They are absolutely amazing! They were so understanding and helpful when it took me three appointments to finally decide on my dress. I tried on the dress in pink and couldn't decide and wasn't comfortable ordering it in white without seeing it. So they had the white one brought in from another store. I had almost no support from the people I brought with me. The staff knew how disappointed and upset I was. They were my support through the very emotional time. They really helped me finally say yes to the dress.

In our busy lives, it has taken me awhile to find the time to write this review. My daughter was engaged in June and decided to take a last minute appointment on July 4th holiday weekend. We left Oak Island headed to Shallotte, I must admit really wasn’t excited to spent my day of relaxation, looking through racks of wedding dresses. I had no idea, what our experience would be like. We walked into Coastal Knot boutique and met this wonderful Southern lady full of joy. Leslie, let us know, we were her only appointment and had nothing but time to devoted time my daughter. She asked my daughter her ideas and what she had in mind. She was fun, attentive and genuinely caring. She said we might not find your dress today, but we want you to have a good experience with us. My daughter did find her dream dress and and it has been delivered. The entire experience was delightful! Thank you Leslie and Coastal Knot Boutique is Shallotte!!!

I am not a very decisive person and picking a wedding dress was no easy task. I must have tried on 100 dresses. Coastal Knot of Wilmington was amazing! They were so supportive and allowed me to return to the store to try more dresses on...on several different occasions. I even said "yes" to one dress only to change my mind that night. The team at Coastal Knot was so encouraging and patient as I restarted my wedding dress journey. They made sure to make me feel at ease and confident in my decision. Once I REALLY found the one, it was magical. The team helped make sure it was altered to my liking and cleaned for the big day! I felt like a fairy princess!

Coastal Knot Bridal Boutique in Shallotte offers an amazing dress shopping experience. They have a great selection of dresses, without being too overwhelming, and the customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend this boutique to other brides.

Love love love this boutique! They are by appointment only, although while I was there a customer walked in and was able to be accommodated after my fitting was over, despite not having had called ahead. Leslie was amazing! She had gown ideas picked out for me before I even walked through the door. She was very personable and professional. She is very fluent in her knowledge about wedding dresses, accessories, and the process of alterations. She guides us towards the perfect wedding dress and even gave us some money saving tips. The gown choices are all gorgeous! They have a gown for every unique bride. My two favorite designers there are Allure and Essence of Australia. The bride before me found her dress and I found mine as well! Highly recommend!

While I didn’t end up getting my dress from here, my Coastal Knot appointment was one of the best experiences I could’ve had for my first bridal salon visit. The team was unbelievable! They were patient as I tried on a multitude of dresses and my future MIL cried happy tears with each one. The team was so helpful, understand and honestly an AMAZING experience for any bride to have - especially their first time shopping. I can’t say enough nice things about Janey and Coastal Knot!

They made the dress shopping experience wonderful. I had a $2000 dress budget and they were great about pulling dresses in my budget and style. I ended up actually buying a sample dress from their Shallote store and even after that the Raleigh store (where I live) helped me store my dress and even offered to press my dress and veil for my wedding day. Even though I didn’t spend tons of money they still made me feel special and really made the experience wonderful and made sure my dress looked great! I 100% recommend them for your dress boutique no matter your budget.

When I first arrived to Coastal Knot, I had probably tried on 30+ dresses or at least it felt like it. I tried other places in town and also in my hometown and online, but I just couldn't find the right look. I was really starting to worry that I'd never find the right dress in time! I told the staff what I was looking for and what I didn't want also, and they immediately found at least five great options - like collectively those five looked way better than say the top five at all other stores combined. I ended up going with one of the first dresses that was suggested! They just really paid attention to what I wanted and I found that throughout the wedding planning process that the best vendors are this way! ;) They were super easy to work with and I didn't have to worry at all as I waited for my dress or when I had the in house alterations. The dress was perfectly altered to fit me, and I was even able to hide my comfy blue sneakers. They also have a great selection of earrings and I ended up trying like 20 looks and picked the perfect pair there. They also have a cleaning service so I'm using that to clean up from my rainy, muddy day. Stop trying on dresses at other shops and looking online. This is your dress shop!!

