Our summer wedding was a hit with the flavors and table setting that cocina fusion provided.
We found cocina fusion to be the best fit for our special day among many catering services that we inquired. CF turned out to be very responsive since the first day of contact. Cindy was our point of contact and she went above and beyond to help us. We found Cocina Fusion within 3 months before our wedding and Cindy was able to accommodate us for a tasting very promptly as we live out of state and time was ticking.
We knew since the tasting experience that we wanted CF to be part of our day. I highly recommend not to skip the tasting! The food was beyond delicious and we loved the fact that they presented the food as they would in our wedding. Cindy kindly reviewed our choices with us and went over all the questions we had. We found very convenient that they present a table setting as they would in an event and they had many choices of plates, chargers, napkins, runners, goblets, silverware and more for us to choose.
I highly recommend CF if you are looking to impress your guests with food and service. The staff was very professional and attentive. The table settings were elegant and just as we pictured them. And the food was a hit! Our guests were very impressed with the presentation of the taco bar and until now they still remembering how delicious and flavorful the food was. We had the opportunity to have their gelato as our welcome dessert for our cocktail hour and the limoncello and passion fruit flavors were perfect for the summer time! We also enjoyed their coffee and tea table. Their churro cart was a perfect fresh-made treat to our guests! We also went with CF for a full bar service and they delivered a phenomenal experience with a good variety of alcohol selection. Bar tenders kept the drinks coming out to all of us and they were well made!
We were extremely happy to see the final result in our wedding day and loved to see and heard all the great compliments that CF brought to our special day! We are so thankful to Cindy and CF staff that made our day so memorable! Definitely a professional and passionate catering company that delivers exceptional results and a must have in events!

Upon moving to Chicago and meeting Anaxi ,my husband and also head chef of Cocina Fusion, we opened the doors of Cocina Fusion and started with this amazing business adventure. Our business has grown at great rates as well as our family :) we have 2 girls and 1 boy! We enjoy traveling and eating authentic street foods!

uld be! My bridesmaid said it was the best meal she's ever eaten at a wedding. We had 330 guests and every single plate was delicious. I was worried about everyone being served quickly with such a large number of guests, and Cocina nailed it! I have no idea how they served that many people at once, it was like magic.
Every part of our interaction with Cocina was amazing. The tasting was so cute and personalized, they took our feedback so well and made great suggestions. I CANNOT explain how amazing Juliana is, she's a queen. Cindy is also the best. They are so knowledgeable and it was so easy to trust them to execute an amazing day, and they did! Literally everything was perfect. The service was incredible. I'm still dreaming about the chicken taquito app. I didn't have to worry about a single thing.
I cannot recommend Cocina enough.

We chose the dual plated option, and wow—our guests were blown away, and so were we! Every plate looked absolutely divine. The attention to detail and precision were remarkable. We couldn't have asked for a better team to be part of our wedding day.
I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Cindy, who was our lead throughout this entire process. She truly helped guide the whole night, managed everything seamlessly, and was attentive to every detail. We had so many challenges with our venue, but Cindy reassured us every step of the way that everything would run smoothly—and she was absolutely right. She always found a way to say "yes" to my ideas and never made us feel like we were asking for too much. We are so incredibly grateful for her and the entire Cocina Fusion team.

e met Juliana we clicked and felt so comfortable with her. She’s an absolute pro and it shows in the way that she runs her company. We were never confused or left without communication from Cocina Fusion. Everyone has been raving to us about their service at our wedding as well as the food. Shout out to their awesome bartenders who took such good care of us & our guests!
The mushroom risotto bites, empanadas, chipotle meatballs, and steak brioche bites were standout hits in the passed hors d’oeuvres. We did chimichurri steak or pollo à la crema (chicken with white cream sauce) for our entrée selections with a vegetarian option of the stuffed poblano. We were blown away by the flavor of the food and pretty much knew from the tasting that we were going to pick them. We also chose to do a BYOB bar with their mixer package. Highly recommend doing that with Prestige Liquors. Cocina Fusion also did two signature drinks for us for the reception, an old-fashioned and an espresso martini, which everyone loved.
They are one of the most reasonably priced catering companies for the incredible service and quality that you’re going to get in the city of Chicago. They have everything you need (linens, glassware, flatware) and set your tables beautifully. If we ever have a need to cater another event, we will absolutely use Cocina Fusion!

