We used Cocoa & Fig for our wedding desserts, selecting a variety of mini desserts that guests could select from as the dance floor opened up. The guests LOVED all of the desserts and luckily we had extras that we were able to take home with us after our wedding. The salted caramel macaroons & cheese cake were my personal favorites!

Everyone was talking about our desserts. We did a variety of cupcakes and a two tier wedding cake. Everything looked and tasted amazing. There sample box before booking was an amazing way to taste everything and get a feel for this bakery. I appreciate the willingness to make our vision come to life. COVID is hard and the whole team was willing to accommodate and make changes willingly throughout the process. With COVID and with my husband and I being out of state, there was times when communication was a little challenging. However the team was faithful to their timelines and responsive to our worries. We were so pleased that we choose Cocoa and Fig. It is always fun to hear your guests say, "Loved your desserts...I ate like four cupcakes."

After we received our sample dessert box, our decision to choose Cocoa & Fig was a no brainer. Guests RAVED about our mini dessert bar that we had at our wedding from Cocoa & Fig. My husband and I didn't want to go the traditional wedding cake route, and found Cocoa & Fig provided exactly what we were looking for. From the cake pops, mini cheesecakes (turtle pecan was a hit), flourless chocolate mini cakes, and mini fruit tarts, they were all gone within minutes (thankfully our day of coordinator saved us a few cake pops to take home). Joe was easy to communicate with and provided excellent service. For all of our future parties, we will definitely be using Cocoa & Fig!

We hired Cocoa & Fig to do the cake for our wedding. They delivered the cake at the right time so it wouldn't melt at our outdoor wedding. The cake was delicious and fresh. The attention to detail on the design of the cake was better than we even imagined!

I loved working with Cocoa & Fig! Michael replied quickly and I found them more affordable then other vendors for the quality and variety they offered. I did a 2 tier cake designed like a birch tree which fit our theme as well as mini cupcakes, mini pies, pies on a stick shaped like Minnesota, mini flourless choc cake, and I believe one more item. Phenomenal! My desserts were so good everyone raved about them and literally they were gone before the dancing even started. People LOVED them and still talk about them. I will absolutely get an anniversary cake annually from them and would undoubtedly recommend them to future brides!

We loved working with Cocoa & Fig for our wedding! Michael was so fun to work with. He is so personable and the communication was awesome. The desserts were also AMAZING! Everything was so delicious. We didn't want a wedding cake, and instead had a whole dessert table of small desserts. We also had a macaroon tower, which was beautiful and created an elegant centerpiece for our dessert table. The whole experience with Cocoa & Fig was fantastic, from the tasting, to planning, to day of delivery and eating! We received lots of compliments on our desserts. I was a little worried that some guests might be disappointed we didn't have a cake, but they were not at all. We love macaroons and were so happy we were able to incorporate them into our wedding day!

AMAZING desserts - We had full cheesecakes, smores bites, tiramisu cups and flowerless chocolate cake bites at our wedding. The cheesecake and chocolate bites were to die for!!! If you're looking for something delicious that isn't a traditional wedding cake Cocoa & Fig is a great option!

Cocoa and Fig absolutely NAILED our wedding cake and exceeded all our expectations! At the last minute, our wedding cake vendor dropped out on us and I scrambled to find a replacement. I called countless bakeries and finally found Cocoa, thank God! I worked with one of the owners, Joe, from the beginning and he was super responsive and easy to work with. Being able to pick up a "Tasting Box" of cupcakes to find which flavors we liked best was convenient and fun! Once we decided on the sinfully chocolate cake, Joe took our inspiration picture and made it into a reality. The price was reasonable and the onsite delivery was convenient. Not only was it gorgeous, but also delicious, our guests loved it and we're still savoring some slices at home!! We would HIGHLY recommend using Cocoa and Fig for any of your bakery needs!!! K+B

I can't imagine a better dessert caterer than Cocoa and Fig! I'm a relatively experienced baker and my family are all (self-described) dessert snobs, and we were all so impressed with the quality of the desserts both at our tasting and at my wedding. Guests also raved. They were able to do exactly what we wanted, with a bunch of layer cakes in several flavors as well as lots of different mini tarts. With these different kinds of dessert I wasn't sure how it'd all look together on display, but Cocoa and Fig set it all up and provided the serving stands, and the presentation was perfect and beautiful. Communication with Joe was easy and prompt, and his recommendation for the number of cakes for our guests was also spot-on. I only wish I had more of an appetite on my wedding day to eat more of the desserts! We can't recommend Cocoa and Fig enough.

