We booked the Coastal Queen for a private cruise with about 75 guests the day after our wedding, and we can't say enough good things about the entire experience! Sandy was a pleasure to work with- she was incredibly friendly, responsive, helpful, and professional. She worked with us to perfectly execute our vision for the event, including a champangne toast, just the right amount of narration, and the music we played. The boat itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and people of all ages and abilities boarded and moved about the boat seamlessly. The entire crew was friendly, welcoming, and very professional. It was the perfect was to end our wedding weekend, and we highly recommend booking your next event on the Coastal Queen!

We booked a private sunset boat cruise to wrap up our wedding weekend, and it was an absolute blast! We went back and forth on if we wanted to have another event, and we are so happy we decided to do it. We ended up having about 65 guests total and they enjoyed the bar and views of Newport. The crew on the Coastal Queen was amazing, the cruise was a blast, and everyone had a great time. Sandy was a pleasure to work with.

Coastal Queen and Jamestown Newport Ferry, both operated by parent company Conanicut Marine Services Inc. and based in Jamestown and Newport, R.I., specialize in event cruises and private charters in the Newport Harbor and lower Narragansett Bay area. Their boats can accommodate 34 to 140 passengers. In addition, they have a range of smaller boats that can comfortably shuttle guests from port to port if only transportation is needed. 140-passenger Coastal Queen has ample space—an enclosed main deck that features a beautiful teak wood bar, and a covered top deck with roll-down side curtains—so guests can cruise in comfort. The cruises take guests out and around the historic landmarks and lighthouses surrounding Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay for spectacular sightseeing. These boat rides are perfect for showers and brunches, as well as wedding rehearsals, ceremonies, receptions and related events. The charter team will work with your caterer, music supplier, florist, etc. to bring the event you envision together.
