamed it on the kids taking too many from the table, but we only had two kids at the wedding. Later on when talking to the original coordinator who could not be there the day of event she was very apologetic and made it up to us and made us happy. She accepted responsibility for them falling short and that was great. I think things may not have run as smoothly for us becuase we were a cheap wedding in their terms as they usually cost more of 100 per head. I have heard from others who used them that they are amazing. Atleast know if they make a mistake, they will do their best to fix it!