So happy with my whole experience at Coastal Knot! The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Casey made my decision super easy and fun! They were always very prompt in answering emails and my dress arrived 2 months early! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I went to multiple bridal boutiques in Wilmington and nothing compares to Coastal Knot! There team is so professional and knowledgeable, any question or concern was immediately answered and put an ease to the whole process! There selection for bridal and bridesmaids by far beats everyone of there competitors out! The buying and alterations process was all so easy, and they made sure I had enough time to complete and satisfied all my needs! There bridal jewelry selection is amazing and such a great price as well as there fun day to day jewelry! Every time I go in they knew me by name and were so excited to see me in my dress, I never wanted to leave after my appointments cause they always made me feel so special! Thank you guys so much for killing the bridal game, you guys are all so amazing!

Coastal knot is amazing!!! After going in a million bridal shops in Charlotte and Wilmington, I finally found my dress at coastal knot. They were amazing during the process and helped me find the perfect dress. My alterations were perfect and they were very easy to work with and schedule appointments throughout the process. They have the most beautiful dresses to choose from at an affordable price. I definitely recommend looking here for your wedding dress!

My dresses came in a different color than what I tried on. They also came in 2 weeks later than intitally told. Instead of trying to fix it the store told me it was the same and it had to be the lighting. They seemed very annoyed and almost defensive via email. Well turns out a purple tint isn’t the same as tan and no matter what they said I knew it was not correct. It was only a few weeks now to my wedding and I ended up making changes to the groomsmen suits since Men’s Warehouse let me change the order 17 days out. Avoid ordering dresses from this store.

Found my dream dress here. The consultants are very friendly and the boutique provides the perfect ambiance for the experience.

I cannot say enough nice things about this shop. This was the first place I went to when looking for my wedding dress. The appointment was easy to book and the store is fantastic. I thought the dressing rooms had plenty of space and I liked that each mirror and pedestal outside the dressing rooms was sectioned off for a little privacy. The best part about the experience was my bridal consultant, Kirsten. She was amazing despite me not having much of a preference when it came to what type of dresses to try on. She let me browse the racks on my own for a bit while she went to find a few dresses she thought I would like. I never felt like she was just saying nice things or continuously agreeing with me about each dress in order to get me to buy something. She gave honest opinions and seemed genuinely invested in helping me find a dress I would love. My mom got a picture of me in the dress I plan on buying with her in the background and I can only hope my future husband looks that happy when he sees my in that dress. I would highly recommend this shop and Kirsten to anyone looking for wedding dresses in the Wilmington area, especially if this is your first time trying them on.

The owner of the salon is a wonderful woman. She met me at the salon on Mondays (when they are closed) to find and try on my dress because that is my day off). My dress was beautiful and I absolutely love it. It was a dream come true.

Coastal Knot of Wilmington was great to work with. Their gowns were beautiful and I had no trouble deciding on one for my wedding. The alterations were done in store and they turned out perfect. They corrdinated bringing my dress to Raleigh for pick up where I live. Would highly recommend coastal knot.

Coastal Knot has the most friendly and professional staff- the customer service was second to none. We came back a few hours after my appointment to try a few of the dresses on again and they squeezed us right in a gave us attention just as they had during he appointment. Even going back for my fittings they were always helpful and complimentary. I cannot day enough good things, plus they have so many options!

Outstanding experience! Leslie & Iris were SUPER helpful and attentive, offering honest feedback without being pushy. They had a wide variety, despite being a small shop, and I easily found the dress of my dreams. I'd recommend this shop to anyone and everyone.

Staff are amazing and very friendly! They carry Hayley Paige gowns and I was able to get my dream dress, I can't recommend this salon enough!

I had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience with Coastal Knot Bridal at their store in Wilmington, NC. I walked in and within ten minutes of talking to the amazing ladies about what i was looking for, the first dress they pulled out was "the one". I put it on and immediately started crying. They made myself and my mother feel so at home, and so cared for, and that made the experience of choosing the most important piece of clothing in my life so perfect and memorable. Every person working in that store was so kind and supportive, and i never once felt pressured into anything; they truly wanted what was perfect for each bride as an individual. I will cherish my experience forever, and have told multiple friends since who are now going through their own planning to go to Coastal Knot. Thank you ladies so much & best of luck in 2018!