We used Cocoa and Fig for our take-home gift- golf ball shaped cake pops! These were the biggest hit of our wedding and our guests said that this was the best take-home gift they'd ever had. Everything was so delicious- thank you team!!

I decided to do a dessert bar instead of a traditional cake for our wedding reception. I decided to work with Cocoa and Fig after our dessert tasting with Lauren. She is amazing they even incorporated my own personal vintage china pieces into the tablescape. The desserts were amazing and everyone loved them. Lauren was there for the setup, so everything turned out perfectly! I would highly recommend them for a cake or a dessert bar for your wedding.

We had two cakes (one tiered and one in the kitchen) plus mini chocolate chip cookies- guests loved everything! The cake design was beautiful and just what I wanted- we exchanged pictures over email and they made everything perfect. Cookies at the end of the night were the perfect treat and these are DELICIOUS. We saved the top of the cake and just can't wait to celebrate with it!!

I strongly recommend Cocoa & Fig to anyone having a wedding or event where they need catered desserts! Our entire experience with them was excellent and our Dessert Coordinator Lauren was very friendly and helpful from the initial consultation / tasting through execution on the big day. For the quality of the desserts and service the prices were very competitive. During the tasting, she did a wonderful job asking questions to understand our overall vision and needs and had a lot of books and visual examples of what other people have done. In addition, we got to try a large variety of their desserts which was great because we ultimately decided to do a miniature dessert assortment and small cake for us to cut during the reception. On wedding day, everything was delivered and setup on time and the dessert table looked amazing with all the bright colors, stands and signs. We received nothing but compliments from our guests about how the display looked and ultimately how delicious the desserts were.

I am picky when it comes to cakes and frostings. So after a few cake tastings at other vendors, I was thrilled to taste cocoa and figs cakes and frostings and had a hard time picking flavors because they were all so good! The team is communicative, friendly, and highly qualified (we worked with Lauren - she is the dessert coordinator and she went to the culinary institute of America so she knew her stuff). Everyone at the wedding raved about how excellent the cake and frosting was- even self proclaimed frosting haters. The cake looked gorgeous and tasted amazing. We went with the chocolate salted caramel cake with a chocolate mousse frosting and the strawberry champagne cake to fit our NYE wedding theme. I dream about that cake now- and highly recommend cocoa and fig for your cake!

I consider myself a dessert foodie and was tired OF the same old typical wedding cake, and after much research and food tastings, Cocoa and Fig was the perfect option for me. There is a small tasting fee which gets reimbursed if you contract with them...totally worth it! The dessert bar was incredible! Lauren with Cocoa and Fig was great to work with and she created a custom vision for our wedding. I keep hearing how amazing the dessert bar was and I can say I've never seen anything like it at any wedding I've attending. Lauren even asked for copies of our wedding stationary for inspiration for the dessert cards on the table. It was perfect! I'm so happy I went with Cocoa and Fig for our unforgettable dessert table at our wedding. We even had a super cute custom cutting cake which fit the table perfectly. THANK YOU!

I've known the owners of Cocoa & Fig for years, so I've had the pleasure of tasting many, many of their treats (lucky me!). My husband and I quickly decided on using them for our wedding, and ultimately chose five mini treats for our dessert table. It's two months since our wedding, and family members are *still* talking to us about the Salted Caramel Macarons! Working with Cocoa & Fig was so easy from the beginning. They were always very quick to respond to emails and send all the info we needed, whenever we needed it. We also loved that they let us do the tastings at home--all we had to do was pick up a box of the treats we wanted to sample, and try them on our own time. It was very easy. We opted to have them deliver and set up the treats the day of the wedding, but we used our own signs and display items (it was great to have the ability to do that). The desserts were arranged so perfectly and beautifully, the displayed items were almost too pretty to eat (almost...). As a perfectionist myself, I really, really appreciated the attention to detail on the set-up. I highly recommend Cocoa & Fig to anyone, for any kind of event.