ing. They were the very first tasting we went to and holy moly — they completely blew us away. The food, the decor, the presentation — I fell in love with everything! That is when girl math kicked in and the vision came to life! The green water goblets? Absolute must have. The gold chargers? Non-negotiable. Late night snack? Well obviously, because we are not monsters! But the churro cart — I had no idea I needed one until we tasted the churros from Cocina Fusion. So incredibly delicious. On the day of, our guests could not stop raving about the food and decor, and honestly that is the greatest feeling in the world as a bride! If I had to, I would choose them all over again in a heartbeat. We are so grateful for Cindy and the entire team, who were so supportive every step of the way. Where Juliana and her team go above and beyond is the service, she is consistently the most responsive vendor whether for short or in-depth questions. Along with great food, Cindy and her team were so helpful with the entire event. They were really a one stop shop for linens, extra tables, chairs, serving trays etc. With all the concerns about being nickel and dimed during wedding planning, Cocina Fusion was the opposite! They took care of the details and were very accommodating of our various changes throughout the process. They were high quality, thorough, and well priced.

When we had our tasting, we were absolutely blown away by the Latin fusion dishes. The flavors were incredible and unlike anything we'd experienced at other weddings. We worked with Cindy throughout the entire planning process, and she was truly a gem. On the day of our wedding, John took over and his team was phenomenal. They were so attentive, constantly making sure we had drinks and food throughout the entire event. We never had to worry about a thing!
All our guests would not stop raving about the food during cocktail hour and the churro cart as our dessert option! The food quality and presentation were outstanding from start to finish.

reception that happened this summer and we have no notes. Juliana was not only super responsive to all our questions and needs, but she is genuinely kind and a wonderful person to work with, especially when you might be stressed out planning a wedding!
Cocina’s food is ‘off the charts’ good. We opted to go with the Latin & American Fusion menu and did ‘family style’ at the tables consisting of 3 entrees to choose from: Chimichurri steak, Salmon pico de Gallo, and the stuffed Spinach chicken. My only regret was not having a larger stomach to enjoy more of it all. But the real sleeper on the menu which our guests were raving about were the Poblano risotto cakes – highly recommend as a side!
If you are considering Cocina Fusion for your event, just know that you will be in great hands with Juliana and her excellent team. They are so clearly seasoned professionals, and I am confident that you and your guests will also be raving about their food and service for your big event.

I could rave about how good the food was, and how every guest seemed to have a different favorite appetizer, or how our moms took leftovers home from the tasting to our dads insisting they had to try the food that night... but I'd fall short in raving just about the food. Juliana was absolutely incredible to work with throughout the entire process. We chose the taco station for our wedding dinner and wow, it was a huge hit. We received compliment after compliment from our guests, and many said it was some of the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We couldn’t agree more. Every bite was packed with flavor and beautifully presented.
The coffee station was another guest favorite, offering the perfect pick me up during the wedding evening, and the bartenders were top notch, keeping drinks flowing and energy high all night long.

ious...it is as far from your average dry wedding chicken as you can get. We had a really hard time choosing our apps and entrees at the tasting because truly everything we tasted was spectacular. Ultimately we ended up going with the chimichurri steak and poblano chicken. We received glowing reviews from multiple guests about how our food was the best food they've ever had at a wedding.
Additionally, CF's level of professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail was unmatched by any other vendor. I would recommend them 100x over to any Chicagoland couple looking for a caterer, they really were the best!