After going to 6 different Bridal shops I wouldn’t have bought a dress from anywhere else but costal Knot! My only mistake was not going there first! They were so amazing! I would recommend them to anyone!!

5 stars is not enough for Coastal Knot - Wilmington!! I went to six other salons (most in the DC area) before going to CK, and it was a world of difference! All the CK ladies are the best of the best!! I was never rushed and felt like the CK girls customer service was incomparable. My dress came in from the designer and was too big but they let me buy the sample at a discount and threw in a belt! Alterations was quick and awesome as well! I cannot recommend this bridal salon enough for their selection of dresses or their customer service!! Thank you CKW!

Love, love, love this shop and all of the workers! They are positive, laugh along with you and build up your confidence. Kathy helped me and she was wonderful. They have a wide variety of classic dresses and unique dresses. I made a second appointment to decide on my gown, they had the dresses ready and provided champagne. I felt like my friends and I took over the store and they didn't have any problems with this. Shoutout to Kathy and her team!!!!

I am thrilled that I got my wedding dress from Coastal Knot! The selection was amazing, although I only tried on two dresses since I fell in love with my dress so quickly! The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful!

Throughout the entire process of trying dresses on, finding my dress and alterations, Amanda and her team at Coastal Knot Wilmington were incredible. They could not have been more friendly and accommodating during each appointment and never failed to put a smile on my face. I truly do not think I could have had a more wonderful experience of finding and buying my wedding dress. Coastal Knot is SUCH a beautiful bridal boutique with an amazing selection of gowns (and with very reasonable prices!). I cannot wait to wear my dress when I marry my hubby-to-be in a few weeks :)

I popped in here one day just to take a look right after I got engaged. I tried on about seven dresses that day and different styles. When I got to the last two I was swooning. I was alone the day I stopped in and left and texted pictures to my parents and they were like that is it! I said yes I really like that one and they said go back and get fitted and order it. I feel like once you know what's the point in looking more then it will just overwhelm you. Maggie was there that day and so incredibly sweet and helpful. I loved the selection and the prices here. The staff is super friendly and my gown was everything I wanted. Feminine and sexy! I bought my wedding dress by Allure at the Coastal Knot. I had such wonderful one on one service with the staff. It is a small store but has a good selection of beautiful gowns with great prices. I would definitely recommend the Coastal Knot.

Shopping at Coastal Knot (in Wilmington) was a great experience! It was my first time dress shopping, and I had been looking forward to trying on wedding dresses for as long as I can remember so it was a little overwhelming at first. Amanda was fantastic - she gave great feedback on the dresses when I had them on, and she never made me feel rushed in any way. She clearly understood what I was looking for and actually was the one who pulled the dress I eventually bought that day! I wasn't too excited about the dress on the hanger, but I will be forever grateful that she pulled it because I loved it once it was on. It also was well within my budget. She was very attentive and patient, and let me and my family have a good time. I can't wait to get my dress!

I can't even remember how I found out about Coastal Knot but I'm so happy I did! Stacey was so helpful making an appointment for me, they had the exact time and date that I wanted. We were greeted by the nicest lady ever, Sue, when we walked in. We had the boutique to our self the entire time which was awesome! Sue helped direct me to gowns that looked like the pictures I brought. They have a fabulous selection. After trying on about ten gowns I said yes to the third one I tried on! Oh, and this was my first time trying on dresses! We even figured out a way to customize the dress a little to make it that much more perfect. I will recommend Coastal Knot to every bride I know! Now I can't wait for it to come in!

Coastal Knot is by far the BEST bridal boutique in the area. Before I found my wedding dress, I looked at every bridal boutique from Wilmington to Myrtle Beach trying on gown after gown and couldn't quite find the dress of my dreams. Within minutes of being in Coastal Knot, with Maggie's help, I found "THE ONE". It just so happened to be in my budget too--lucky me! I highly recommend this boutique to every bride looking for a unique gown. These ladies will treat you like a queen!