My husband and I hired Cocoa & Fig for our wedding at Camrose Hill Flower Farm this September. We had a variety of mini cupcakes for our guests and they were fantastic. We received many, many compliments and it was a great alternative to a large cake, allowing for a variety of flavors. They accommodated our gluten free guest too and were one of our most accommodating and responsive vendors. The tasting was a wonderful treat in itself! Would recommend them highly and use them again for another event!

We were so happy with Cocoa and Fig! We had 6 mini desserts, and nearly all were eaten. Lauren and her crew were responsive and answered all our questions (and we were planning the wedding from NYC). We had a wonderful tasting. And the wedding day was beautiful! Everyone raved about the desserts. They were unique and the display was beautiful! We also had escort card apples pies on a stick - and they looked amazing! Everyone loved this touch and they were so delicious. One of our guests recently said she's trying to make desserts for her son's reception and she "hopes they look as beautiful as our desserts did." (Too bad she lives out of state, otherwise she could hire Cocoa and Fig too!) We highly recommend them!

Cocoa and Fig was so wonderful to work with on the wedding day! It was such a relief to feel confident that everything on their end would run smoothly. Everything was perfect from how delicious the desserts were, to their gorgeous set up and even the little description cards they made for our mini dessert bar. I couldn't be happier! I cannot rave more about Cocoa & Fig!! Their desserts are not only delicious, but oh so beautiful! Right from the start, Lauren was so easy to work with, responding to emails in a timely manner, meeting with us for a tasting, and answering all of our questions. When I needed to make changes to our dessert menu and add another layer to our cake, it was no problem at all. On the wedding day, they come and decorate your dessert table to match the style and look of your wedding, one less thing for brides to stress about! Our naked cake was gorgeous (and delicious!) and we received compliment after compliment from our guests about the mini desserts, both on the wedding day and the weeks following. I would recommend that you consider getting more desserts than you think you'll need; we had 705 dessert pieces (plus a three-tiered cake) for 235 guests and they were all gone, except for a few that my parents took home for us to enjoy the next morning. The great news is, they have retail shops in Minneapolis and Edina, so even after the wedding you can get your Cocoa & Fig craving satisfied. If you're looking for stunning desserts to wow your guest (and yourself!), I HIGHLY recommend Cocoa & Fig!!

I have always loved Cocoa and Fig sweets so it was a no-brainer that they would make our wedding cake. Our tasting with Lauren was a blast and everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. Cocoa and Fig did our wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion for 250 guests. We had a dessert bar with two flavors of Macaroons, two flavors of Mini Cheesecakes, two flavors Mini Cake Pops, Fruit Tartlets, and our wedding cake was Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. The desserts were TO DIE FOR. Our guests literally went crazy over them. Thank you so much!! We were BEYOND happy with our wedding dessert bar and it was one of my must-haves!!!

Wow! My husband and I booked Cocoa & Fig for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! We worked with Lauren, and to say she was amazing is an understatement. She answered all of my emails in a timely fashion, and offered her advice when I asked for it! She helped create welcome boxes for guests when they arrived at their hotel, and they got rave reviews! The dessert bar at our wedding was gorgeous and SO delicious! The keylime shooters were gone in a matter of minutes. I wanted to have a dessert table for my wedding, I found them online and their selection was just the variety that I was looking for. They asked me questions about my vision for the wedding and specific desserts or flavors I was looking for. I only had one meeting with them, the tasting- everything was wonderful. I emailed my wedding colors and what I wanted for a cake. The day of everything went seamlessly! They came to set up and I didn't have to give them any direction or answer any questions; the table looked beautiful. Guests loved the desserts! The cake and colors were spot on what I envisioned. I would highly recommend!

We didn't want a wedding cake at our wedding, but it was important to my parents that we have one...and after eating our Black Velvet cake from Cocoa and Fig, I'm glad I caved to their demands! Everything about the cake was amazing - from the moist cake to the delicious cream cheese frosting - and made our day a little sweeter! Can't go wrong with a wedding cake from here!

We don't live in Minnesota but were planning our wedding there for September 2014. The groom's aunt (which happened to live in the Minneapolis area) was helping us find a place to use for our wedding cupcakes. She stopped by a few locations and tried some samples and suggested that we go with Cocoa and Fig. We really enjoyed worked with Lauren at Cocoa and Fig. The communication was great and she worked hard to make sure we had a wedding cake and cupcakes the way we wanted them. We were really happy with the design of the cake and the cupcakes with the tower really made a great display at our reception. The flavors were excellent and we received quite a few compliments from our guests. I wish we had a Cocoa & Fig where we live, I'd like to use them for other celebrations too!