the amazing reviews, we knew Juliana and team were the perfect caterer for our day! Every single selection we tried at our tasting was AMAZING, we had such a hard time narrowing down. At our tasting, Juliana made us feel so special, and we talked about the tasting for weeks. Juliana was so responsive to our questions and made the planning process go so smoothly. During cocktail hour, the first thing all of our guests said to us were how amazing the passed hors d'oeuvres were (meatballs with chipotle sauce were the winner from the guests!). Juliana also recommended the duo since we were doing a plated dinner, and we are SO happy we went with her recommendation, each guest got to have steak and chicken!!!! The team working our wedding were all very professional and kind! Juliana made sure our drinks were filled, and we ate enough :) BOOK COCINA FUSION!!!

Delicious eats were perfectly on schedule that we didn't have to worry about a thing on our big day. The catering staff were also kind, considerate, and incredibly professional. iana was so great with communicating with us. She was always available to answer our questions and responded so quickly which always gave my wife and I peace of mind! Whenever there was a guest count change or anything that came up through the process, Juliana was always so accommodating and took care of everything. Juliana was there during our final walk through and was there the night of the wedding to ensure everything ran smoothly which meant the world to us. She truly felt like family afterwards ! Communication was prompt when needed and the vision for our event was clear it certainly added peace of mind to have a caterer that was very familiar with our venue and most of the other vendors as well. For the event we selected the mini crab cakes, beef empanadas, bruschetta and the big hit for our guests which was the chicken and waffle. The pear dinner salad was a perfect choice with our dual plate dinner which was the Chimichurri Steak and the Chicken Marsala. The risotto was perfect and is a must have for a side option. Perhaps the best aspect of Cocina Fusion was the affordable option to add on the late night tacos and churro cart. These were some of the best authentic tasting tacos and churros we have had and helped keep the night alive up until the very end. If you are getting married in the Chicagoland area Cocina Fusion should be at the very top of the list of options to consider.

he best tasting out of all the caterers we tried, but their prices were also incredibly reasonable. Their chimichurri steak was an absolute standout - it was the best I've ever had. But it wasn't just the main course that impressed us. The appetizers and cocktails were equally delicious and beautifully presented.
But what truly sets Cocina Fusion apart is their exceptional service. They made sure that my partner and I actually got to eat on our wedding day by bringing apps to our suite right after the ceremony. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made us feel taken care of (highly recommend the empanadas for this part!).
The staff at Cocina Fusion were also amazing. They were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our guests were well taken care of. Overall, Cocina Fusion exceeded all of our expectations and played a huge role in making our wedding day perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dream caterer - they truly are the best in Chicago. ve Cocina Fusion 10 stars, I would. I knew we wanted Cocina as our caterer when we had their food at my best friend's wedding 2 years ago. Their food was that amazing that I still remembered everything we ate and my friend was raving about her experience with them.
We worked with Cindy starting from our tasting until the day of our wedding. Cindy was amazing to work with and her team is so on top of everything at all times. After we signed with Cocina Fusion, Cindy made sure to send reminder emails about all of our deadlines but never made us feel pressured. We really appreciated that, especially in the midst of stressful wedding planning.
Cocina Fusion's food is the BEST wedding food I have ever eaten at all weddings I've been to and all of our guests felt the exact sentiment, especially my family! It made us so happy that our guests enjoyed our cocktail hour and reception so much and that is all thanks to our wonderful caterer. And best of all, we had 4 people at our wedding who had their wedding food catered by Cocina so you know that Cocina is a top choice for weddings in Chicago. We are so grateful for the team and we cannot recommend them enough.

Cindy was responsive, organized, collaborative, and helped us a lot with the way our floor plan went. Loved everything about it. Okay now the food- we are now one month in and we still have guests tell us how good the food was for our wedding. Some telling us that it was the best wedding food they ever had, especially the stuffed mushroom chicken! On the day of the wedding, we appreciate how attentive Cindy and team was with the details of everything we talked about during the final walk through.