After being overwhelmed by people and tons of dresses at one of those mega bridal shops, walking into Coastal Knot Bridal Boutique was a breath of fresh air. Amanda the owner was so helpful and patient when helping me try on dresses. I didn't feel rushed and I was the center of attention. I had the shop all to myself!! I found my dress there and bought it that same day. If you want a unique gown, go here! They have anything and everything there to try on and it is all great stuff! They even have bridesmaids dresses, shoes, veils etc. highly recommend this place!

Amanda and her mother at Coastal Knot are amazing! They made the decisions so easy and really went above and beyond. I purshased by dress and the bridesmaids dresses from them as well as had the junior bridesmaid dress made there. I was from out of town and when I randomly stopped in without notice they were so accomodating even thoguh it likeley messed up their schedules. I even found a reception dress online and with Amanda's help she was able to find it in my size and ship it to me just to make sure it fit. Friday before the wedding Amanda even came over to my parents house where I was staying to steam both of my dresses and all of the bridesmaids dresses. When I first tried on the dress I ended up ordering there were a few things I didnt love about it, Amanda was there with suggestions and it turned out beautiful. I was also having trouble finding a junior bridesmaids dress to match the bridesmaids so Amanda ordered the same fabric from the company and had the dress made to my specifications at their shop. On top of all of this she mailed every bridesmaids dress out to them (they were from all over the country)so they could get them fitted in time for the wedding. If i could do it all over again I would use Coastal Knot in a heartbeat! They are wonderful!

I was recently Maid of Honor in my best friend's wedding. She ordered her dress, her veil, and the bridesmaid dresses from Coastal Knot. As MOH, I had the assignment of trying on sample dresses at the shop so the bride could choose a style and color. I think I tried on every dress in the store...some multiple times! Through it all Amanda was so helpful and pleasant to work with, she really made the whole process a breeze. The dresses came in as promised, and alterations were completed perfectly. I actually took a dress for another wedding I was in to Amanda and she sent it out for alterations for me as well, as I was in a time crunch. It returned quickly and fit just right. I can't say enough about Coastal Knot, thanks to Amanda we all looked great on the big day!

From beginning to end, Amanda was magnificent! After trying several dresses, I put on the dress that I fell in love with. She was so attentive and sweet. Laura did my alterations she was amazing. She did my daughters dress from my train that I wanted cut off, it turned out beautiful and my dress ended up fitting me like a glove! Amazing service and great selection. When I came to Coastal Knot I had no idea that I would find the dress that I had been dreaming about. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses after getting engaged, and I am normally a very indecisive person. From the very beginning Amanda made the whole experience very easy and relaxed and I felt comfortable sharing what I really thought of each dress. After trying on six dresses I tried on the last one and I didn't want to take it off! It had every element that I wanted on a dress without me realizing it by looking at it on the hanger (it was actually Amanda's pick!) Everyone loved it from that day through the wedding day and talked about how perfect it was for me. I also picked out a veil, shoes, and bridesmaids dresses that day. My bridesmaids ordered their dresses over the phone without seeing the dress, and Amanda was very helpful with sizes. When the dresses came they loved their dresses so much that they didn't want to take them off and kept trying them on before the wedding. After hearing horror stories from other brides about dress shopping nightmares I was a little apprehensive to begin the search for my own gown. My worries quickly evaporated at Coastal Knot. Amanda was knowledgeable, patient, and very flexible through the process of choosing and ordering my wedding gown. She later ordered my bridesmaid dresses and veil too. All of these transactions were smooth and hassle free. When waiting on my dress (and the BM dresses) she was great about staying in touch and keeping me updated on delivery dates and times. Since I have out of town bridesmaids in the wedding party she was even willing to make special appointments to accomodate fittings. After dealing with numerous vendors that seemed to make me feel like they're doing ME a favor, it was so refreshing to meet someone in the industry so attentive and flexible. I also used Laura for my alterations, and they were completed very quickly and perfectly to my requests. We've had a wonderful experience right from the start at Coastal Knot, and plan to rent tuxedos from Amanda as well. I can hardly wait to see the entire wedding party looking their finest on my big day!