Coca and Fig provided us with the best black velvet and cream cheese frosting wedding cake! All of our guests raved about the cake saying this was the first time they truly enjoyed the wedding cake! Not only was the cake delicious, but gorgeous. We did a rustic theme with two tiers of rough edge cream, and one tier of smooth gold. It was perfection!

Cocoa and Fig made the most visually appealing and delish desserts for my wedding. They were almost to pretty to eat (but they taste so good it would be a shame to not eat)

I wanted a naked wedding cake, no outside frosting. Most wedding cake places looked at me like I was crazy and said not possible while Cocoa&Fig said of course we can do that. The hardest choice was picking a flavor because everything tasted so good! I had a picture from the web of exactly what I wanted my cake to look like and day of, when they dropped of the cake to decorate it on site, they not only had my image but it was blown up so they wouldn't miss a thing! My guests loved the cake so much, we didn't have any left overs! And it was the only thing I was determined to eat that day. Flavors chosen: Carrot Cake & Black Velvet Cake.

wow… what a gorgeous AND delicious dessert bar!! They had me at cake pop!! both delicious and beautiful, their desserts are top notch. Wonderful to work with the whole way through.

Although expensive, the desserts provided by Cocoa & Fig were raved about all night. My husband and I knew their stuff was great, that's why we went straight to them for our wedding dessert. They were more than willing to create the kind of cake we wanted, as well as hundreds of French Macaron cookies that everyone kept going back for. They were delicious. Because we spent so many date-lunches ending at the Cocoa & Fig location downtown, the cookies were sort of a sentimental thing for us, so I'm not sure if we would have spent the money if it didn't hold that kind of value to us, but I'm glad we did! The only setback was that they were asking for a lot of money to set up the desserts, so we just did it ourselves.

Cocoa & Fig is beyond incredible. We've never tasted anything like the desserts they make - and it's all made from scratch with quality ingredients. Other cake tastings we went to were very disappointing and Cocoa & Fig stood out far above the rest. We chose the dessert buffet option with our wedding cake, because it was impossible to choose just one. Our guests had so much fun choosing from a variety of mini desserts and we are still hearing about how great it was today!

Cocoa and Fig did our mini dessert bar and mini cake at our August wedding and they were out of this world. I'm only upset I was so busy that I couldn't try them all!! THANK YOU!!

We loved our cake tasting, working with Joe, and the final result of our wedding cake. It tasted amazing and looked beautiful. Their were so many options available and it was fun to be able to do something a little different. The banana cake with cream cheese frosting is pretty much the best thing you'll ever experience!

If I could give this place a rating of 100 I would! I absolutley loved, loved, loved, LOVED Cocoa and Fig!!! They are more on the expensive side but absolutely, totally worth it!! I got SO many compliments on the desert. We did the mini deserts and a one tier cake spread and let me just say, I didn't even get desert because it was all gone -- good sign!! I would suggest ordering more than you think you'll need. They say 3-4 pieces for every guest but we could have definitely gotten more. Everyone loved the deserts! They were also very helpful and very professional when meeting with and talking to them. I am SOOOO happy I went them!!

We ordered a small Black Velvet cake to cut for traditional wedding photos and loved it! The price was great and the taste was incredble. And, we can go back on our anniversary and order our wedding cake flavor in a cupcake version instead of eating year old freezer-burned cake :)

We selected Cocoa & Fig for our wedding dessert. We had a selection of 4 different types of cupcakes and a 6" cake for on top of the cupcake stand for us to cut. Our entire experience with Cocoa & Fig was awesome. We had our cake tasting at their Shakopee bakery, where we tried many, many different flavors before settling on 4 flavors for our big day. Laurie was very helpful with the selection, offering suggestions and listening to our needs. For our 6" cake, they decorated it perfectly for our winter wedding, with mini fondant snowflakes on top of a beautifully piped ribbon buttercream. The most amazing part of the cupcakes was the display. This company knows how to display desserts & cupcakes so well. When I walked in to the area where our cake & cupcakes were, my jaw dropped- it was a million times better than I could have hoped for! We had many compliments on the flavors of cupcakes, and because of Laurie's help, we had a perfect amount, with about 30 left over at the end of the night, which was boxed up for us when we left!

