Coats Classic Cars provides Chauffeured Vintage and Classic Cars for Weddings, Events, Photo Shoots, Displays, and TV & Film in the Southeast and Midwest. We have collections in Alabama, Mississippi, the Carolinas, and Kansas City -- and each collection has the ability to travel to neighboring states. Our fleet includes over 30 classic cars, including Rolls-Royce and Bentley, Jaguar, Classic Convertibles, Vintage Trucks, ‘New York’ Taxis, and more.
A Coats Classic Car is more than just transportation -- it's a timeless canvas for your photographer which will always be in style. It’s a fun part of your reception décor, for your guests to admire and enjoy – and it’s the last memory you'll leave them with, as you depart at the end of the evening. Relax and enjoy your favorite car for up to 8 hours onsite, and up to 3 complimentary local rides. We prefer to only accept one wedding per car, per day -- yours!
We invite you to step back into a time when Arriving meant being driven by your own professional, polite chauffeur -- smartly attired in a classic black tuxedo, chauffeur's cap, and driving gloves. We pride ourselves on studying the bygone methods of chauffeur etiquette, to provide a classy, authentic experience -- and our cars show that same attention to detail. Since we're full-time professionals, backed by our own in-house restoration shop, we have the time and resources to invest in making sure everything is just right. Unlike a part-time hobbyist or "weekend business", all of our vehicles are properly inspected, licensed, and commercially-insured for your protection and safety.

The entire team at Coats Classic Cars was amazing!! I wanted to surprise my husband with a classic car on our wedding day. I reached out to Coats Classic Cars, and received great communication that helped me make a decision. They coordinated well with me to make everything work with our timeline. Our driver was amazing!! He was very professional and made great conversation with all of our guests on the wedding night. We received a smooth and enjoyable ride with a perfect end to our wedding night!
Coats Classic Cars was a very professional company with very effective communication from the start. They sent a me good variety of beautiful and unique cars to choose from with great pictures and great descriptions. The chosen car is available for several hours to sit out in front of your venue for photo ops which made for gorgeous photos at my daughter’s wedding. The driver was very professional in taking our bride and groom to their destination. I would highly recommend Coats Classic Cars for riding in style to and from any event. Or to make elegant photo ops.
We loved using coats cars as our getaway car at the end of the night. Our chauffeur was very nice and great to have on our big day. It also made such a fun exit and many guests took photos with the car all night. We would absolutely recommend!

We used them for our getaway car and it was amazing!!! I rented my husband’s dream car and even the guests LOVED it. So many went out to look at it and the driver was so kind!! Could not recommend enough.
Coats provided the perfect luxury vintage rental for our wedding in Asheville! My husband is a total car guy, so Maggie was one of the highlights of our day, from taking epic photos with her to cruising our way to the Grove Park Inn at the end of the night. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out, and we'll definitely be recommending Coats to all our friends looking for a special ride for a special event!
Our getaway vehicle was the perfect classic getaway car! It was timeless and well kept up as well. Our driver was super friendly and punctual, and helped us get safely from the reception to our hotel downtown with ease. He even helped us with our luggage. Would definitely recommend working with them!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Coat’s Classic Cars. We chose the “Catherine” for our wedding day & she was definitely the cherry on top of a perfect day. She is stunning. The booking process was very simple, our driver was amazing & was so courteous. Everyone LOVED being able to look at the car leaving the ceremony & going into the reception. & she made our exit phenomenal!!! What a way to end the night & what a fabulous experience with Coat’s Classic Cars. We will definitely be coming up with another reason to use them in the future. If you are on the fence about booking…. Don’t be & just do it!! You will not regret it! We are so pleased!!!
We worked with Kirsten and she was fantastic. Once we chose the car, she coordinated everything with our wedding planner giving us one less thing to worry about. The driver was courteous and punctual.

We booked 'Jack' for our wedding day and it was such a great decision! We chose to have the car on site for 6 hours which allowed our driver to chauffeur our dads from their hotels to the venue, which they loved! We also got to take photos with the car before the ceremony which was a lot of fun. It was the perfect getaway car for our big sparkler exit and we can't wait to see the photos! Thanks again.

Elizabeth, 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, was so beautiful! James was so polite, helpful, and entertaining. While our wedding was during the pandemic, he also took that into consideration and wore a mask the entire time. He drove us all over the Biltmore Estate to take photos before and after the wedding. We really enjoyed ourselves! We decided the day of the wedding that we would like to extend our time for an hour and without hesitation, they made it happen! It was a beautiful touch for a send off!
We had an amazing experience with Coats Classic Cars! The pandemic added challenges including changing location, time of the ceremony, adding a first look location, etc. Coats Classic Cars was incredibly accommodating and understanding of our circumstances. I have always wanted a classic truck to be my getaway car for my wedding! This company made it happen! They drove their classic truck "Oliver" all the way from Birmingham Alabama to Johns creek Georgia for my big day!!!! the truck was beautiful and the driver Chris was awesome to talk to and was a great driver! So pleased with Coats Classic Cars and I would use them again and I highly recommend them!
We chose Catherine and oh my gosh, it was so beautiful! It was definitely a talking point and VERY popular with pictures as our guests walked past the car on the way in. After the wedding, the driver brought my husband and I home very safely and made sure we were comfortable. They are so friendly and added zero-stress to planning!! I 100% recommend booking with them. We chose to have Maggie, the white rolls Royce, as our getaway vehicle and WOW its was beautiful! James, one of the partners of the company, was our driver. He arrived right on time with the car (hours before our getaway) which allowed for amazing pictures and had the car warmed up and ready for us to leave at the end of the night. He was very pleasant and quite knowledgeable about the cars. I would 100% recommend them to anyone!
The staff at Coat's Classic Cars is so nice and friendly ... we had a last minute hiccup occur that caused us to have to change reception venues, and before I had even reached out to Coat's, they reached out to me asking if there was anything they could do to help! They were so accommodating when we had to make a change, and everything went perfect the night of the wedding. The car was the perfect touch to a wonderful evening! We rented "Caroline" - the white Jaguar, for our get-away car, and it was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. The car was BEAUTIFUL and the driver was great too! He took us for a drive around downtown Birmingham before dropping us off at our hotel. Would definitely recommend!

I loved having "Jack" for my wedding. He is a handsome car with all original miles and in very great condition and very clean. Coats Classic Cars is very easy to work with. When my photographer asked me about going around downtown to take some nighttime romance shots they were very happy to work with us so we could do that. James, our driver, was so nice and wanted to make sure our ride was enjoyable. He didn't just hop on the interstate, he went through some back roads so we could get a full ride out of the car. I highly recommend using Coats Classic Cars and I hope I get to use them in the future.
The owner James is a blast to work with, he let us come out to his garage and sit and even ride around in the cars we were debating between. It was the perfect exit for our wedding and Ken our driver was sweet enough to take us the long way through Birmingham so we could drag out our special night that much more. We did two trips from the ceremony to the reception and then leaving for the night. Highly recommend!!!