What a joy it was to work with Cocoa & Fig! They were responsive to emails and made the process so easy. They captured our vision in the cake perfectly! we absolutely loved the design! People kept asking us if it was fake it looked so good. Not to mention the cake itself which, if you've ever had Cocoa & Fig cupcakes, you know is absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend Cocoa & Fig for your wedding cake. I have nothing but good things to say about them!!

I became addicted to Cocoa & Fig because I work a block from their retail shop & my hair saloon is right next door. I had to have their cupcakes for my wedding! I went for a combination of regular and mini cupcakes for our two venues. Each cupcake (and I ate a great deal of them) were the best cupcake you've ever tasted. The great thing about them is that you have a great variety and if you're like me and can't decide on just one flavor get a few, they'll work with you to get the numbers right.

Cocoa & Fig did a BEAUTIFUL job putting together a dessert table at my wedding in July. Guests were rushing to the table before dinner was even over! Working with them was super easy and they accomidated all of our requests and questions. The black velvet cake pops are to die for! Not only did the food taste good, it looked beautiful too. As people are looking at our wedding photos, I think that the desstert table gets the most comments :) I would use them again and again!

We decided we wanted cake pops at our wedding but our cake vendor did not make them, so we started looking elsewhere. We got the recommendation from our venue, who had worked with them before, and we loved them! We drove down to Shakopee for a tasting and everything was delicious. We agreed on different flavors and amounts and they delivered them to our venue in Uptown with no problem. They were the first things gone that night, I barely got one!

Laurie and team created the most beautiful (and delicious) cupcake tower for our September nautical wedding. We loved the way she incorporated our colors, and the theme of our day into the design of the tower, bringing in the pink in the raspberry frosting, the navy blue ribbon edging the tiers, and my favorite part, the striped cake edged with rope that matched the rope we used throughout our stationary and decor. Cocoa & Fig did an amazing job and we couldn't have been happier!

We went with Cocoa and Fig to do our desserts at our wedding. We loved everything. They made the tasting so easy and it was very organized. We had a dessert buffet for our wedding with a cutting cake. (They offer a free anniversary cake so you don't have to save your cake in the freezer.) We loved there cupcakes, frostings and Chocolate shooters, they were AMAZING, guests were asking for to go boxes to take the desserts home, the desserts were a huge hit with our guests. Joe and Laurie were very helpful, and always emailed me back right away with answers to my questions. I will definetly hire them again, if I ever throw a party or something, and would definetly recommend them.

Cupcake tower was beautiful, affordable, and delicious. They also threw in a fee wedding cake top for our 1 year anniversary. Couple that owns the place is super cute and friendly.

I had cupcakes for my centerpieces and a 2-tiered cake for the head table. They both were DEVINE! I have never tasted anything so amazing. Laurie and her team delivered and set-up everything for us and it was beautiful. EVERYONE is still talking about our cupcakes and it has been a month since the wedding! I cannot even express how well the desserts from Cocoa & Fig went over at my wedding! I ordered half of the desserts from a different vendor that specializes in cheesecakes, and had Cocoa & Fig do the second half of the desserts in a mini-variety. They had a great variety of offerings (mini cupcakes, lollipop cakes, mini shooters, French macaron cookies--and everything was colorful, beautiful and delicious! The dessert table was the talk of the wedding! And the owner of the company is who you work with & is great!

My wedding cake was absolutely breathtaking. The details on each tier was the work of a true artist. And the cake tasted delicious too! We chose 3 different flavors for the 3 tiers - carrot cake, black velvet, and white. all were amazing, very moist, very delicious. All of the guests were commenting on how beautiful and tasty the cake was!

We did a different type of "cake" for our wedding, we did a dessert table from Cocoa and Fig. We got the idea when we saw Cocoa and Fig at the local Wedding show. It was amazing, 12 feet of different types of dessert. We chose to do dipped pretzels, chocolate dipped strawberries, fruit tarts, dessert shooters, and cupcakes. It was such a fun way to have dessert rather than the traditional cake and our guests loved it! There were not very many leftovers!

We actually did cupcakes and so were were able to do different flavors. They were all delicious and they were able to design the cupcake tower to match our wedding them. Laurie even made an angel food cake (my favorite) and its decor matched our invitations! It was absolutely wonderful plus cupcakes eliminate cake cutting fees!
